Terrible service… almost that they want to charge you for breathing there, we were going in an all-inclusive plan and it turns out that you did not have a bottle of water, everything they want to charge you. I don't recommend it! 😡
Super recommended excellent installation and service.
I went on vacation with my family and the truth cost us very expensive for what the hotel was and what it offered you. We decided to buy the all inclusive package with 🥤 drinks and meals.
Which the food that came in the package was horrible very poor quality and tasteless. All made to "chingaso" very bad drinks. Whiskey was the cheapest and very ugly liquor.
For what we paid the vdd we thought it would be excellent but it was not so. I hope the hotel makes changes with that and doesn't fool people. The only thing I can say good about the hotel is that the people working in the very friendly. But the hotel needs remodeling and the quality of food change.
Best hotel ever we were just there and may there clean and nice view to the beach and the workers are very nice they help us a lot and the ladies that checked us in sonia are very nice they treated us like home even though there were busy they had time for us I recommend el hotel el cid castilla 💯💯💯👍
I do not fly to this hotel the terrible quality service of the malisima food and you have to be chasing the coffeemakers to be cared for.
Besides I was the victim of theft of my pool cards since I never use them and of which nothing disappeared from my room and at the time of delivery exit they wanted to charge me 4o dollars for each card or by mistake I stop again in that hotel.
Old facilities, dirty and smelly rooms, disgusting bathrooms, Disrespectful with schedules, poor quality food and drinks, nothing recommended sincerely I do not return and the worst we get intoxicated with the very bad food Experience.
Excellent staff, facilities, I had a great time of the best super recommended… beautiful place to rest and vacation.
Terrible service, they charge you everything up to parking, you go in all inclusive plan and they restrict you a lot, beer of terrible quality, to be able to enter with a cooler they charge you mochada, one of the days they made me the toilet of the rooms until 5 in the afternoon, they did not carry the towels, the Jacuzzi was never cleaned, bathrooms in terrible quality, they charge you the Wi-Fi 10 dlls per device, in short the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
Everything they promote is a lie, the service is lousy, they want to charge you for everything, nefarious installations, vile fonda food, there are no activities, according to everything included and restricting everything.
Flat out a bitter experience.
I would never return the rooms smell of humidity, the utensils, dishes and cups to eat well dirty, the truth that experience so horrible would never think of returning.
Definitely recommended, excellent rooms, delicious food reco. Kendo Mexican restaurant, the staff and very friendly staff. The hotel is somewhat old but has excellent conditions and is very careful! I really recommend it.
Excellent service and good treatment, very rich food.
They have VERY GOOD service to be the first time. They give a lot of attention and very good staff slingshot, one serious but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was very good. They have health measures and very parenting activities. I really liked :-D.
Excess guests, the food is not good some that another is rescued but overall I did not like 10 years ago was very good all-inclusive service now did not recommend it or return to this hotel.
Some of the employees are very despots treat you as if they were doing you a favor is the first day of my stay and I am very sorry to have stayed.
I just got there and the truth comes super-deperated. If it is nice but all its services the truth does not the super bad food the drinks equally apart you order and you train whatever your meals want are the same daily there is no varienity the stiff bread the expired yogurt the malicious gallon naranaja juice all bad the truth. The room will tell you that they give it to you at an hour when you almost lose an entire day because they give it to you almost 5 in the afternoon the internet charges 215 dollars per day.
On the beach they take you out at an hour in addition they forbid you to make an atmosphere because the owners of the hotel get angry those of receptionists ssuper sangronas. I really don't go back to the Cid.
SSuper Ugly Ugly.
0% recommended, bar and waiters badly faced and rude, whenever you asked for something they made your faces, they gave you what they wanted, super poorly prepared drinks, only 3 glasses per person when it is an all-inclusive service, the buffet always the same, there were meals that charged apart from what was already paid, the bathrooms in the room always smelled ugly, they didn't clean them, just a super friendly employee, the one who picked up the lounge chairs, his name was Javier, super good people!
but in general I don't recommend it at all!
Very unpleasant stay, I already want it to be the date of leaving and not coming back, very cheap and poor quality food, DO NOT PAY ALL INCLUDED is a scam, there is no cleaning at all, the staff is mostly very rude others! they're just looking for an economic benefit to help you, I don't come back and I would never recommend it.
I had a bad experience at this hotel, 3 hours waiting for my room to be delivered, they don't have free Wi-Fi in the
Lobby, apart they charge you 3 dollars to go to print your recerva so you show it on the phone, the facilities are old, too noisy, offer all-inclusive packages and when you arrive they charge you more than 70 dollars per extra person… you have to book the restaurants, and you're on a tireless waiting list. So it's an all-inclusive falsehood, I really don't recommend it for any of the worst places I've ever been.
