Staff extremely friendly and the addition of the 24 hour snack shop in the lobby is extremely helpful! I thought the food at dinner was very well cooked and presented while there is a vast choice of breakfast. Room sleek and modern.

Good business hotel, with great and helpful staff. Location is also great, with easy access to different public transportation. The facilities are modern and in good conditions. However, the internal soundproofing should be improved. The breakfast can be also improved, and the room space is small, considering the room price.

Very nice hotel, not in the city center. I have been here for a conference, but I also had some free time to visit Amstredam. The location of the hotel is in a very green and quiet area. It is easy to access the highlights of Amsterdam by taxi. The hotel is nice and fair. Staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and the one I've stayed in seamed recently refurbished.

Very unhappy with customer service.
I had the misfortune to have my plane cancelled two days away (on three nights booked it's a lot of loss). I took care to inform the hotel every time so they could turn around. Unfortunately my reservation had a no refund clause in case of cancellation I had to involve booking (site by which I had made my reservation and I thank for its investment and its follow-up) in order to try to obtain a Partial refund or a commercial gesture by moving my reservation all this with mail and supporting documents but in vain!
Of the coup €480 and certainly the double in their pocket because they were able to rerent my room and fill the attic they even levied me the tax of €25 while I did not even see the color of this establishment…
Very disappointed with such a prestigious establishment with so can of regard and taking into account the case by case of its clients.

The hotel was easy to find and conveniently next to a train station. The rooms were clean with the beds extremely comfortable. Nice selection of snacks and Dutch craft beer downstairs. The staff were amazing with answering all our questions and holding our luggage until we traveled out of Amsterdam. Will definitely try to stay again!

Location is quite good. Though you need to take a short walk to the nearest station. The breakfast is just fantastic! Room is quite nice.

Good hotel, little central location. Great business friendly hotel with good rooms. The location is not very central but it is well connected (metro and tram a few steps). Great for business stays as it is close to RAI and a 15 minute walk from Zuid. Dined in the bar/restaurant, nothing to write home about but quick and attentive service.

Perfect Hotel. Outside the centre, in the RAI area.
Being a bit off, you don't have the city's wasteland but it is extremely served by public transport.
Metro stop a few steps but I recommend the tram 4 to 200 meters (left) compared to the entrance of the hotel. (Buy the daily ticket to be able to use the means whenever you want and always remember the checkout when you go down).

Really nice city hotel! Rooms are basic but kept clean and modern. Sauna area is immaculate, and very well laid out, separate male and female sauna rooms with the showers/toilet just outside the door which extremely handy! Free apples in the fitness which is a lovely idea! The restaurant in this hotel is very good, and the bar staff are so friendly and would go out of their way to help! My partner is a Liverpool football supporter and the bar staff promised him they would get the match on for him the following night which they did. Hotel is a 10 min walk from a lovely shopping mall with a lot of desginer shops! It's also a short walk from the train which is extremely handy. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam as it's only a sort uber ride from dam square!

What one expects from a Novotel. It is close to the airport and well connected, both with the airport (train) and the centre (tram). Eye, it's far from the center.

Stayed here for NYE. The staff is very friendly and caring. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The location is good — near the public transport.

The welcome for friendly, but this is the only positive point.
Lunch at €22.50 Place de Parque Exterior proposed at €22.00/day, while it is at €8.40/day at 10m from the enclosure.
Small room and should be refreshed. Nothing has been done for years… Equipment? TV with 3 channels, plastic tumblers in the bathroom, …
Checkout? 20 min with an incompetent person (4 phone calls) far too expensive for what it is.

Hotel of 10, new and cared facilities. Very well equipped and spacious rooms. Restaurant of 10 sea Buffet or Carte. Near the tram station that goes directly to the central station, a step from the RAI and the Amstel Park.

Clean but a bit in the years come. Breakfast is still great!

Not really in the center however convenient to get by train from the airport. Quiet and clean rooms and great comfort perceived. Wi-Fi free. I recommend it for families as well as for business trips.

Very good hotel comfortable, cosy, clean, with modern and functional rooms. The only bad thing is they have only one elevator for the whole hotel, the stairs are very steep with narrow steps. Breakfast is very good. Recommended.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. The rooms are very well furnished and modern. But above all, neat and clean.

The proximity to the metro station RAI is very helpful. Out of the hustle and bustle of the city, just out of the freeway, no complaints about the location. The hotel is in the process of renovation, you can have the chance to fall on their renovated rooms. These are very modern and pretty. However, wise eyes may notice the slightly sloppy finishes. The staff is always just as welcoming, enjoyable and multilingual (careful it doesn't mean they are after speaking your language). I recommend it warmly.

