My client made this reservation, each night I was woken up in the middle of the night by folks in the hallway yelling. There is no desk in the room, the small counter available was not large enough to put a laptop on. The safe lock was broken. There is no way to walk anywhere therefore it costs over $50 EUR in taxis to go anywhere and EVERY taxi driver that dropped me off at this hotel told me to leave the hotel. The food at the hotel can only be described as completely disgusting and nothing was editable or even enjoyable… even the coffee is not worth the effort. Staff was in general sarcastic and rude. Easily the most disturbing part of this experience is that the hotel charged my client over $270 per night and these rooms are available for less than $80.

I was over one Night and I was very pleased. The Employees were smart, helpful and showed Initiative. The Rooms were well equipped and clean. Service and Check-in have flawless works Absolutely recommended.

Very comfortable but the staff do not speak French.

Located just 15 min by tram from downtown. Lines 1 and 17 at 100 meters from the hotel.
Spacious room, comfortable beds and simple and clean bathroom. Breakfast with little variety but correct. I would repeat without a doubt.

Placed in very cosy place. But the transportation is a bit heck as it is one km far from the hotel.

I loved my stay here. It was a 10 minute train ride into Amsterdam city centre from here. The garage next door had a shop. Would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

The hotel staff are so friendly and nice. They will try and help as much as they can. The hotel room was clean and simple but enough for a city break when you spend very little time in there. The tram is a 5 min walk away and definitely the way to travel around the city. I would definitely come back again.

Nice and clean hotel! The people of the hotel are cordial! Expensive like everything in Amsterdam. The hotel bar sells good and cheap Jupiter beer!

Great location with easy public transport accessibility to the city centre. My room was modern and well furnished. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff are lovely, helpful, and friendly! The housekeeping is the only thing that really needs improvement. All around the building itself is a bit shabby, there's no lift up to 6th floor (which was no problem for us) so you get out at 5 and walk up, but there's an awful smell of bad drains around that little landing. The bathroom in the room had the smell too so I can only assume there's a leak/drain problem throughout. Overall it was a nice stay, the location is good and I'd probably stay again!

I really liked it here, we were there for one night. The beds were super soft we had in the room standing a kettle of tea and coffee and in the bathroom there was soap and shower gel for guests also ready. The beds and sheets were clean and fresh and the towels were soft and washed. Unfortunately for me the bathroom was a bit small but for one night that's fine.

Pretty clean and staff pretty helpful. At least from the day to the next. Otherwise the weak point too far away from the city center. 1 hour on foot. Expensive breakfast for what it is. TV bathroom toilet bed. Very clean.

Hotel away from the center of Amsterdam… The room was noisy at night and the bathroom all too small… Besides everything just arrived we had to pay a communal tax (? ) despite having completed everything online through a hotel site.
Not overly negative experience, but the fact remains that there is no compromise; All too far from the center!

A bit out of the room but a nice hotel anyway! I recommend to travelers not afraid to use the Uber app.

Nice service. Room was unfortunately not so nice but OK to just sleep. Could have been cleaner. Very good location. The park is in close proximity.

Stayed here for 3 nights when I visited Amsterdam in 2017. Location was quiet and the Room was tidy and close to a tram station. One thing I hated the most here is the space on the shower. Its too small! I would say the price for high for the services they offer,. I walked to Vondelpark from here and its pretty close. Hard to find any restaurant close to this hotel and the breakfast buffet was costly as well. Its okay to stay here though compared to the price of other hotels in amsterdam.

Great little hotel. Very cozy and well priced. Right next to Rembrandt park. Trams about 5 minutes walk away.

Very kind. Very clean. Comfortable. Economic. You have a refrigerator and electric pa in case you want to make breakfast. The only cons is it's not that close.

Nice hotel, fairly close to the tram stops. Some things were a bit worn out. The shower door had a broken hinge but overall clean and tidy.

Without infamy or praise, hotel a little out of the way from the center. Quite convenient the tram stop that will take you straight to the city center. Recommended more than anything to young people who want to spend the right. Breakfast.

I have housed a few times in Bastion hotels. We chose this type of hotels first for their affordable prices. I have stayed in several hotels much more luxurious but the price-comfort ratio is, in my opinion, very advantageous. Don't come here thinking we're at the Waldorf… but the comfort and service of the bastions is ample enough to be adequately accommodated while respecting a limited budget.

Good for the price — clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast, 10 mins walk from the train that takes you to the airport within 15 mins, the same to the centre. The only minus — teeny tiny bed and teeny tiny bathroom, no vanity set, just the basics of basics. Perfect for one night in Amsterdam though!

Good value for rooms and location.

Really bad customer service I would never recommend this hotel when you will traveling with your car. During our stay our car was parked on the hotel protected and fee required parking place but some thief’s where still able to enter it uncovered and broke into our and some other guest cars. The hotel was recognising this on the same night but didn’t informed us and so the car parked there for two days whit an broken window and they don’t car if there drops rain throw the window or something else. We first recognised the broken window on the departure day and thereon we asked the hotel when this happens and why they didn’t informed us but the only thing what they replied to us was sorry we don’t know… and that the management will get in touch with us but this didn’t happen and so I must get again in touch with them and the only thing what they‘re answered was that they are apologising this but can’t do anything for us. I also replied to them that one of the hotel employees told me that this happened not the first time and then I also asked the customer service why they didn’t protect the whole parking spot with cameras so that they avoid this customer complaints but they really don’t care about my thoughts. So all in all I would not recommend this hotel because they really don’t care about the customer needs and that the customer have there a pleasant stay!

