Spent the ANZAC long weekend at Chalet Eiger and it was the most relaxing time we have had while away from home. The hosts, Nina and Peter are fab and their goal is to see you feel right at home and that we did. Lovely breakfasts to kick the day off and had a meal inhouse one night. Started with trout fishcakes, then rack of lamb and lovely fresh veges and roast potatoes and to finish was a decadent chocolate, berries and cream dish. Did need to loosen the belt a notch after, hehe. We even got to borrow their e-bikes and went for a ride for a couple of hours and stopped at the the art cafe up the road. Chalet Eiger is a first class, 5 star establishment and the extra staff — Bella & Rufus the dogs and Floyd the cat gave plenty of cuddles to add to the experience. Thanks Peter and Nina, we will see you again.
