The unit was fine — clean and spacious. The not bad thing was the terrible Wifi.

We stay here every year. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The units are well maintained, warm and clean.

Staff were friendly. About the only good thing. Paid almost $400 for 2 nights which was fine for us until we saw the room. It was basically a shoe box. Wi-Fi didn't work. Felt claustrophobic and ripped off. We left a day early to go to better accommodation to spend our hobeymoon.

Very comfortable stay here & so convenient for the town centre. The bed was fantastic as was the shower. The staff we met were very friendly & helpful. My only criticism is that the floor space is a bit restrictive however overall it was great.

Really clean, comfortable motel. Perfect for work overnighters. They also have a good selection of chargeback options for dinner.

Was alright for the price. But felt like no insulation. The TV was fuzzy and could barely see anything on it.

Super clean and tidy rooms, the only motel in town giving Free UNLIMITED Wi-Fi, free parking. There hot water is on gas too, which mean they will never run out of hot water.

We loved our room at the Bella Vista. This was the first spot we stayed at in New Zealand and it was a lovely little intro to this country's hospitality. Our room wasn't overly spacious, but it had everything we needed. The staff was very accommodating to our very late arrival and helped call us a taxi when we were heading out.

Had an amazing stay. Arrived at 9.30pm and was a wee bit worried about washing my hair and using their towels to dry it. I have red hair so didn't want to stain the towels. The guy was more than helpful and went and got some dark coloured towels for me. The room was nice and warm when we got there as he put the heater on for us. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money. Shower is amazing!

Clean and quiet rooms in a good location to downtown. Good shower with lots of water pressure and hot water. Well stocked clean kitchen. Big plus is their unlimited internet. The down side was it was a bit drafty and we had to run the heat more than usual. There was also quite a bit of light coming through the windows even with all the blinds and curtains drawn. The bed was a bit of a disappointment as was we had a queen size bed but it was two beds put together so it had a very uncomfortable ridge down the center and hard ridges around the edges as well.

We stayed with a group and had a great time with even better service. The room and facilities were more than adaquate. I would highly recommend this stay.
