Fab weekend in Picton.
Our crew of 20 thoroughly enjoyed our trip and stay at Aldan Lodge was perfect for us.
Clean, spacious rooms, good value for money and handy to the town centre.

Glen and Jackie took care of me. My unit was tucked back way from the road. Very quiet. I got my laundry done. There's a fresh choice across the st. Also a mekke gass grill in front of the unit.

Spacious room and very clean. Lovely n friendly people running the motel. Would highly recommend this place.

Awesome place to stay and it is dog friendly supermarket just across the road main street one over just loving our stay here.

Excellent sorting out my needs as I didnt get in til 1am.

Awesome people lovely place to stay.

We travelled 13 hours with a trailor and arrived quite late. We were warmly welcomed by Greg and he showed and helped us with parking the trailor. We had the best sleep, got spolit with Sky TV and our room was heated when we got there. The room was clean and welcoming. Felt right at home. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Cosy. Quiet … reasonable suze room and comfy bed… and handy to shops. Supermarket and ferry.

We travel a lot for work and this motel has been the most welcoming and friendly by far. Owners helped us maneuver our furniture trailer into a parking spot for the night. It's great to find a motel that's dog friendly too with tiled floors. The location is a 3min drive from ferry, and close to shops. Had a great sleep. This motel will be our first choice if we need a motel in picton in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very helpful hosts that made me feel right at home. Even had room for my cat and bird. Very comfortable bed and lovely warm room. Will defiantly stay again.

Great location. Perfect place to stay for staying overnight in Picton.

Don't be fooled by the 4 star rating. This place was dated and in need of an upgrade. However the rooms were clean so that was more important to us.

Lovely staff and very clean. The motel is close to the supermarket and rsa is just down the road and they do good cheap meals.

Clean and modern with very friendly staff. Kids loved their own room with sky t. V. Would diffinitly stay here again.

Great place to stay, owners are nice. It's fairly close to town and the wharf which is only about a 5 minute walk away. The units themselves are cozy, and they come with a stove, tabletop cooker, microwave, and fridge, plus anything else you might expect from a hotel. Definitely a place to come back to.

Quite the years, a bit gully comes along.

Second time for me there. Entirely suitable for a stop over while waiting to go on the ferry to the North Island.

What a great find, stayed for 4 nights and what a pleasure it was, Such great friendly welcome on arrival. Clean and neat. I will definitely. Be staying here again and will recommend it as the BEST place to stay in Picton. Cream of the crop. I can say that as I have stayed at other places in Picton before. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent parking for our 7mtr truck. Wonderful friendly hosts and staff. Would definitely stay again.

Restaurants handy to motel location including the supermarket and water front for those water taxis and kayaking, bicycles can be hired too, various hiking trials around the village, great place for that Holliday we needed from the rat race! Highly recommend!

It had free Wi-Fi and a cool upstairs place.

Upon arrival at our Pet Friendly accommodation we found an unpleasant greeting at reception, and our room was the basement kennel. We understand we have limitations when we choose to travel with our wee maltese, but this is taking it too far. The whole unit had a tile floor, very cold as no heating was turned on until we arrived. Room also had a musty smell. An uncomfortable stay all round, I hope the landlady is in a better mood in the morning when we go to the office to pay and give her some feedback that she will not ask for. I wonder why?

My two teenage sons and I stayed overnight before completing our journey to Auckland. On entering the suite I was immediately impressed. A neat order place with a fresh look about it. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean and sharp looking. The upstairs bedroom with its own TV and vcr was much appreciated by my sons. They picked out several videos from the collection in reception for their evening entertainment. We were in walking distance of several restaurants, finally picking the Indian we had a excellent meal. The lodge was convenient to the ferry. I left a bag behing with some personal items. When called cheerfully arranged transport. I highly recommend this establishment.
