Absolutely gorgeous lovely rooms clean and tidy with beautiful views.

Outdated rooms. Different from what has been advertised.

Two minute walk to the lake from our room. Five minute drive to town/bars. The pool was right outside our room. Awesome customer service. Clean rooms. Easy location. We’ll be back. Thanks!

Great location and great price right on the lake.

At short notice we managed to secure a compact but affordable and well-designed room with a great choice of TV channels and a hot pool on our doorstep. The staff were universally friendly, there is a good laundry and tennis court and the hotel is very close to the lake. The restaurants were great and well-appointed. It is only a few km from town.

A 3km de la zona comercial, se puede llegar andando pero mejor coche, parking gratis. La piscina es increíble, en invierno se mantiene a 40 grados gracias a la actividad geotermal de la zona Algunos apartamentos dan al lado. Tienen 1 restaurante.

Great location; enjoyed the restaurant food and hot pools. The bed was not very comfortable but this was outweighed by other positives.

Best place to stay in Taupo, hands down. The resort is not crowded and the pools are awesome, Great for an early morning swim or a late night rest. The tennis courts are awesome and I love to go and play basketball at the hoop. The best rooms are the ones that are lakeside. I love waking up to a beautiful crisp morning and looking out on the beautiful lake as the swans glide across the water. I love coming outside at sunset and feeding the ducks. The ducks are so used to humans that they don't even mind being picked up! I love this place much better than any other hotels or resorts out in the area. It leaves Hilton hotel in the dust. Great service, pools are clean, the whole place is generally clean. The staff are kind and the reception is awesome. Great room, has heated blankets, great showers with good water pressure, big fridge and self cooking stoves in every room. Good televisions with nice channels. I love Oasis Resort hotel and have had so many great memories at this amazing place!

Affordable accommodation in Taupo, rooms feeling a bit dated, fine though for the price. Perfect if you're just wanting somewhere to sleep then out doing stuff during the day. Morning paper delivered to your door. Friendly staff. Right on the edge of the lake. Can use the restaurant next door for breakfast.

A must stay in Taupo. Decor is absolutely lovely rooms are very spacious we stayed in the studio which opened out into the pool area. Water was very warm which was great… Awesome place. Reception lady was very friendly and helpful.

Clean tidy. Good pressure showers. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Plenty of off street parking. Has pool and spa to share. Close to everything.

Nice decent resort in Taupo, New Zealand. Facing the lake. Reasonable pricing of rooms.

Step off the porch and into hot water beach — don't dig your toes in too deep though! About 2km from Taupo town centre, which is walkable. Plenty of good facilities on site, including room service, a bar and restaurants.

It was beautiful staff friendly and professional room clean and very comfortable hot ool was heaven. I would highly recommend it. We will be back xx.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The service was great. Lovely staff. We really enjoyed the pools, grotto and a lovely breakfast overlooking the lake.

Food was okay. Pool temperature not on point. But nice views and a comfortable stay.

Nice but outdated and our room was really cold even with the heater on high shower pressure was really high and went cold when turned down. Took our daughter swimming in the cave spa which she loved. And ducks on your door step which she called our visitors.

We love this location with its view to the mountains over the lake. Easy to just step outside your door to walk to town or for daily exercise and delicious meals can be delivered from the restaurant next door. Sure its not the most upmarket place to stay in Taupo but comfortable, warm and well equipped. Everything we needed.

We stayed at the resort for one nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hot pool is amazing and the view of the lake is very good.

We stayed here for 2 nights… the heater wasn't even working. Outdated room… very small indeed. Shower was small and hot water was there but kept on changing itself to cold water somehow. Not a pleasant hotel for holiday… very outdated.

We wanted to be right on the beach for the children. Just about all the other motels in Taupo are on the wrong side of the main road and Oasis Motel is exceptional in that you don't have to cross the busy road to enjoy the lake, views, swimming and ducks. We walked out of our room straight to the waters edge. Over the years we have tried other motels in Taupo but they were lots noisier and it was always dangerous crossing the road to get to the beach. The swimming pools at Oasis were great — lovely and warm. The children like going out on the jetty. We played tennis on their court which is right on the water's edge and ate our meals at the Millenium Manuels Hotel right next door although the Oasis had good kitchen facilities where you could cook for yourself if you wanted to. I never want to! The food at Manuels was very very nice — I think they have won lots of fine-dining awards. We have been to the Oasis before and always enjoyed our stay. It is cheap, especially if you go like we do, in the off-peak times.
