I stayed at this hotel for 3 days for a festival. One day when I left my iPad to charge, I came back to my room and my iPad went missing. I already it was one of the cleaners because when I came back our beds were done. They’ve continually doubted my judgement on their staff and till this day they haven’t done anything about it. They said that they’ve contacted the police but after a month they have stopped contacting me. I’m so upset that they have now ruined my trust for this hotel by not being able to trust the staff. Thieves.

Price is very reasonable. Close to trains and buses. Designed with travellers in mind. Very cool games room. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Unlike the other Holiday Inn properties this place is quite obviously commercial — small rooms, very formal …, not a place one would wanna laze around in … business like.

Very informative and patient front desk folks. They get 5 stars. Super Close to the train, which is kinda a big deal. Go for a drink at the hotel across the street.

Clean and cozy room, nice staff. Beware of putting anything in the fridge, as it will trigger the sensors in the mini-bar and try to charge you. The front desk staff understand though, so they cleared it out.

Dated ambiance. Rooms could be more clean with fresh breathable air. Bathroom could be without Mould. Carpet could be without dirt and spots.

Fabulous hotel, fantastic staff, great location — a bit out of the main centre but only a short walk from train and metro and bus. Only two stops from airport. A very enjoyable visit. Intend to return to Amsterdam and will certainly stay in the Holiday Inn again.

Loved this hotel every staff member was amazing! So friendly but I have to give a special mention to Thirza she went above and beyond and deserves to be employee of the month! She upgraded us to an executive room which was amazing! Complete with a Jacuzzi tub which was a big hit! We received free coffee on check in too she made our stay and I can't thank her enough. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she always greeted us with a big smile. That lady is the empitemy of customer service.
The room was gorgeous and comfortable with all the necessary amenities you would expect from a holiday inn. There was ice machines on each floor too which was very handy. The food was lush too and breakfast was great with lots of choice.
The city centre was a 20 min tram ride away. We got a 3 day pass which aloud unlimited travel throughout the city which was great.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and was certainly sad to leave but will be back. Thankyou!

I booked a hotel with holiday and they talked me into booking a future trip through some special promotion for there anniversary and they specifically told me I could book a resort that was not on the list (the stratosphere in Las Vegas October 31-November 3)
I specifically asked to be able to book that resort through that specific date but I have a business trip six months from now and was told that I would be able to book this guaranteed I also made sure to tell them that if I was not allowed to do this I would want a full refund and they told me I would not have any issues I could call them back and have a refund taken care of. I have been bait and switched and given the run around for my money. I will leave every holiday inn a bad review until I am refunded my purchase amount. It ridiculous that they think they can treat customers like this and try to for e hem to choose a resort that they do not want. This is illegal in the United States. I will not be taken advantage of. Please do not book with holiday inn! They are liars!

Worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The housekeeping is the most pathetic part of it. I was booked for four nights and from day one I was asking to place coffee mugs in my room instead of small chinese tea cups that they had supplied. It took me two days and an agitated argument to get those by end of second day. And to my surprise and shock… They were taken away on third day… How much more should I cry and moan. Add to such horrible service was the cooling in the room… I complained three times that the AC is not working and every time the maintenance staff told me that it's beyond their control. Very non cooperative and hopeless staff. Strongly recommend to stay away from this place.

A hotel in an excellent location to get to the center but stay quiet in a not really central area. Cleanliness and courtesy. Tram 4 is 100 metres away. Recommended to subscribe.

Holiday Inn is no longer a name. Hotel not cared for. The bathroom curtain dirty as never seen, at 16 rooms not yet ready. Very small breakfast room you struggle to find place.

Everything is at the highest level! Even the iron in the room is!

The hotel is clean and well equipped but when we cleaned the room we did not replenish some basic things like the gel or the towels. The service is good and it is located right next to the RAI station, so it is very well connected with practically all of Amsterdam, especially with the centre. In the elevators there is a tablet where you can play Angry birds XD.

This was a great hotel, very clean and staff are very helpful. Their laundry service works well too. A varied breakfast menu suits all but if you like a cooked breakfast the bacon is not very good (kind of like really dry streaky bacon bits). The only thing with me being English. I like my cups of tea, they provide sachets of powdered milk in the rooms which I would not use in tea so kept having to go to the bar for milk. Also they only provide what I would describe as espresso mugs in the rooms. So when I wanted a brew, I had to use both cups to get the equivalent of 1 cup of tea. I left a note (in Dutch and English) for the cleaners to see if they could provide mugs or larger cups but my note was ignored.

