The hotel is surrounded by these giant walls and it just makes the immersion in Cusco that much better. I liked my stay overall but I thought the rooms might be a little but small. The biggest issue had is that there seemed to be above average temperatures in Cusco for October and almost no hotels in the city have air conditioning. That is something they can improve on since the warm temperatures are what annoyed me the most.

Fantastic hotel which is in an old historical building well preserved. There is a court yard with a transparent roof to keep rain out but let in natural light. Rooms are spacious with all the standard provisions. There are numerous genuine old paintings in the hotel, gives you a feel you're in a museum type environment. There is a shop selling alpaca products, a lady in native dress weaving and selling products. It is located in the middle of the old city within 5 minutes walking distant to the central square and surrounded by shops, restaurants and bar.

Stunning hotel in a central location (2 blocks from the main square) with romantic rooms and comfortable beds. If there had been more vegetarian options for breakfast, it would have been 5 stars.

One of the best hotel in Cusco. Its singular hall, within a space before part of a courtyard or cloister, covered PIR a glass dome and where you can make all the meals of the day, make it without a doubt a magical and unique place.

Great value, good staff, accomodating to large groups. We were a group of 10 on oir way to the Inka Trail. We stayed here two nights prior and one night after the hike. Service was excellent with most of the staff remembering us by name. They held our checked bags securely during our 4 day hike. Rooms were very clean and quiet, with nice decor. They have 220V outlets throughout so take your adapters. They have a 110 Volt receptacle in the bathroom but it uses the peruvian plug, so adapter still required. They have an onsite restaurant which was very good (except for the eggs at breakfast), onsite bar with a limited selection, and onsite Alpaca clothes store. Right outside the hotel there is laundry service, places to buy water and hike gear, etc. Just further up the block is the Plaza De Armas and central Cusco’s restaurant and bar/night life. Overall the stay was very plesant and stress free. Huge Plus: breakfast buffette starts at 4:30 am! With a typical 5:00am departure time for local buses and trains to local attractions, this made for a fullfulling morning with plenty of excellent peruvian coffee and coca tea. The things we did not like were: 1) pillows felt like bags of clay. A few of our crew mentioned how bad the pillows were. The beds were good though, and we were able to use some camping pillows to help. 2) breakfast buffette scrabled eggs were runny, very runny, and one of us go sick assuming from undercooked eggs.

Great location! Walking distance to everything. Hotel had beautiful entry and reception area with lots of seating. Room was nice, bed comfortable, and shower pressure great! Staff was very friendly and accommodating with all our needs. Breakfast buffet had great selections and was very delicious.

Beautiful and comfortable. The Inca and modern combination give a very different air to this Hotel, its dome, is spectacular, its visitors have to enjoy these qualities. And with regard to the human part, I was very pleased with the kind treatment of his collaborators, so I give him the highest score.

The hotel is well located near the Plaza de Armas. The room is modern and there is a beautiful courtyard at the front desk for drinking coca tea when you arrive. The breakfast is great with lots of variety. The service is impeccable.

Good location, clean rooms and a good breakfast buffet provided. The check in and porter staff could do with a little retraining in customer service for a French hotel chain. It’s a bit pricey for what it is. Go to the Ramada instead. It’s closer to the main square and the service is sooo much better. I can at this as we stayed in both hotels in Cusco.

Looking for a simple and economical place to have lunch we crossed with this hotel, had a burger promotion with Huancaina sauce, fresh and delicious ingredients, as always the good service in Peru was superb.

It is without doubt for me the best city in Peru. Beautiful city, countless archeological sites, wonderful traditional streets, friendly people, beautiful handicrafts, nightlife, gastronomy for all tastes, the most beautiful blue sky in the world and one of the 7 modern wonders: Machupicchu.

It's a cozy friendly place. Very well located in the center, close to everything. The staff is very friendly and professional. Reasonable prices.

Room was like a cave. No air conditioning. They offered a fan. 4 stars and a fan? No I think not. Terra viva hotels are much nicer and half the price.

Nice hotel, good breakfast. Service can improve. Wi-Fi is good at common areas, but terrible in some rooms.

Lunch had a very good taste but the portions were very small. The patio that is stone with the pool used to have beautiful rocking chairmen with hydrangeas and now there are none and it all looks very petreo and sad.

The location was great. However, the hotel is definitely not up to par with other novotels standard. No complimentary bottles of water, had tea bag floating on the toilet when we first checked in, no body lotion etc. There are definitely nicer hotel around considering the price.

The hotel is nice and centrally located. They could use some minor improvements though — like faster room-cleaning times, and advertising the fact that they have oxygen readily available for all guests. Breakfast was decent but not the best.

Beats me why on earth this is not a Sofitel (or at least a M Gallery Hotel) as it ticks all the boxes. The staff are just AMAZING and the building historical perfect! Going back in a few days and so looking forward to it!

Cafe took forever to order and when the meal arrived, the food is cold. It looks like meal was flown in from Lima Peru.