This super amazing, very friendly, many restaurants, super good.
Excellent service list to return.
Excellent service and lovely view.
Excellent treatment by all staff.
Wonderful, friendly, accommodating staff and atmosphere!
Lousy service, bad hygiene, reserve 2 nights, 3 days and in 24 hours we leave the premises. Roaches in the room and an unpleasant odor. Restaurant service poor.
Great staff so much fun can’t wait till January.
Excellent service in all aspects.
Excellent service, and very nice hotel.
This is absolutely the best hotel with great all inclusive. Ramon and Cesar at the pool bar will make you wish never to leave. You must try the Shrimp burger. They would have 10 Stars!
El servicio pecimo era todo incluído y los meseros tienen un trato muy feo kieren propinas pero no sé las ganancias vdd es q el trato orrible.
All inclusive, great swimmingpools, activities and fun for everybody in the family, wide variety of food for every taste.
The food is good, the attention good but the thing that they don't have Wi-Fi service and want to make you pay 10 usd per day, that's what you pay in a month of cell phone data. It's the first time I've ever had it in an "all inclusive" hotel or in this category.
This was a last minute Mazatlan vacation using points traded through RCI. I called the resort directly from USA to discuss wheelchair access because in third world countries, accessibility is typically much more difficult. Arriving at the airport, the Hotel representative met us with a taxi to take us directly to the hotel. We opted out of the sales presentation offer and we're not over-pressured to change our mind. The 18th floor room was very nice, right on the water with a nice patio and a great view of the ocean and surrounding areas. Only problem, I couldn't fit my wheelchair through the bathroom door. The bellhop Juan (Choco) measured the width of my wheelchair and went on a mission. We enjoyed the bottle of wine and some delicious complementary morsels from the kitchen delivered while we waited and then We actually took a nap in one of the beds until he came back a few hours later, telling us he has a room. The new room was off the charts. Almost as big as my house. Two large bedrooms, 3 full baths and a complete kitchen. Extra extra large living room and dining room. We went to the grocery store and bought lots of groceries for cheap and saved a ton of money by cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. The balcony was humongous and since it was almost the top floor, we had complete privacy ;-). Employees were everywhere and always smiling and friendly and helpful. Especially getting me out of the pool and back into my wheelchair.
It is a quiet and excellent place, to relax and enjoy beautiful and unforgettable holidays. And present a unique and irrepetible show every day. Really, one is with a desire to return and enjoy your rica kitchen and the warm and amable treatment of your people.
This very well have excellent service, the rooms are very large and have everything "basic" necessary to make a good holiday and the location is super you have many things nearby.
Low its quality, price against service policies is not fair, besides that it has no beach on which you can enjoy your stay. I give him the star for waitress service like the button. Otherwise it leaves a lot to be desired by the CID hotel. I don't think I'd stay in it again. Also that some rooms are already old and with uncomfortable mattresses, I repeat the price is not fair for what they provide.
We are here waiting fir a 25-minute massage my son won in a contest during the Mexican celebration at the theater. It is a very exclusive place with gym, spa, restaurant and a 20+ golf holes. They even have cooking lessons. My son and I tried the sushi bar but did not like it. The sashimi was good but who can mess up the miso soup?
All the employees are very friendly, throughout the hotel they take great care of the cleanliness and the atmosphere is very familiar. The meals have very good taste, many options and different restaurants. There are different pools, all clean and very spacious, for children and adults.
Worst service ever. Lack of maintenance on rooms. Bad attitude from employees at pools. Some employees with an exvelente sense of customer service to solve issue, but at the end of the day unnecessary issues. Excellent valet parking. Security servives at poor trainiing. At tbe beeach some hotel guests smoking seed weed next to my children, reported to guards with no action, totally unacceptable. Wiill go back to Pueblo Bonito definitely.
I stayed in Cid Marina, but since the transport is free to the others, I went to know. It's a good option to change a little. The beach is reduced but the pool is nice and the attention is very good.
Very nice. Enjoyed quieter adult pool. Good food particularly in specialty restruants. Nice beach with nice soft sand. Good entertainment.
The service is empecable. Staff makes you feel at home. Rooms are comfortable and "homey". Cleaning service available and great. Wonderful location, near beach and nice instalment of pool and great features.
This my second time going to this resort. The first time was excellent and so was the second. The resort is beautiful, with breathtaking views of the beach, pools and city of Mazatlan. This is a family, friend, or couples resort. Daytime activities and live entertainment. Highly recommend, big thumbs up!