A little out of the way but well served by public transport (bus terminus to the center on the street corner). In the summer time super crowded and poorly managed. The rooms are very small and not too clean. The staff were very helpful Hotel parking fee (€30 per day)

Pretty good hotel, I stayed for 5 night. All of the staff I interacted with were very good, friendly and helpful. The bedroom was OK although the heating / cooling was very inconsistent. Bed was comfortable with a good choice of pillows. The biggest negative was the disaster that was the queue for breakfast. Bearing in mind that I was there for 5 nights I was dealt with in 3 different ways, sign for 'unpaid' breakfast, sign for 'group' breakfast and waved through. This was after queueing, on a couple of occasions behind 15-20 people. This was made even worse if there was an IHG member in the queue because then the only person capable of signing people in would break away to make them their free coffee.

Absolutely underground! Already paid rooms will be forgiven for late arrival (one day) despite OnlineCheckin. You will be there at night without a hotel room and must listen to the reception, that would be the rules. Of course without refund!

You know what you get at Hi Express. Free Wi-Fi, good spacious rooms, top breakfast. And almost unlimited coffee (instant coffee) in the room.

Nice business hotel. Everything clean and cosy. Surprisingly good food in the restaurant. Traditional breakfasts with freshly made omelets. I can recommend this hotel for business stay.

It is really advisable for the equidistant proximity to the center as to the airport… Cleanliness must be quite quite better. Both in the bathrooms and in the room itself daily… The facilities are quite renovated and stylish. Modernist has a restaurant with quite pleasant recreation areas for my the best of the hotel… It is very good area for groups and children… Prices in general are not cheap. The food is quality… Very expensive parking 30eur daily… The rooms are quite comfortable.

As soon as I entered the lobby eas very nice and clean with a nice quiet vibe, overall first good impression, second the the staff were very helpful when we need item such as extra pillows and were very polite and helpful. The rooms were tidy and clean with a a lot of space which is always a positive. Once again I reccommend this hotel, and have enjoyed staying here. Thanks.

Large hotel, located relatively close to the metro station. Hotel is fairly worn down, especially the rooms (and bathrooms). The room was also fairly cold, as air conditioning is not working when key card is not placed in the room.

Very nice Hotel with ample common spaces to be able to read, watch TV, see the flights and attractions of the city you interactive monitor. A PC and a printer available. Large Bar area restaurant with quite varied menu but nothing exceptional. The bar serves Starbucks products, but the breakfast included in the price is a continental buffet oriented mainly on salty. I cannot rate the distance from the center as I was staying due to a cancelled flight. It is about 15 km from the airport and taxis are about €35.

It is a very comfortable hotel and the staff are very helpful.

Nice place to stay but the maximum room temperature was so low that I was freezing all the time. I think this is not the hotel itself but the dutch habits. They have really good breakfast with nice selection. The so called fitness room only has two threadmills, an elliptic trainer, two bikes, a multi-functioning "bodybuilding" equipment and a stack of barbells. All this in a small place that is even colder than the room. They are serving the dinner very slowly!

Decent enough hotel, but it's pretty much like it's equivalents elsewhere. Breakfast not included in room rate & at €22 per day is outrageous. Found a couple of cigarette ends of the room floor.

Close to tram and train with a brisk walk you are in the heart of Amsterdam in 35 minutes the hotel is very clean and very expensive to eat inside very expensive even. The reception is not too much the smile will not be at the appointment I had that a person who smiled at me by serving you a coffee the rest he gets the mouth. For info in the street The pedestrian is not a priority we will brush you on so watch out for this country it is not Venice where you can relax the tension you will be traumatized by the bike bell the proof I bought one as a souvenir.

Check-in from 2pm. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful Rich Breakfast. Modern and clean bathroom. Wi-Fi running and fast. Check out at 12 very convenient.

The room for four was equipped with two queen beds. The place was adequate and the bathroom according to age. There is a nice lobby with attached bar. By Uber in the city costs about 18 euro.

Double queen bed was clean. Not overly roomy but OK. Printer conveniently available in lobby. Incredibly close to RAI conference center.

The first attribute in a hotel should be hospitality. Being fancy does not compensate for rude personnel. Personnel in the lobby should smile and not make assumptions. Please give them a smile bonus. All of them were depressing!

The room is furnished with what it was inaugurated.

No bathrobes or slippers. Neither do all those little things that you find at a Holiday Inn first, since I've turned several.

Staff at reception and restaurant were really nice. The rooms were big enough for a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. Although we liked the hotel, we found the room and bathroom to be dirty. The bathroom floor and the bath tub were dirty and the walls of the bedroom had many stains (someone had possibly spilled a drink all over the wall) which could have been easily cleaned with a sponge. Breakfast was fantastic. Public transport is right beside the hotel.

