Got a rude response at the very beginning itself. Called at 7:25 morning for booking. The receiver rudely replied (scolded) that I was disturbing her by calling early and it was not the right time! She could have said the same thing politely. Not going there anyways!

An amazing attentive friendly team, with nothing considered too trivial and with an ever present smile. Excellent service and amazing food. The location and views are amazing. Recommended for any length of stay.

Well… I saved like hours of ride to get out Kathmandu to rest a quiet place to relax. I felt like home with all the friendly staffs and vegetation around and beautiful birds. I would like to come back again, whenever I can. Thank you.

After a month of practicing teaching and retreat in the monastery me and my friend were looking for a place to stretching our legs. Therefore we found this place and definitely is a good place to stay if you don't mind to takes a few minutes walk up the hill in which they have not road access. Accommodation were Tremendous really good air quality. The owner built everything by themselves in a very reasonable setting also those couple is some wonderful person to meet.

We just can say enough wonderful things about our stay at Shivapuri Heights! The owners were very personable and helpful in planning day trips around Katmandú and the staff were just amazing. They made our stay so comfortable and anticipated our every need — we could have been content to just stay at the cottage and main house — relaxing, getting massages, reading and exploring their beautiful property where they grew lot of their own food and took such pride in the delicious meals they prepared for us. We felt so at home and welcomed. Would definitely recommend — the weather wasn’t the best for our stay but their cottages were just perfect to enjoy the day at regardless. We loved the feel of being in a country setting yet close to the city.

Shivapuri Heights Cottage is a wonderful place to unwind. The food is terrific and service was outstanding. I stayed in a safari tent and loved it. Comfy bed and high quality bedding. The details were great — woke up early and found a trey of coffee outside my tent.

Great place for outing, near to Kathmandu due to the on going road construction, visitors needs to hike around 15-20mins from the base station. Currently visitors parked their vehicles at Iskon Temple there. Views, organic food and overall hospitality is appreciated.

Good ambience. Beautiful place. Enjoy the ambience n mountain thru here. Feel the nature. A whole house is available for a family or group for camping. Recommended.

An amazing getaway not so far away from kathmandu. Just right for some quiet moment with nature. Well appointed but limited rooms with an eye for detail and also homely living room and dining room. Courteous staff and good food too. That small little jacuzzi pool is something to indulge in. Takes away all your stress and setting is pretty surreal too. Best part is it's doesn't feel commercial at all.

Purely a heaven on earth, must see/visit place… very clean, calm, serene.

Wow! A truly great find… Shivpuri Heights Cottage as the name suggests its perched on top of a hill. In the day time one can simply sit back and enjoy the views, fresh air and sunshine, read a book or go for walks. And yet you would want to get back to the peace and quiet of Shivpuri after spending the day in Kathmandu. Hospitality is second to none… home cooked meals, cosy and comfortable rooms … truly a home away from home! Thanks to our gracious hosts Neeru and Steve Webster. What a lovely place, lovely family atmosphere and great food. All at great price. Will be back again soon and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway from the city.

It's a nice place for chill beer in summer. I think it takes 40 minutes on foot to reach there from micro station and 10 minutes by car. You can see beautifull view of kathmandu valley. The owner of this resort is very friendly and welcoming. You can also see varieties of fruits garden and flowers garden.

Located in the northern hills of Kathmandu. Has typical multi couple family accommodation but unfortunately lacks services for the kids. Staff are friendly and courteous but price is too high in regards to the facilities. All you enjoy is a peaceful Kathmandu suburb and a bonfire in the evening. Restaurant service demands time. Dishes were poor. You can not drive yourself upto the cottage. Didn't enjoy my family night out.

U. Can do lots of outdoor recreational activities. The best part was the. Sprawling garden in the area premises and the lunch. I had the best. Healthy. Lunch. With spring rolls,. Avocado salad,. Etc. The host. Is an. Incredible person to talk with. Love to say again.
