Super value, low budget motel. Lots of space. Great views. Short walk to town.

Value for money. Full kitchen and wonderful views over the lake.

Not bad. Not modern but warm and clean. Great location and staff.

Had the bare essentials for a comfortable stay, and was located literally a minute's drive from the town centre. Like all other motels and accommodation there, room had a spectacular view of the water and mountain scenery of Queenstown. Worth it.

I loved it. Near downtown but away from the hustle and bustle. Just across the street you can swim in the lake. Clean towels and toilet paper daily. Soluble coffee, sugar and tea TB spare parts daily.

Avoid this place. The photos are misleading. It was the most terrible place I have stayed. I just left after one night in one of the private rooms… Every where was covered in spider nets including rooms and kitchen. I guess it has not been cleaned for years. The security was zero, the doors were always open and anyone could easily walk from outside into the kitchen, toilets and even rooms… No soap was even available in the toilet… Overall the building is terribly old and not serviced… I killed a large spider on the bed as soon as I entered the room… All over night I was bitten by some insects while sleeping… The mattress was literally broken and I got a terrible backache because of sleeping over that… Electrical saftey was not observed, the wires of ceiling lamp was out and somsone could easily touch it and get electrud… There are no lifts and one has to lift his suitcase or backpack 4 levels up from the ground floor.

Just loved the ample ample space. Friendly staff. And location above all.

Overlooking the lake, it was quite spacious accommodation with 2 rooms and a drawing room, and all of it was so reasonably priced. Strongly recommended.

Bed: firm enough, clean enough. Reception: Friendly and flex but bit surprised with the room keys stuck on the entrance door outside with no one inside the reception desk. Kitchen: old but functional. Bathroom: Refurbished lately? Looks new. Hair dryer in room. Room: old but spacious with small glass table, TV with TV stand, shelf for suitcases. Only concern: Room 1 back door wasn't lockable and not locked when we got into the room. Since there's bunch of noisy and drunk neighbors in a motel, it would be really nice if they can completely lock the back door. (Lucky we managed to find this out and somehow locked the door) Maybe dependent on the season and this is not directly related to the motel but neighbors were too noisy with dragging furniture and making loud banging noises.

The view at balcony is great and stunning. Lake Wakatipu is just infront of the motel csn sunrise in the morning! Furniture in the room is too old and nred to upgrade.

Close to town which was nice. Also right across from the water.

Limited Wi-Fi service. Rooms are good with heaters. Bathroom's mirror is not placed above the wash basin. First floor rooms get excellent view of Wakatipu Lake. Parking space is limited to 10 cars. Guests have to carry their own luggage.

Spacious room with a kitchenette, great view out of the window of the lake. Our room had a slight smell, but it was not unbearable and you wouldn't notice after a couple of minutes. Fairly close to Queenstown city too, about a 5 min walk.

Perfect location on the lakeside, close to town and great Wi-Fi. Highly recommended.

The motel is at the quiet part of Queenstown, and located just beaide the lake. The building is old, but the 2-bedroom unit that we stayed in is clean and tidy. Staffs are helpful and prompt to our requests for replenishing room toiletries and coffee/tea supplies. Free Wi-Fi is only 2gb per access given, additional data can be purchased at the reception. The motel is value for money considering the location near town.

Green mold in room. Smelt really bad. The staff were lovely and understanding but I couldn't stay there. Cost me $300 a night to find anywhere else to stay.

Good location nice view. Opposite the lake. Enough facilities in kitchen. Warm room in winter. Hard to park car. Outside looks run down. No free Wi-Fi.

Great location, great view. The room has been renovated, with some existing old furnitures. Free Wi-Fi is now available with around 1 GB limit. If the parking is full, you will have to drive around 500 m to park at roadside. One of the 2 bedroom apartment have to be 2 single beds. The bed cannot be moved.

We recently stayed three nights and to be honest, while we had to buy a heater for our room as there was no instant heating, it was/is excellent value for money. It was obvious the bathrooms have been updated, as they aren't the same as in the photos and are now modern. We were only 300m or less walking distance from the township and pretty much 500m walking distance from the eateries and bars. It is on a very busy road, but the noise from traffic didn't carry into the studio. The views of the RemarkabIes and Lake Wakatipu are amazing. We would definitely stay here again being value for money, close proximity to town with a million dollar view!

Called a week in advance to change the date of booking, were informed that all the dates we could make were fully booked. Asked to cancel the booking with a partial refund, declined. Frankly, with demand highly exceeding supply in Queenstown accommodation at this time of the year, they could easily have charged us 50% of the total cost and still made a profit because the rooms would have been taken by someone else in the week between cancellation and the stay. Makes no sense that calling a week in advance would entail the same cost as a no-show. Have traveled quite a bit in NZ and never encountered an accommodation that behaved this way before.

Excellent view! Couldn't ask for any better! Would not mind going back…

It was nice and cheap place to stay in Queenstown.

Would recommend Motel to all what fantastic views and rooms were certainly more than a 3+ star very reasonably priced highly recommend.

Great value and handy to everything. Very helpful staff.
