The last November, me and my friend chose to travel like usual in Rotterdam and choose our favourite Hotel — Ibis.
We had booked our trip by the 19th of May until 25th, but for the pandemic (COVID-19) our flight was deleted and it was impossible to travel for us.
We were sure to get a quick and satisfactory response from the hotel but this was absolutely not the case.
After a week of unanswered calls, and hotel operators who told us to send false emails and to call non-existent numbers, we managed to get in touch with the hotel manager.
The answer? The Pandemic COVID-19 it's not a good reason to have a refund of the trip, and we never heard from him again.
They send to us a Coupon for travel again in the same Hotel (oddly less than what we had spent) but we repeatedly specified that it was impossible for us to meet again since we live in different cities.
We had the all refund of flyght and this is the answer of the Hotel in this very drammatic period for everybody.
we never choose ibis hotels in the future.

We were told breakfast would be at 05.00 on 18 6 2018, paid for the room and breakfast.
Arrived downstairs at 04.50 on the 19 6 2018.
05.10 a Dutch family also expecting breakfast at 05.00 asked "where is breakfast"
The guy on reception said not till 05.30, this was not acceptable because my flight was at 07.10.
I went without breakfast.
I will say the two young ladies on reception on the 18 6 2018 were excellent, charming and polite. I had a problem with my TV, went down to reception and asked if I was doing anything wrong. The TV was fixed and working in less than 10 minutes.