Rooms were great with a view! Not far from a large mall. Near public transportation and the center of Amsterdam. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. The staff was outstanding especially the bartender for making me a special drink a few times because I wasn't feeling well. They were all so accommodating and gracious!

Very good hotel located not too far away from the centre of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean and the hotel has many facilities, just about all the facilities you will need. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful and try to make the customer happy. The only reason it doesn't get the full 5 stars is because it is a little but too far away from the centre.

Especially highlight the cleanliness in the rooms and they do not speak Spanish even if you say so. In general they are not predisposed to help and they tell you just how fair.
I booked a room with a bathtub and got one with a shower, which overflowed the water because it had no inclination. The room was spacious and a big TV with very few channels and it sometimes crashes. A very comfortable bed and soundproofed walls. Good pizzas at reasonable price to be at the hotel.

Near highway and public transport. The hotel has renovated rooms which they offer at the desk for an additional €15, —. We thought it wasn't worth it. Also no bath in the renovated room. Staff was very friendly and arranged another room with a bath when we asked for it. 4 stars because of the staff. Hotel itself isn't special so 3 stars for the hotel.

It offers what you would expect from it. It's not excellent but it's perfectly fulfilled. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just two blocks away there is public transport direct to downtown. It is a hotel focused on business clients and events.

Despite a late booking the prices remain affordable, the location is ideal with a direct line to the airport, quick access to the Metro and therefore to the city center. Very clean and beautiful rooms Finally short super Hotel for a great weekend!

Great hotel amenities with modern design and friendly staff. However I do hope that they make the elevators more efficient, too often I am waiting for what it seems forever when I cam get on especially during the rush a second or two less waiting per floor would already help. Breakfast needs some review as well. Also I am trying to make sense of why a business hotel doesn't have a proper working desk.

Amsterdam is a cyclist-sized city. Godibilissima walk past the many channels that characterize it. Hotel but in a short time you reach the center thanks to the services well distributed and functioning.

Everything was spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff from reception to housekeeping. The best range of breakfast food I have ever seen. However, there seemed to be only full cream milk on offer, and in the room there was no milk at all, just coffee creamer which is unpleasant in tea. There were no cups or mugs in the room for hot drinks, only glasses. The bed was extremely comfortable and the large TV was a treat.

As compared to other Novotel hotels across the world this hotel was bit below standard. First there was no shuttle service between airport N hotel. Considering the hotel a huge hit among business conference traveller's I feel this service would be of great help. The room was bit small again as compared to other Novotel standards. But the location proximity to Tram and Train station was good. Room service again was a let down where you had to rush down the reception to collect your dental kit. Overall satisfactory but way below Novotel chain of hotels.

Downstairs in the lobby perfect, the rooms do not match the price. Too small, long not refurbished, had their best times already behind.

Easy to reach from the airport and from the city center. Quite quite area. Small, comfortable and clean room and very comfortable mattress. Good soundproofing. Personnel is polite (yes, just polite). Breakfast is good enough… So the hotel is not entertained me but provided all I need for the rest after work.

A comfortable stay with a good breakfast provided. Staff were very friendly but not always very helpful. I asked the reception staff for some advice as to how to get into the city centre and one said tram and the other metro; neither could agree with one another. And it was only as I was checking out that a very helpful team member thought of providing me with a map, which had all of the trams marked on! I could have done with that a few days earlier…!

Lovely hotel. Comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. If I had to give one criticism, it would only be that we found the options in the hotel restaurant limited and expensive but all in all, I throughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning again.

All hotel amenities were in excellent condition, I enjoyed my room and my dinner at the hotel restaurant — unusually tasty food. The breakfast buffet is among the richest I have seen. However, upon check-in, I was asked to provide a credit card, and the hotel was unable to accommodate a Visa debit card. This is the only card I travel with, and I travel to over 10 countries twice per year, so it was shocking that a reputable chain like the Novotel could not accommodate it. I offered to pay for my room upfront and pay for any expenses in cash or by card rather than charge them to the room. I was then charged for the room, the breakfast AND a 70 euro security deposit. There wasn't even a mini bar in the room, so this was not necessary at all. I had to collect the 70 euro in cash the next day, which is unfortunate because that is when I travelled back to the UK and did not need euro currency. This was an inconvenience.

Great hotel close to all public transport 15 min to get to the center of Amsterdam. The room is very good, clean, the bed at the top… The staff is very nice.

Fair visit over several days, the room was a little small, the bed very comfortable, the view very nice.

