My husband and I had an amazing experience in Cuesta Serena, we needed a few days off and we had already heard that the hotel was nice but super completely our expectations, since we arrived, the attention of María Teresa and all her team, the beautiful facilities overlooking the Huascaran, the tranquility, the chef's recommendations, you have to try the ravioli stuffed with loche squash and the lamb tacos, actually all the food was delicious. The massages at the spa with hot stones were luxurious, the best masseuse in Huaraz.
The details at all times made us feel very conceited, we managed to rest and disconnect, we returned home happy and eager to return, thank you for everything!

We just stayed a few days ago at the hotel my pros: it has beautiful facilities, unparalleled landscapes, quite comfortable room and super friendly staff… my cons: the day we arrived it was somewhat complicated and the contact cell phone was off … the food uhmmm except the bread (riquisimo! ) the rest of unnecessary and excessively greasy food and nothing typical of the place… his pet friendly theme seemed too much to me! other guests took their dogs to the rest and food areas… in hours where there were quite a few people and children, I really dislike having to ask them to remove them since my daughter ended up in a scared corner… quite desgradable that they do not take care of those details … and finally the pool froze… so tempered nothing… 'll? I don't know… hopefully they will improve… Thank you.

Cuesta Serena is spanish for Serene Hill as its nestled within view of the majestic Andes! The Staff is so friendly and the food… WOW… it’s paradise on earth.

Very small place with only 7 rooms. Excellent view of the mountains and close to many historic sites such as Chavin de Huantar, Huascaran National park, Yungay and Laguna de Llanganuco. The place is quite pricey ($300 US), yet the rooms do not have central heating and NO TV in the rooms. The restaurant is quite limited in their selections as is the small bar. Mostly foreign visitors, who can afford the rates.

Beautiful lodge with amazing views, top notch food and excellent staff. The only thing that needs to change is the overcharged price of the meals. One of the best places to stay in Huaraz.