Reliable comfort for an American traveling to Europe. The staff was really friendly and speaking English was not a problem at all. The pillows are on the small side so I recommend asking for two extra per bed. The toilets have poop ledges. So if that's unfamiliar to you then sit backwards on the toilet so you drop the kids off in the pool rather than on the sidewalk outside.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms with air con. Has fitness options, bar and restaurant. Close to tram and train links. No. 4 tram goes straight into Amsterdam Central and through Dam Square. Takes about 20min.

I do not know whether because set of is specials room, room located on the 6th floor, very old（towels are damaged, or not clean（lamp is gray, the lights will also flash.

The hotel is very well located next to the terminus of Line 4 of the tram (possibility of renting bicycles), which allows you to reach the centre directly in less than 20 '. I was also able to appreciate the green spaces nearby; Ideal for an outdoor running session. The breakfast is excellent, and you can benefit from a personalized omelet, made in front of you. The staff at the hotel is helpful and smiling. In short a good address to which I would gladly allocate a 4th star as soon as the works of the street, in front of the hotel, will be finished: in Holland we work at night…

Super location … a block from the station RAI, and which arrives and departs the TRAM that goes straight to the center.

Nice hotel but a little remote. Also with tram 4 you were in the centre of Amsterdam in 30 minutes. In the area there are not many places to eat at night. The hotel is very cute inside, very good breakfast and good attention.

We stayed October 1st through until 3rd. We were staying as part of a larger group, all booked separately. 3 of our friends booked through a booking site (not direct). They had no rooms for allocated. 1 friend shared with another, the others with children were put up at another hotel (organised by Holiday Inn). We booked direct, we booked a larger room with arrival drink and bottled water. We went to our room which was very dusty. The staff were spot on and had the room cleaned straight away.
No bolted water or drinks vouchers though! Our friends (we were with a lot of families) all seemed to have the same rooms as ourselves.
We spoke to reception who insisted 3 times we had the correct room.
On our 4th visit to reception about the room size (we had paid for it after all) we were told we were in a standard room as the larger rooms were all taken. We were refunded the extra amount. I then asked about the extras.
Bottled water was placed in our room and the drinks vouchers were given to us (we had no time to use them and handed them back).
We asked if for our last night we could have a larger room, we were told that would be no problem :-)
The next evening we were told the larger room was not available : — (
However the Manageress asked if we would be happy with a top floor suite.
We took her up on this offer.
Yes the bar staff are a little miserable, but that is part of the character.

My experience has not been nothing good. FATAL
The room was dirty, with respect to the bed sheets very rough, the pillows were cushions, and the air conditioning was not working, respesto to the bathroom, the curtains had ketchup and there was no shampoo or shower gels, we put it on the last day, we cojieron a card room. My surprise when you arrive to Madrid, they are charged 25 Euros on my account, I call and they say do not know my language and I hang up.

Was at the Holiday Inn at Amsterdam RAI for a seminar: easy to reach, fine facilities and rooms and the catering was excellent.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife and two daughters. We had two rooms on the 7th floor. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff couldn't be more friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice Hotel, large rooms, very nice Helpful staff. Good big Breakfast with plenty of choice. Free Wi-Fi and a welcome drink. Very nice. But the Parking per night€ 30, and the underground Parking 50€ per night. But not far from the hotel is a Parking area with 8, 40 per day from 9-19 clock and free in the weekend. Good connection to Tram line 4.2min. Way. Trade fair centre, nir 5min. To walk away. Highly recommended!

Had a meeting here, room was a bit run down. Chairs good enough for a day of sitting. Wifi was a joke so had to use mobile data.

Awesome Hotel, but no breakfast.

I don't appreciate being shafted for a further eur 30 for parking. This wasn't made clear during the web booking and I was therefore more than surprised by the request. Stood my ground and saw the charge disappear. Hotel needs a makeover, tired and slightly overpriced. Wifi costs were a joke, they need to get real. Dissapointed.

We have just had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. Very comfortable room and bed, with one of the best sleep times. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and courteous. Thank you Holiday Inn.

I liked it. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included in my conference rate. Breakfast was good. Room was nice and clean, relatively modern. King-size bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite.

Our room was very clean and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cocktails at the hotel bar were overpriced and terrible. While the hotel is outside of the center of Amsterdam, the RAI station and the no. 4 tram line to Amsterdam Centraal make it very accessible.

Very nice hotel overall. Rooms are not very modern but clean and comfortable. This hotel has been recommended by the RAI for a congress, and whereas it is at a very close proximity it is not a business hotel. Wifi access costs €15. — per day per person.

A clean and comfortable hotel with a business like atmosphere. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a disappointment. Bed was sumptuous with a choice of pillow hardness. This made up for any failings. Easy access free Wi-Fi a bonus too. Breakfast was an expensive extra at €22 per person.