Unfortunately not really close to the city centre, but with a tram station right in front of the house. Otherwise, this is a nice and clean bussiness hotel with large rooms and friendly staff.

We received our room immediatly upon check in. One of the newly renovated rooms. Very good service and very environmentally thinking with awarding guests with a voucher at the bar if you choose not to have your room cleaned. I would though have wanted to use it for the bike rental instead.

The reception is always so friendly, the staff apologize for the slightest minute waiting. The formalities are minimized. Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast Buffet plentifully Furnished (too), pleasant dining room, good luminous intensity, correct sound ambience.

Hotel Novotel is a brilliant hotel with decently sized rooms and comfy big beds. Well decorated minimalist rooms sport a hefty amount of plugs to keep all your gadgets ready to go and also provides a large TV to watch while you relax after your long days out. The shower is superb and the price is even better, I will definitely stay here in the future.

Small, but clean and nice room. A bit tight for three people. Beds are comfortable. Good to have a shower with a bathtub. Staff are very nice and friendly, always happy to help with any issue. Great breakfast buffet. So many selections and fresh and delicious food. My favorites are the fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccinos and made to order omelettes. Will definitely be back. Thanks! Edit: reception desk lines during peak times could be very long. Just waited 30 minutes to check out. Lowering to 4* after that experience.

Location: Out of town, a bit too far out if you plan to use it as a base to visit the city unless you use it to force public transport.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Rooms: Sore note. The rooms are small, and if you pull out the third bed it becomes almost impossible to move inside with 3 suitcases. In addition, the table in the room prevents the third bed from opening and to move it you end up always having it between your feet.

Our room for three was not really what I expect from your group. Used and stained carpet, used washbasin, products and towels in insufficient numbers. Excellent Breakfast. Home more than average.

A bit small, but very clean and well equipped toilet. The shower taps could be replaced for a less rounded model, since hands lost grip once wet. Room was also clean, big, mattress perfect, all clean and clean smell. TV very big at 50 inches. A/C perfect. Closet had a well sized safe. Plenty hangers, hair drier, cotton robe and slippers. Toiletries were diverse and had nice smell. Nespresso machine, electric kettle (I didn't use them) and a well sized fridge. Plenty drinks. The restaurant had plenty space for a lot of people. Never felt crowded around 8 am. Staff was very kind and continuously cleaning. The buffet was great, plenty kinds of food, all of them very well cooked. Natural orange juice and coffee machines everywhere, that was great. I didn't notice seafood but I only had breakfast. Receptionist were gentle and kind. Overall a good experience.

The room was immaculate and the check in/out process was amazingly easy. Would 100% recommend this hotel as it is very 21st century in the domain of customer service! However, I do not recommend the food. Overall, I found the food to be a very disappointing experience. The food rates were overpriced based on the quality of food being received. I also do not recommend paying the addition 22.50 Euro for the breakfast as it is not worth it. That being said, every other aspect of the hotel is extremely professional, comforting and it will make you feel like you are right at home with the nespresso machine.

Never again — this was not a pleasant experience — reception is very pleasant however getting into the lift which has a sticky floor and doors that opened only partially to begin with before slowly opening fully, into a corridor where the stains on the carpet looked some decades old. Into a very 1990's room which did not appear to have had an update since — the same stains on the carpet — blackened silicone in the bathroom and missing vent cover for the bathroom fan demonstrated well the lack of attention and maintenance this room has had. Finally coupled with a really dirty filer on the window and mini fridge that buzzed continually make for a fantastic start. Then through the paper thin walls at 2am I hear doors and windows slamming — to top it all so far despite three requests you have not emailed me my invoice yet. To say I am less than impressed with this venue would be a significant understatement. Not what I expect from a leading brand, but something that will define my hotel choices for the future.

Everything was great, even room service. Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast could have more variety in food, and cutlery should be easy to get (waitresses laid them down on tables but ours didn't have any and it was difficult to get them).

This is our 3rd visit to Novotel. We have enjoyed very visit so far and find the staff and environment excellent. The upgraded rooms make the overall experience even better and the breakfasts are superb. The only downside was the sink in our bathroom — it had no plug and was shallow. This made a wet shave difficult. Also the shower screen wasn't wide enough; water sprayed everywhere but these aren't massive issues. Now we are a member we benefit more every time we come back.

I think that, being Spanish the third most spoken language in the world, there should be someone in reception who spoke to them. Not all of us speak English fluently, especially those who already have quite a few years old and in his day, we studied other languages.

