Good location. Dorm very clean and very good price. Worth it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beware however some rooms are struggling to pick up the Wi-Fi from the hotel… We warned the owners of this problem and we were upgraded. Nothing to say about the service.

You got what you paid for. The boss holds a travel agency and is very nice and efficient.

In the middle of Thamel it is very conveniently located. The rooms are clean and inexpensive and the beds good to sleep. Perfect for a couple of nights in Kathmandu.

Went in to have some Momo's. Just tasted ok. Nothing great about this place. We also ordered Veg Thukpa. Was full of noodles and very less vegetables. Taste was good though. Would rate this average.

The rooms are clean. The single bed for double rooms is 340 rupees a night, with separate bathrooms and hot water. The whole is fine, but the waiter's attitude is bad.

Rooms are okay. I didn't like vibe of this place. It seemed really dull. Reception guys were helpful though but there wasn't much of backpacker vibe in place.

Benefit without surprises for a moderate price. The staff is very dedicated. Nevertheless, the rooms are not blameless: hot water absent, taps sometimes capricious.

Its a nice place and within budget. I think it has a good value for money. Plus point is that it is near the cen tral thamel so easy to walk to when you are late hanging out with frens.

Good guest house. Owners were helpful when I had questions. Good location; close to lots of shops, but not so close that it's noisy. Enjoyed my stay here.

Power is iffy at times. Otherwise it was good. Clean and reasonably priced.

Kind service, but bad breakfast, no hot water and a mattress that was impossible to sleep on. The springs were poking through and into our backs.

Centrally located in Thamel. Well managed budget guest house. Great place to meet fellow like minded travellers. Very social and friendly atmosphere. Terrific tranquil roof terrace. Stayed here many times — never had any complaints with my room or facilities. Okay, all except the occasional cold shower! Not really a problem though. I thoroughly recommend Shree Tibet to any traveller.

Dear Surendra It was so great to come back there to Shree Tibet Family Guesthouse. Service is good and staff is kind. Staff picked us up from the airport and they made us feel so welcomed with flowers to our neck. We have never sented so homely atmosphere. They helped us at every problem we had. We have seen a lot of Nepal with your travel agency. At this trip we trekked to Poon Hill and Annapurna base camp. It was so amazing, beautiful and fun with our professional and lovel…y guides, Yaka and Laxman. After Annapurna we went to Dhawa village to make some volunteer work and ended our trip to Namo Buddha monastery where we relaxed very well.
Location of Shree Tibet is great at middle of Thamel. There are many shops and restaurants just nearby. Example Momo Star –restaurant has great momos and cold, good size beer ;). Next year we will be back and start our trip with you. Then we sing again together Resham firiri –song. Shree Tibet is definitely the best guest house I've stayed in in Nepal! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it's hard not to feel like you're at home. The manager, Surendra, is a great manager who will help you out in any way possible from booking flights to tours. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a well located and accommodating stay in the heart of Thamel. 10/10

For your money-a good option. Hot water, free Internet. Of the minuses-the noise at night on the street.

I have been there 2 times, I love this Guest house and all people there, everybody are so frendly, and they really help you, if you need something. I feel like a home there. Thankyou… next time I will come again to Shree Tibet Guest house. Mayby in April…

This is a decent place for the price, good location and the staff are helpful. The hot water is an issue but this is generally the same around Nepal. The room I was in didn't have much light coming through.

You can't trust the people.