I stayed for a couple of days, not far from the city center. It is comfortable, its workers manage good mastery of other languages. A great service, near the city, you can go with friends or join with the family. Very comfortable rooms. A pleasure, hope to go back!

Good four, the room and shower room are really small. The room is clean, the waiters are helpful. Overall not a bad hotel.

For those who are not nordic are too high perches both of the clothing to bath towels. The well is so small that it is impossible to wash the face because it hits the shelf, even the faucet as soon as to hard legs for the same.

The Hotel itself is good, it is in approximately 6 min with the Tram. Parking is available, however, with booth fee. The Breakfast is ok for the price of 13, 50 € I actually expected a little more. To reach a selection of shopping possible (Lidl) in the ca 10 — 15 min. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Now to the room, the bathroom is very narrow and the sink is much too small, the bathroom not exhaustive, it's okay for me and my Partner that was not bad. The room itself is also quite small. Plenty of space for clothes and for smaller people like me is very inappropriate.

The Hotel is recommended without any defects and thus to. Only the connection to the public is associated with a little walk. Up in the city, it is a good 40 min. On-the-go.

Rooms very dirty, carisimo and over after the paxton that charged us 120 euros for the room, we had no right neither to breakfast, of course we had breakfast and they nailed 28.60 euros for 2 people. Yes I took a photo and left it to the receptionist je je je je je.

The beds very comfortable and the internet very good.

Hotel was alright, the floors didn't feel clean, I don't know if it's because of the material they used for flooring or not. Safe needed to be reseted which means the room wasn't ready for us even though we arrived at 8pm already. Shower drain was really slow. After my shower I realized that water have seeped through the glass door onto the bathroom floor. In short flooding because the drain was so slow.

THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE
Hello to all! First, to say that the treatment of the seller has been ill-fated for such a "CLEAR" because she did not want to be identified, and I guess that is your name because so were heading to it. When we arrived we had problems with the card to open the door? and miss Clea, he returned to recording in very bad ways, the night was difficult to pass, as between the smell of urine and illegal substances, which seemed to marijuana and hashish we don't get to Rest almost. The second night we went to rest, since my girlfriend was being very bad and when you try to open the door, do not let us open. I went to Clea to record again and between her shrieks, screams and bad forms in English I thought that I wanted to say that it is my fault that I had been Close to the mobile and cleared the data. When I asked him to not lift the voice, I threatened to say that if I apologized with her, she'll let me sleep in the street with my girlfriend and that I didn't care if she was sick, "All in Spanish", what I refused and Called the police and told his version of the facts which we know was already speaking in another language and we were not given the opportunity to defend and forced us to go to the street in the middle of the night and with a person who was wrong.

Comfortable hotel with small rooms and bathrooms, close to airport, parks, the van Gogh museum and well served with public transports. Fair price for the place. Has tea roomkit.

Price/performance is ok. The room in the direction of intersection, unfortunately, even with the window closed very noisy. Sink too small, the water tap is completely loose. Breakfast ok, room clean.

Half of the rooms have a view to the highway and its interchange. You get motor and pneumatics noise all the time. I had earplugs (and window closed), it pneumaticss but not motors. I had to wait 2 P. M. Before I could sleep.

Half of the rooms overlook the highway and its exchanger. We are subjected to pneumatic noises and engines all the time. I had balls for the ears (and the window closed), it covers the noises of the tires, but not those of the engines. I had to wait 2:00 of the night before I could fall asleep.
Night in the evening and without rest despite the rest of the hotel services.

The Bastion Hotel AMS Zuidwest is aa nice, reasonable trade off between budget and proximity to the downtown. The location is easily accessible from the airport by train (12 minutes, 4€) plus a short 10 minute walk. To get to the city centre, it's a 7 minute walk to the tram, then a 15-25 minute ride. On arrival, a 5€/night "tourist tax" was charged, in addition to the booking which was made through a 3rd party online booking site (it was still cheaper than booking through the hotel's own site). The staff were friendly and fluent in English, although had some difficulties operating the front door intercom and were unable to provide a print out with the booking details. The room was small and plain, but otherwise comfortable, and including a mini-fridge, tea kettle, and TV. As we stayed during Sinterklaas, a small chocolate letter was left outside our door in the morning, which was a sweet little surprise.

Great welcome, very helpful with anything and everything, great place to stay with easy access to city centre with transport just miutes away. Great night sleep after busy day in heart of THE GREAT 'DAM' will be back.

Worst hotel that l ever visited. The staff is very unfriendly and even rude. The hotel is very dirty and they don't care about cleaning. At our room some dirty underwear of a stranger was lying around. Never ever again!

Zero away from all too expensive for this is fake hotel fake personal.