Really pleased with the rooms and facilities. These were excellent. Service was lacking. We waited 40 minutes for our waitress in the bar to return to take our food order after serving our drinks. She never did so I ordered at the bar. We had to rush our food and were late for a meeting. Checking out took way to long with people checking in and out in the same lines. We waited around 20 minutes to check out. There is a quick checkout service we could use in future but at this time we were not registered. Breakfast was good and staff were very polite.

Cities tour with family. Room just enough for 3 people. The bathroom was a bit old.

City hotel with a 'special price" 189 Euros in a double room 169 in the EZ. Service friendly but only limited Info at the reception, no info to Frühdtück, gym etc odr questions whether the bes. Needs. Rooms with unpleasant odor was freshly renovated and especially nice (!? ). With the window open it was. Breakfast selection also very good quality to bread. But great restlessness and problems tables in time to stock up on. Was occasionally a little sticky. Location with good transport links. Payment methods rather unentgegenkommend. Money will be blocked for 1 month, or pay the same, and a 70 Euro deposit. Made with the same card in similar Hotels much better experience. All in all, I would recommend at a similar price.

Beautiful rooms, very good event, good food, unacceptable reception (20 minutes waiting! )

On the day of departure our car was broken against 13.00 o'clock on the Park strip in front of the Hotel. That seems to be broken to be normal because on the same day, two other cars in our group (Codex Event). According to the security service and by the glass remains visible has also been on the previous day a car is broken up. Why not be warned of the guests? Why not install measures such as surveillance cameras? Greeting Christoph Morick.

I loved the hotel, the food and the gym the only thing that I don't understand is because they can't add these stocks to my account of rewards, in other hotel chains I have no problems with this.

I think that a hotel of this level should have at the reception staff who speak different languages and not just English. It would be a great welcome!

Pleasant stay, helpful staff, great choice at Breakfast (especially the really perfect "Soft boiled eggs", "soft-boiled", and the always up to date-squeezed orange juice). Also the idea with the 5 Euro credit/day for the waiver of the daily room/bed service is good, if only with Restaurant/Bar/Breakfast redeemable.

The hotel is well located, right in front of the station RAI which makes it very accessible. Right next to it is the tram and the subway too

But the hotel staff is not welcoming. No smile, no nice word… the room was dirty, poorly cleaned, the kettle tray full of dust. I stayed three days and the housekeeper did not even replace the soap… a short clean level, there is still a lot of work to do in this hotel.

I've been here for work. Very decent hotel. Very close to the park and the tram stop. A little further stop trains. There are only 2 stops to the airport, so if there are not a lot of things, you can do without a taxi.

Affordable price, good breakfast. 50 meters to the subway, tram, train to Schiphol. And this immediately compensates for the distance from the center. And once again I emphasize the favorable cost.

Perfect location — 5 mins walk from Amsterdam RAI station, and 10 mins by train from Schiphol Airport. Also conveniently connected to Amsterdam Centraal by the number 4 tram or number 51 metro.

Quiet, spotless, good beds, nice competent service, decent breakfast (especially the omelettes). Nice touch to offer a €5 credit for each day you opt out of housekeeping. The restaurant isn't a great choice for lunch and dinner. A great choice for RAI.

Not a bad hotel. Fairly standard, but far too overpriced for what you get. Good transport links, about 4 minutes walk to the train station, and a 10-15 minute train ride to the city centre.

Excellent an convenient next to Rai.

Partner stayed here. Despite being winter, the rooms were so hot at night she couldn't sleep because the room was overheating, and even left the windows open at night. Wi-Fi was only available in certain spots at the ground floor and even then, it cuts out and the quality of the connection is horrendous.

Just return home after a stay with you, loved this hotel, all staff friendly and made me and my partner feel really welcome. check in was quick and simple, then up to our room which far exceeded what we expected for the price of our holiday. people previously reviewed this hotel and said it was a poor location for tourists — I disagree, a bit out of amsterdam center, but an excelent tram service (number 4 tram from just outside hotel) which takes 15-20 minutes, and really cheap to use (GVB 12, 48, 72 hour travel pass) would highly recomend this hotel to other people, and I will definately be coming back myself. well done novotel amsterdam.

At hotel special mention to Lilian, treated us wonderfully, we always agreed on breakfast, and aside from speaking in Spanish, it is charming, and peers have a good deal, hotel is located next to the tram line 4 station, and plants you in the Center in 20 minutes. Breakfast very rich and varied. In short to repeat.

A single little thing, the room is a bit small, but to visit amsterdam this well, since these all day in the street.

The rooms very good clean and comfortable unfortunately emfang hate man above no Wi-Fi.
Totally cool otherwise the there is a bath tub.
Service was also fully net and German was no problem.
Can you only recommend!
Prices are also tolerable.
