Cutest hotel ever. We stayed here for 2 nights after the inca trail. I felt like I was in a 5 star! So clean, so comfortable and staff so helpful. The breakfast is amazing and the products supplied in the bathroom are great. I Would highly recommend!

We stayed in a few places in Cuzco and El Retablo was by far the best. The rooms were very modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The service was another level and could not speak higher of the staff there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The nicest touch of the hotel was that you did not feel like you were in one. The decor attention to details with art made you feel like you were visiting another part of Cuzco rather than just another hotel.

Beautiful hotel with modern rooms. Terrific service, good breakfast. Only downside is a steep walk up from the Plaza.

Excellent service. I was a little concerned that the hotel was a little away from the Plaza de Armas, but it all went away when I saw the route to get there: simply beautiful. Tourists come all the way up to the area nearby the hotel, so even the walk to the Plaza de Armas is amusing. Staff is incredible, they upgraded us because we asked for another room. Breakfast has several options, but could include a little more vegetarian/vegan options.

The place is amazing, so cozy! People there are so friendly and helpful. If you want to have a nice place in Cusco, this is your place. I highly recommend it.

Really great boutique hotel. Breakfast is very nice and staff are all lovely. One slight complaint is that some of the rooms are noisy if you're under another room.

INCEDIBLE STAFF! My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few days during our stay in Cusco. The staff greeted us with Coca tea to avoid altitude sickness and were very attentive to our needs. Once we checked in and settled in, they checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed while they provided a platter of assorted fruits and chocolate incase we were hungry from the long journey. The hotel was chilly so they provided us with a portable heater that worked perfectly. We have heard of some horror stories of hotels in Cusco not having hot water but THANK GOD this was not an issue here. The water was perfect temperature and pressure. After our second night, the hotel had let us know they had a free upgrade available with a nicer view and provided it to us at no extra charge and helped us move our bags. Breakfast is delicious and fresh with different healthy options. We ran into the staff daily who asked about our day and asked if there was anything we needed. On our Machu Picchu excursion, we had a pickup at 3:30am and the hotel provided us a take away breakfast which was more than enough food as well as some coca tea on the way out. The rooms are full of Peruvian charm and were very clean. The location was a short walk from the main area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.
