Terrible stay. Noisy rooms, constant renovations that started at 8:30am and went till early afternoon. Bathroom is shocking, mould on floor, shower curtains and ceiling. 1 star for location.

I booked a single room which was small but clean and functioning. The people on the reception are really helpfull. Location is good. Overall good for the price.

The Hotel has a great location: 15 mins walk to the center and 3 mins to Vondelpark, staff is friendly, breakfast is not varied but hearty and always fresh. This is the end Of the pros. Cons: Cramped rooms, no air conditioning, dirty, poor layout of rooms (from the balcony of the room you can see absolutely everything that happens in the room #102). Do not under any circumstances do not take a room for one person! It is in the basement, cramped and has no window!

Great location. Room ok. Bathroom minimal. TV poor selection and fuzzy. Internet only if you agree to let the company use your personal information and share it with partners.

My stay there was perfect. My room was changed to a bigger room upon request. It is not far from the city centre with access to trams and buses.

Absolutely not recommended. My Room is tiny and super hot and there is no Air Conditioning. The only Window does nothing because the Room is in the Basement and the Heating Pipes run right through the Room. The Bathroom is an absolute Disaster. A thick Layer of dust on the Fittings and the Shower only knows hell or North Pole.

Absolutely avoid a dirty hotel with dirty rooms. Very narrow stairs. The location It's not even 1 star.

Decent Hotel in the museum district. Economical room in the basement to advise against the claustrophobic but which remains a last resort in case of late reservation.

Very good location This is the only positive thing about this hotel. The room looks nothing like a 2 star. Toilet in the shower filled with moisture stain. A window that doesn't close. Impossible to sleep with the constant noise of day and night. The breakfast is nothing like a breakfast and very expensive. Better to go into town for breakfast.

You get what you pay for… Staff was helpful when we wanted to change room due to my pregnant girlfriend. The hotel dosen't have any elevator and the stairs are steep, not the best set up when you got Something extra to carry.

Well, it fulfills its function. The location is very good, more to the center more expensive hotels that offer the same and you can walk everywhere without problem. The only thing I didn't like was that at breakfast there were no fruits.

The Hotel is very good. It's reformed. It's not expensive. It has steep stairs to climb to the rooms. The people of the hotel are Maja. Breakfast well, from 08:00h to 10:00h.

Small but nice, very close to the center!

In a week or have not cleaned or made the beds… In a basement, with a tiny window… and above you have to hear that is the best of AMSTERDAM… in Spain this hotel sanitation closes it does not even get a pension.

I stayed in Room 308 and unless your looking for a place to crash then avoid at all costs. I stayed for 3 horrible nights. 1st night I was woken at 3am, 4am and eventually got up at 5am because of all the noise from people using stairs and banging doors. 2nd nite again woken at 3am with people using the stairs and the fire alarm going off at 4am. 3rd and thankfully my last night I couldn't sleep at all from everything stated above but also due to heavy winds opening and spamming a skylight in the room, seeing it was february/March it was freezing. I checked out at 7am with a sore chest and very little sleep over the 3 nights. I'll not even go into the condition of the Room as it was disgusting. Now I'm a single bloke in Amsterdam and not a fussy one at that, however for the rest of my working trip I've checked into a 4 star hotel to feel some normality and the heat. I'll never forget the Quinton England and will tell stories about my stay there for years. Staff were nice enough so no complaints there.

The Hotel is quite bad, very small rooms, some without wardrobe to be able to hang the clothes, the mattress super soft with springs that annoy when you lie old that are, has four floors without elevator and with a very steep staircases, the right situation, but not very central and the staff unkind, very distant with the customer, for the price is known to be an ordinary Hotel (100) € the night, in line with those of London or Paris, are light years away with those of Spain at that price, but, it's what there is, or a bad hotel, or minimum 200 €/night.

Staff and location OK. But everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

Beautiful hotel. Clean and we'll maintained. Noisy stairs though. Breakfast is charged separately.

Small rooms for the service and everything was of high quality, I recommend a lot.

Relatively nice hotel. We stayed in a double room where we had a tiny space to pass. The shower is also tiny. With each movement he struck with arm in the wall. Sound insulation is non-existent. The employees are very kind. Worth it for a night, no more than that.

2 star hotel without pretension. Well placed but bad soundproofing and poorly maintained. It's a little home for young workers.

Clean and essential. Good location with 10 minutes walk you get to downtown.

The room was tiny, the double bed consisted of two mattresses that slipped in all directions as soon as you put on it, the window was not properly closable, so it pulled through and you heard the street noises, the toilet brush was extremely Unhygienic and very difficult to remove from their mount, from the promised "free toiletries" was nothing to see and on the towel to dry hands, were stains on it.
The staff were friendly. For one night and for the price, the hotel was okay for us, but if you want to spend more than 1-2 hours before and after bedtime, the Quentin England Hotel is not a good choice.

Nice, clean, quiet and cordial.

