Bad value for money, bedding to review… ideal for young people.

The hotel has a very good location in a beautiful street …
Security is given … the police are right next door:-)
The staff are very friendly.
Unfortunately, the rooms are more than simple and have no amenities whatsoever.
The long-distance care was defective. No remote control.
When showering, the whole bath is wet afterwards.
The window could not be closed.
Cleanliness leaves something to be desired.
A problem is safety in an emergency … there is a super steep staircase that leads to the 3 floor … this is at the same time the emergency exit. Very risky and dangerous.
Overall … if you hardly want to spend time in the room it's OK.

The girl on the riception is obviously not in good will works there. At least this impression is created. Came a little early almost together with the hand luggage sent to the street. Supposedly do not leave their belongings. No interest in customers. In general, the first impression of such a reception is not very. The room is small but cozy. Everything is in working condition. Location P. S. Machine took 4 euros for a sprite which never got in my hands.

Good location, ok room but poorly insulated.

Instead of 2 booked beds, we had to pre-empt with 3 en and trickled narrowness … no bedside lamps just a garish ceiling light … Bathroom equipment without any standard: No toothbrushing glasses, no devices for hanging damp towels, no socket in the bathroom, rotten window frames, through which it pulled like pike soup, burst paint, mold corners, lack of hygiene … Shower without sliding device so that the whole bathroom floats … no wardrobe at all. All this qualifies the place to a descent rather than a hotel, not to mention the thin walls and moisture spots on the ceiling! As a hostel, it could go. Compared to other hotels I know from other countries, it doesn't deserve any star … 100 euros for one DZ per night is completely overpriced in view of these conditions! Would someone have to take money in their hands to renovate the outside attractive old canal house in a quality way …

The room itself is ok, the bathroom is not large but for a sufficient stay course.
However the maintenance service is a bit light, not a problem of cleanliness but forget of towels and lack of shower curtain.
The hotel is well located close to the restaurant areas. Also beware the breakfasts are not included but you can take them 5 min walk in the restaurant area.

Nice and cheep place to sleep, but the stairs are really awful, try to book room on the first floor. Oh, and the central reception is in other hotel.

Very low-end hotel.
Wet, tiny (the toilets are practically in the shower), dangerous stairs (raided, without landing in case of fall, endless), poorly insulated, …
Our room had its shower and sink clogged. No responsiveness on the part of the hotel and no commercial gestures.

Although this is relatively cheap, I'm not sure it's worth money. The location is excellent, but it's very rundown, tiny, and the beds have a distinctive tilt.

— luggage storage is a room left available to everyone without supervision
+ the location is ideal.

First there is no parking, so if you came by your car you must put it away in a public parking and it cost about 50 € a day. second service is very poor, rooms are very small and there is no information desk at the hotel if you want to check in you must go to another hotel across the street to do it! That's too strange. I don't know if it's a good idea to have a holiday in that hotel with all this issue. It's your choice at the end.

Disaster! The location is good but the room is too small, very noisy all the time! Shower did not work, not clean, tiny bed, bad mattress and pillow, small stairs and very hard to get to the rooms. No reception, no service, very old and decayed hotel. Don’t book there!

Horrible place! fake pictures! Don't let the fake pictures fool you. They gave us a room on the other side of the street with 20 steps to go up and the funny part was we couldn't even fit our bags in our room. The rooms are super small and Beds are very small. We had no other option to just leave.

Only two stars for the location and how it looks from the outside. The room was hideous! You can't even fit in the bathroom, Lacks freshness.

Small Rooms. Bothroom door wouldnt even close! TV is tiny, no additional utilities whatsoever and more expensive than most decent places in europe.

Small and cosy but the hotel is in decay. It works as long as you aren't too picky.

Very basic but clean room. They could use some new pillows, the one I had was too thick and too hard. It was cheap but it needed to be.

Very small rooms, uncomfortable beds, tiny bathroom you cant even wash your hands, housekeeping services do not work properly, and you dont even have a receptionist at the reception. Mind the impossible extremely stairs, you cannot take your luggage upstairs. Yet very close to Leidseplein just the location is good.

What gives the best rating to this hotel is its location. On the shore of a canal and very close to area with bars and restaurants. Another part that gives you a very good score is that, despite the very central location with very affordable prices. The negative part is that it is very neglected hotel, and with no elevator, which makes it very heavy to climb to the rooms with luggage.

Minimal maintenance, room with a damaged opaque curtain, mattresses in poor condition…

Very much a budget hotel, rooms are small bathroom even smaller, no lift tho the steps are as near to as you could get to a vertical shaft. Place is very tired and could do with a refurb but that all said the staff are very friendly, the rooms clean, beds very comfortable and the location is rather good.

Regular for the price. Dificult stairs, no lift. Small and noisy rooms. Not recomended for handicap or small children.

It was nice hotel normal for amsterdam.

Well located but if you have a top floor to the 2 stairs are difficult.

Came here very cheap, strangely the room was clean and fresh bed sheets couldn't ask for better than that for the price we paid, also English TV.

A cozy and friendly environment. Beautiful location and wonderful views from the window!
