A relaxing and enjoyable stay 🙂

We have had three rooms at this hotel for the last 5 nights. Our rooms are never serviced and when we ask we are told they don’t have enough staff. On the one occasion after asking all day we returned to find our room open. The management could care less that our room and it’s contents were left unattended. No manager will respond to our requests to speak to them. We now have 10 drinks vouchers as we are given two for every day they can’t be bothered to do our rooms.

In quarantine for 14 days — very comfortable rooms, lovely and friendly staff and we are being kept extremely well fed!

The staff are awesome and very attentive, friendly and accommodating. I would love to be back again. Well being staff are great. They made is feel like we are home.

Great place to quarantine. All staff are outstanding and make a tough time bearable.

Food staff are amazing 24/7 wellbeing nurses on site army guys are polite phone calls from reception if we need anything. Great stay during isolation.

Love it. This is an extra special place to stay, with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Right in the heart of Christchurch. Views are stunning.

Fantastic buffet breakfast, room was small but nice and tidy but we looked out our window to the air vents or what ever they are called so that was disappointing. About from that great service and lovely stay.

We’re from Christchurch and we stayed here twice as a little get away. I’ve already booked another stay-that’s how amazing it is. The service at the front desk is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms stunning. My favorite part is the hotel bar. Such a classy environment!

We loved our stay, bed was comfortable and plush. Everything was fantastic, cant wait to come stay again.

Best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand at a decent price. Rooms have everything you need, service is excellent and plenty of on street parking (no need to pay the $15 per day fee to the hotel parking lot). There is a bar downstairs as well as a cafe that make great coffee. Breakfast is decent and worth getting if you book. Highly recommend and will stay again if I come back to Christchurch.

Delightful, accomodation was stunning and very comfortable. The front desk staff were attentive and the bartender makes great cocktails. Thank you for the lovely visit.

Highlights — shower heads — window lounge with views over the city — T2 tea bags I checked in late and it was WAY slower than it should have been. Night staff didn’t have any solid recommendations about what to do or see in Christchurch. Staff in the day were way more helpful!

Very good restaurant. I just thought it was weird that one of the waitresses spilled water on my table, said oops, but then proceeded not to clean it up. Very good food and nice cocktails. A bit pricey though. My stay was also very nice. Everything was great actually apart from that weird incident where I was stuck with a wet table for the rest of the evening.

Enjoyed our stay in our lovely room. Everything we could want. Lovely and clean and well kept. Good views over the city and all its activity. A bit pricey.

Went for high tea with my toddler, mum and nana at the restaurant upstairs. Originally it wasn't clear that it was held upstairs as the high tea menu states that its held in the social wine bar. But a polite man at the front desk could obviously see we looked a bit out of place and guided us to the elevator and told us which floor to go to. It was clean, open and elegant. As soon as we walked up to the sign to be seated, we were nicely greeted and taken to our table. They offered a high chair and brought it over promptly. They took our tea orders and brought them out quite fast which was great and then followed by our high tea. The original lady who seated us, was lovely and checked up on us and made sure everything was good and helped us by taking photos for us which was so nice of her! She left us to it after that and never came back. It was obvious at one point that we had finished and weren't going to eat it all and expected that at some point, someone would come over, that wasn't the case — I noticed there was another employee who must've not long started his shift who didn't even acknowledge me. I had to walk over to ask for a couple of boxes to take the extra home, he just handed them to me and carried on what he was doing. I paid for our high tea then we left.

I wouldn't recommend staying here at the moment. How can anyone sleep with roadworks going on all through the night right outside! Would be great if you have guests a heads up about this before hand!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here — the hotel is gorgeous! I loved the bathroom (especially the glass wall), the window seat and… THE CARPETS! I've seen a lot of hotel carpets in my time — and was really impressed that they managed to find something that was both functional and gorgeous to look at! It's got a completely different feel to other CP's, very boutiquey rather than corporate. Staff were super friendly, food was great… would stay again in a heartbeat. :)

Market place was great. Say by the window overlooking Colombo st and Victoria park. Lots of work being done but it's the best place and great food.

The hotel is new, lovely foyer entrance and facilities great. Room was nice and comfortable… which included a see through bathroom… that could be screened off by the flick of a switch and TV sound was wired into the bathroom so you didn't miss anything you might have been watching. We were the first passengers our shuttle had dropped off and found the entrance to hotel lack of parking a problem. A nice stay… and yes, would go back and stay.