Every time I visit El Cid Restaurant, the service is exemplary and the food is delicious. It is buffet style, but an excellent array of food. Always fresh, hot, and clean. I would highly recommend this place to anybody that asks me about it.
At this time I find myself in the pool of the hotel I asked for a simple service just a few nachos and a couple of beers and nothing more than an hour and I reminded the waiter and nothing even in a bad way answered, I ask the I have to paint the dark skin or blonde hair To be cared for or as it is done.
Me and my family had so much fun! The service was really good. It's a perfect resort to bring kids, with the pools, the kids club and teens club my nephews had a blast!
It is a very nice and clean hotel. We were given a room where the A/C wasn't cooling and they switched our room fast. We had a family room for six and it was perfect for five of us. There was a room with two beds and the living room had a sofa bed. The kitchenette had everything we needed as well.
The worst hotel where I have been, poor service, bad treatment to the tourist, poor quality food I will NEVER RETURN, it did not recommend a shame that they treat the tourist badly in addition to the poor and old facilities.
Very nice. Comfortable, so far. Only I was provided only with a Wi-Fi Internet key, to use on a single device, if I use it in 2 it will be disabled. The menu type Buffet is very complete, the taste is good. At another time I will try the special menus and comment on how they were.
Hotel that is in the golden Zone of Mazatlan. Extended, very comfortable, has restaurant, swimming pools (for children and adults), free parking, elevator, room service. Highly recommended to go to this hotel. I Advise to make reservation for high season and so not to have unforeseen. To finish a recognition to the staff of the hotel for the kindness and dedication they put to their work.
Pretty good hotel with good food and entertainment. Where it shines though are the two pools and beach. There are two pools one for adults which is deep and has a bar attached, and one for kids with a small water slide, jumping point, and nets and balls to play games with.
Fabulous, elegant, sophisticated.
The best hotel in Mazatlan definitely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The spaces are wide. The views to the sea are spectacular.
Fantastic experience! Great service & so much to do! The staff was amazing! Beautiful place to stay with darling families everywhere! We Loved it! ♡
Great pool and great location. Rooms are a little dated and the buffets were ok. The beach is beautiful and clean. Also there was always a ton of beach chairs available around the pool. Hidden gem.
The Moro was a beautiful place. The beach and pools were fantastic. Mazatlan is beautiful… The people made you feel at home. Your needs were met sometimes before you knew you had a need. Awesome.
Everything was absolutely great if you go all inclusive the food could be better, if you like buffets it's right up your alley. The waiter staff and all employees super super friendly. I highly recommend the El cid El moro beach Mazatlan!
Excellent… Only the area to register is a little slow. Should improve this aspect.
No fitness room for all its guests, the breakfast buffet was good the 1st day, bad organization.
The attention leaves much to be desired… The service bar has the drink **** limited *** in spite of having paid for all inclusive. The food with a menu raquitico and unsatisfying… I Expected more
The only thing good are the rooms clean.
A family hotel… Very active and attentive staff. Fun activities. Excellent food and above all a beautiful hotel.
The facilities were very good and the food was excellent but the Mesros to wish not cater only cater to gringos that's the only bad thing we saw.
The only thing I do not like is that they do not vary the food of the buffet, always the same, but from there in more all excellent.
Excellent HOTEL, There are too many restaurants, some you have to book, others not, but if you book for the night, It's a la Carte.
They have different activities, for example, to make pilceras, the war of the 300 balloons, fitness in the pool, among many Others.
It is very friendly all the workers of the Place.
They have 3 swimming pools, some with a progressive height, that is to say that the more you get, the Deeper.
My experience at that hotel was excellent.
Exceeded my expectations! Excellent service. The beach and clean pools. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It would improve the domestic drinks and the noise of the beach in the Evenings.
Rooms well, varied food per day, lots of pools, family atmosphere, employees were friendly all the time.
It's nice and they have good staff, the only thing I don't like is that, being a family hotel, we couldn't stay with the kids at the bar after 8pm and they had no choice but the Restaurant.
Clean rooms, lots of local tourists. Many activities close by. Pool is great. Bar and food staff are helpful. Only negative is in 3 days I have been asked 7 times to sit through a time share presentation.
Bad information to Guests.
The maintenance to the pools make it day, terrible.
Food without Flavor.
In high season the service is Terrible.
Home away from Home. We love El Cid we are kind of married to it due to having time share Family there. But the staff food drink amenities cleanliness and constant upgrades make it a wonderful place to come back to year after year.
Very good. The pool was very spacious and the food was great. Excellent deal.