It is not wicked, difficult to find hotels for smokers (this is not) minimal rooms small bathroom, very thin walls, so the neighbors listens to them all. For the rest a lot of courtesy, 24h reception, luggage storage and distance from the center of about 5 minutes on foot.

Just wanted to make note of the stay we have had with you 03-06 Jan. We booked a standard room, upon check in went downstairs to find a very very small room. This wasn’t going to be suitable for our stay, so I asked to be upgraded to a more suitable space. No problem. The room was plausible, further inspection, deteriorated and falling apart furniture not to mention a toilet that sung the song of its people every time you flushed It. The bed needed to be changed over to a double for our stay which was completed on arrival back to our room. Once my partner had a shower the whole bathroom water backed up and flooded the whole space. Waiting to see if it would go away. We had to have the reception come up and inspect and for us to change rooms again. Thus being put into a more dreary room with twin beds and what looked like 2years worth of who-knows-what on the walls. I mentioned this to reception the next morning asking about having a double bed sheets fitted, but she seemed to cut me off and said she “already knew”. Upon the next few days the bed wasn’t changed over and the following day someone had “made” the bed by lying the blankets back over the top in only what I could class a 3 years olds attempt. The shower would not keep a consistent temperature and seem to go from extremely hot to cold in an instant. Upon check out all we received from the receptionist was “oh, I remember you”. No sorry about the bathroom etc. Seeing we paid for an upgrade.

Breakfast included and access to the centre of Amsterdam via tram number 1 for a reasonable price and with good facilities (hot water, drinking water, ammenities, drinks at the counter). Unique but nearby (walking) there are not many dining options, but by tram you get everywhere and it is two blocks away.

Clean comfortable, nice size rooms. Two twin beds put together as a 'king' bed (but I'm sure that's typical of Europe). Great location for walking to shops and restaurants! Enjoyed our stay here!

My first and last visit, would have to be refurbished. Single room very small, had one with "shared" bathroom which was a real booking error of my site. The location is great, could save me a lot of driving and reach everything on foot when I was in Amsterdam where I had to go.

The hotel is on a quiet residential street not far from the vondelpark about 5 minutes walk from the leidsplein. Rooms are on the small side but clean and with a decent sized bathroom. Staff are friendly enough and price is OK.

If you have a room in the basement, you have a stinking toilet. You always have to run a fan because it is too hot in the room. (October, 15 degrees)

Poor quality hotel. Bathroom floods during shower, toilet seat broken and falling off. And rooms so tiny you can barely fit in them. Nice staff and decent Wi-Fi but need to take better care of the rooms.

Mistake — booking through Duetsche Bahn. It sounded like a good idea at the time! Train tickets and hotel room all in one. But when we got there, we found that we actually paid three times more than we should have. Do not book through the train station in Germany! Mistake — The room was on the fourth floor. No elevator. Very steep staircase. No window. There was a skylight, but we couldn't open it because the crank was broken. Besides, it was raining. No closet. And there was enough room to barely walk next to one side of the bed. MIstake — Assuming that if we paid $196 for one night that we would get a private bathroom. "nuf said. If you do go ahead and book here anyway, be sure to ask if you actually have a closet, window, and private bath.

Great service, friendly staff, room was basic but fit for purpose.

The hotel is nice and fine, it's very sad that I forgotten some things & my ring there. The answer was: no ring here. But I am shure I have forgott it there.

You get what you pay for good location and staff are helpful. Rooms are very basic but it's good for somewhere to store stuff and sleep.

Too noisy at night, small room.

Rooms in basement floor has no window and smells moisture. Closet is just attached next to bed and separated by a very thin wood plate. There is no table or wardrope to put your belongings around. The heating wasn't operated in the end of december and so it was pretty cold. Terrible place to stay.

Budget accommodation at its average. Beware no elevators if you have heavy luggage.

We were in July. The stairs impossible. Narrow and very high. For the bags you see and you want. The room had a wardrobe and a window, but the bathroom was next to crappy. Little water pressure. Without shower tray. The days that we were it was hot, and the room, to which he gave the sun, there could be 45 degrees. And the window could not be open unless a rendigilla. Has free Wi-Fi and is going well. In the reception friendly. Very well located. To the side of a huge park, the subway or bus stop. Not to return.

Too bad they didn't had a suitable room, but they had a room.

The room is a decent size with Wi — Fi.
On the other hand, there was work on the façade and so the balcony was inaccessible. Otherwise, the service was very good, the reception was friendly.

Stairs are impossible, WITHOUT ELEVATOR with steps of THREE INCHES of depth; they do not make the room if you do not wish to, without cabinet, without a/c, rooms with no window, the pictures that you posted don't seem even remotely, and it is very expensive, in Spain, would be a Hostel. In short: to FLEE.

Bad! ROOMS OF 4 m2 WITHOUT WINDOWS? Is It legal such a shame?
The room was a closet! Ugly, unlivable!
For charity It was low budget, 35 euros per night for one person… but rather I go camping!
It seemed to be in punishment!
Ah the Wi-Fi does not work if more than tot people use it together…
Public transport works quite well: go out but in a decent hotel!
