Very good place to stay. Near to central, clean, Lidl nearby… Very few parking slots behind the building. Top floor just reachable with very steep stairs, not good for families. Breakfast was also good.

The hotel is relatively new (the result of a renovation), and is strategically located, not far from the RAI fair, and very close to the centre or the museum area, both of which can be easily reached on foot.
The rooms are arranged on 4 floors (the hotel is equipped with an elevator), all on 15sqm/20sqm, then rather small (especially the local bathroom).
The rooms on the lower floors, due to the busy road, can be a little noisy.
The general cleanliness is good, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the breakfast (included) is decent but not great.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and is quick and free.
Prices average around €170 (breakfast and city tax included) per room (1 or 2 persons), so slightly expensive in relation to the size of the structure and the room, but the central location weighs and has its cost justified.
Overall, the final judgement is good.

Fresh, but my singel room was the smallest room ever, the sink wasn't even in the bathroom, it was beside the small desk / at the end of my bed… Lucky me I ably sleepy there :) but otherwise good service and in a good location, breakfast was great to.

Very small and not what I expected for the money I paid. It's a very basic place. Not the worst but unfortunately very far from the best. Also found it strange that the toilet is situated in the dining area down stairs. Something I definitely didn't like as its not the most hygienic area for it meaning I never had the chance to eat there. Also quite a walk from the station but the tram dose stop around the corner and it's only 10 minutes if that from Amsterdam Central. The staff were very helpful and friendly but having been to here many times I would say to try one of the hotels looking onto the Amstel, across from the Opera House. The views are great and you can relax as you watch the boats sail along the Canals. The Edon or Hampshire is what I'd go for. Same hotel, two in one realy. A front and back with great acses to everything and a short walk to most sites and Coffee Shops, Floating Flower Market & The ice Bar and pictures are minutes away. Also fast-food and other services close to hand. A Very Beautiful place I would recommend it to anyone. Whatever you want it's only a small walk away. XXX Great for couples and groups of friends. I will be back but Not to Ibis unfortunately.

Excellent hotel very well located in the centre of Amsterdam overlooking one of the canals. It is accessed from the Central station via tram 4 to 20 meters from the hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable. Very good cleanliness and heating. They offer tea and coffee in the room and in the common areas. The Wi-Fi signal at times is weak but good enough to communicate and send photos. The staff were very friendly.

It is a hotel practically "new", however the attention of the staff is very bad. The access to some rooms leaves a lot to be desired, because there is only one elevator that is very far away and hidden. In some hallways of the hotel you have a very strong aroma of marijuana, so it is not advisable if you want to stay with children. The area for breakfast is extremely small, so you need to line up to get a table. I would recommend looking for another alternative before staying here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beverage and snack vending machine in the entrance hall and coffee at will. Room small but very comfortable and well heated and clean nickel!

Excellent location at the end of Utrecht Straat in front of the tram stop where you pass line 4 to the central station. The rooms are very small but there is nothing, good breakfasts and a lot of choice, only basic services but good value for money.

Good place in the heart of Amsterdam. Breakfast was superb too. However the stairs to the top floor were dangerously steep. Doable but a little scary with a large suitcase.

Ibis Styles Amsterdam Amstel is a very modern, clean hotel located in a great location.

Well located, but everything is very small! The room, the bathroom, the breakfast room.

Lovely little hotel with very steep (! ) staircases. Be aware that parking is at the rear of the building, costs €25 per day and you'll need to leave your keys. There's very limited space for parking, so try to pre-book it. The hotel also kept half of our rent for two weeks, so you maybe better off paying in full in advance to secure a discount. It's conveniently located and the breakfast choices are OK too. Not many cereals or vegetarian options though.

Clean and comfortable Hotel. Reception very friendly. Close to everything and especially the neighborhood of Pidj which transports us in the real life of the inhabitants of the neighborhood.

Nice little hotel, good located in the city. Rooms are small but modern. Single beds are very small Some stairs are really challenging… Very steep! But elevator also there, until it breaks down… Breakfast is absolutely sufficient, only one coffee machine…

Great location, friendly receptionists, such steep stairs… Not used to Dutch stairs at all! Good selection of breakfast, very little in the way of hot breakfast although fairly satisfactory. Comfy beds, slightly tougher pillows would be ideal, although couldn't have asked for a comfier bed! Brilliant availability of facilities in the bathroom too, especially the hairdryer!

The stairs are quite steep and even very steep for the 4th floor.

Close enough to the Centre. Rooms clean and renovated rooms, friendly staff courteous. The breakfast is okay prices aligned to a three star hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent position: you can easily get to the main attractions, such as Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank's house and so on. The room was very clean, warm and stylish. The staff was always kind and smiling and the breakfast excellent and abundant.

Location is just outside city center. Reachable by foot or with the tram. Several bars nearby. Rooms are really small (we had a 4-person room) so do not expect any luxury there. Safe available in the rooms. Breakfast was included and ok. Limited parking space at premium price. Overall I would return here because of the price.

Nice staff, clean room, decent breakfast. We had a street window and the traffic sounds are pretty intense during the night if it's hot and you want to sleep with an open window. And yes, the elevator is slooooow. You want to avoid it at all times. When we checked out and was going down with all our bags it took almost 15 minutes to get out of the hotel.

Smelling cigarrets the room. I haven't ordered one for smokers.

It is a nice place to stay in Amsterdam. The hotel uses an old building and it is adapted to a comfortable place to take a rest. Good acoustic and a large room is not the pattern of Ibis, the only thing that probably will make you angry is the speed of its lift, but that was ok for my family and me. In other hand, their breakfast is a point to be highlighted against all other stuff, because it is great. Its location is very good, it is easy to get to central station and airport, by tram or bus. And if you want to have dinner or a beer near to the hotel, you need just to walk around the hotel block and you will find good places to eat and drink.

Nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I got about 4 hours sleep. You can hear people coming and going and noise echos through the whole hotel. I asked to change rooms because of it and 2nd room was no better. Staff were not helpful about the issue.

The room was comfortable and ok. Expensive parking lot! The house is noisy at night while you hear any person on the floor coming or leaving their room; poorly soundproofed. On sunday at 6:30 am there was an alert of a smoke detector in the room besides (I guess someone was smoking in there). Breakfast was sufficient and delicous. The bathrooms are very small; hardly standard. There were some shortcoming things, but all in all it was a pleasant stay. Best is, that you can reach any point of downtown from there by foot. We enjoyed it, but I think next time it will be another hotel in amsterdam.