The hotel is over esteemed me is expertise was regular. I have stayed with the all inclusive and only room. The all inclusive does not apply in all the food that you offer in the cards and you are limited to only the buffets and certain meals a la carte of the specialty Restaurants. It is very annoying that the waiters are late in attending it seems that there is never enough staff and if you have the activity to go for your drink the bartender will not serve you more than 2 drinks plus it is not pleasant to handle hours so early in the pool Bars. And it makes me very bad that you can not book the same day in specialty restaurants and I replied that the reservation has to be made a day before and do not have the Cortecia to offer options Available.
Lovely hotel. Beautiful views, great location in the Hotel Zone (easy to get to the Gold Zone), lots of activities and tours available. Only gripe: unbelievably inconsistent temperature in the shower!
My wife and I stayed here the winter of 2018 for 1 week. Quite an amazing complex! A combination of several hotels, a golf course with tennis courts, and a marina, there is a lot to see and do. We chose an oceanview apartment and were so surprised that not only could we view the ocean out the back balcony, but we could also view the city out of the front balcony. Just walking around the complex, with a nice skywalk across the busy street, was a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. We discovered a little secret, that the part of the resort, complete with pool and restaurant, away from the beach across the street was nice and quiet, if you like that.
Every time I come back with my family it's like being in my house in Mazatlan. Excellent services and all the staff is to make your stay something to enjoy to the Maximum.
For the past 4 years we have stayed at the El Cid Castilla Beach and every time we stay is an experience in itself. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. The food is what you would expect a resorts food to be like and the rooms are comfy.
Very clean nice maintained beach front property, staff are really great & perfessional; I know many already mentioned but free or cheaper Wi-Fi should be provided. Food are overall too salty to our liking, some days were fine, some days were uneatable. Very easy access to Golden zone or big market by bus. We definitely recommend for people look for great value.
I will definitely go back to this place again. It was extremely clean. Easy to get around. Staff are very accommodating. 4 a la carte restaurants to pick from and no limit as to how many times you visit them. The pools are great and the food was good.
It is a place with facilities of the 70s, 80s, however, their activities are somewhat boring. And the rooms also need to cool off. The room assigned to me smelled constantly damp.
Very bad service. They sold our rooms and offered us an elite service in another of their hotels. Not fair, we come a group of 20 people for this bad experience even paid in advance…
After the bad experience things changed for good by the excellent Tino of Lic. Juarez and his team of collaborators, achieving to meet our expectations.
Thanks Claudia, Gisela and Mauricio.
El CID is one of my favorite hotels in Mazatlan for the excellent service, the beautiful facilities and the deliciososas meals and drinks, it has room service and I recommend the all Inclusive plan ELITE has an approximate cost of $300 per person per night But it varies depending on the season but you can enjoy better drinks. Speaking of Horseshoe, Buchanan, Redlabel among others and apart beer boat, you have access to all CID including the CID marina, you can ask the same hotel transportation to the said hotel, has free room service among many other benefits Super Recommended!
Excellent attention. Very elegant place to stay during your holiday. Giant pool, good food and entertainment for the whole family… Your kids will love it!
Make reservations at the all inclusive restaurants each night, they are much better than the buffet!. Also, bring smal American bills — as many 1's and 5's as you can. Hard to exchange American money for more American money and not pesos. Stores in hotel are great! Pool was warm, fishing excursion was fun but only 4 small fish caught. All in all… wonderful place and safe! Btw: if you eat the buffet I suggest breakfast! Crepes and omelets are to die for! Great service all around. ❤
Second time back at Mazatlan and nothing has changed… which is a good thing. Always enjoy the amount of foods available and vicinity to urban activities. Wonderful and helpful staff keep the facilities clean, while providing an excellent experience.
A hotel with great concern to serve its customers with an extraordinary quality in its services at 100%, both in the rooms and in its restaurants. We had a great fun. We'll be back soon! Send us good promotions.
This is my 15th trip to Mazatlan and my 3rd year staying at El Cid El Moro. We haven't had a single complaint yet. Our kids love the pool and spend most of the day jumping off the cliff. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner has always been great. We typically go out for dinner but on occasion eat dinner at one of the hotel restaurants. The waiters are fantastic. If you tip them well they'll treat you like a king. We come back every year and have no intentions of staying somewhere else.
Nice place only has a but when you do the reservations you get a price either by phone or Internet and when you get to the counter you get the room they want and at a much very high price the truth the rooms are not worth it, they lack toilet in the bathrooms also in how much attention is excellent with their staff I was sad a room smelling of old, humidity and the stained bedspreads looked a room of 2 stars The truth I do not think back to return for it is not cheap how nice is in the EDI Benefit and its facilities hurt by their rooms should take care of that.
I've never been to such a horrible place. They let the dogs into the beach. Pool dirty and full of potatoes, sodas and food, do not restrict the entrance with food to the pools, nor dress regime and enter even with denim. Em FIN, a spa any one is a thousand times better. HORRIBLE Don't spend your money.
Excellent place. The food and attention of your staff very well. The facilities of the resort are also good. Definitely an option to return every visit Mazatlan.
The reservation of my room was made with 4 months in advance and it was not the one I ordered besides that it was dirty and the next day I was recently moved from room. My husband was served a drink in a dirty glass and when we complained not even apologized also that the liquor they serve is not good quality. To end up in their Japanese food restaurant they didn't wait for me to close the place and they started fixing the tablecloths that were on the floor while my husband and I were having dinner next to them.
This place is awesome! The rooms are spacious, clean and updated. The location is excellent; very easy to walk out resort to local restaurants and bars. The staff is outstanding! The only complaints I would have is only one bar open at night and there was some construction off the lobby area but is to be expected for an older hotel. Definitely would go back!
Very nice and nice place. Really if you rest, the atmosphere very familiar, the staff of cleanliness, reception very friendly, nothing more than most of the waiters if they are very clowns ask them something and it seems that they are giving it to him especially those that are in the bars of the pools, they do a lot of discrimination with one as Mexican, because with the gringos they walk behind them all the time.
I'll be back in May, I'll take dollars if they treat me better.
The restaurants La Cascada and La Concha buenisimos.
I recommend that they grab all inclusive packages.
Great and casual all-inclusive food and great service. All staff were very nice and a great thanks to the entertainment team for fun at the pool, and for fun at the entertainment shows at night. We loved the buffet restaurant tried some of the other restaurant, and liked the Italian restaurant as well. We had a super great time and would love to come back.
Great place to visit, will not hesitate to book and stay there again with friends and family had a lovely time services staff with excellent use from rooms were beautiful. Food was refreshing and drinks were plentiful. Swimming pool with excellent water always clean and clear tiles were always readily available. Overall excellent experience.
It has many facilities and activities that you can do in the different hotels that are distributed in places like the Marina, the moor, grenades, etc.
There are also several restaurants and live shows. The food is very varied and the atmosphere very nice. The service is excellent.
It would be 5. If not the lack of free Wi-Fi.
Is this all included?
Super casual all-inclusive. Food and service are pretty good. Pools are awesome for kids. Beach is nice, drink service is great if you tip (which you should — it's clear that everybody here works hard to keep things clean and organized). Make reservations at the restaurants early, so as to avoid dinner buffet lines. Rooms are underwhelming — just adequate, everything works though, and great showers.
As a family resort, this place was lacking. Maybe I'm spoiled because I've only ever been on cruises and this was my first time at a resort, but I was very disappointed. The food was lacking — very bland and the beans of all things were very watered down. Also, I'm a vegetarian and there was very little that didn't have meat or fish in it. The customer service at the resort was very poor. A group of 30 of us came in for a destination wedding and different families came at different times so we ended up in all parts of the resort and varying floors which was fine except they put a single woman in our group on a floor all alone and wouldn't move her. I was deeply disappointed at how they treated the bride and groom. They got zero special treatment. The beds were horribly uncomfortable (only 1 person in our group got a nice bed) and they tried to charge the groom $100 (yes, DOLLARS — not pesos) to borrow a wheelchair to help his mom to her room. There were 2 couples who upgraded and had features that were better like adult only areas so they enjoyed themselves, but for a family, this is not a recommendation I would give if you're looking for something elite.
Excellent atmosphere food excellent staff very attentive. Cleaning…
Comfortable rooms.
Excellent service.
Nice rooms and good access to the beach. The restaurant staff at the main dining room are attentive and friendly. Good selection and variety of food at the buffet daily. Nightly entertainment.
It's a nice hotel. Nice cozy. The staff is friendly and the cost is excellent in relation to what you get. I recommend that if you stay in the moor know the other parts of the hotel but exclude a little food in other places like the hotel Castilla (although it is good the moor is superior) What if it is not advisable is to eat in the pomegranate the attention is lousy and the E Mpleados are bloody. In fact it is paradoxical that your host is the one who treats you lousy service in both Bon Horu and the courtyard. On the other hand the waterfall very good, and the shell exceptional. They are very nice complexes with many amenities try to try the all inclusive plan.
It is located in the center of the golden Zone and a few minutes from the Malecon, the location is perfect, the hotel staff is very attentive and from which you arrive you feel accompanied, is highly recommended, the food well, and has the plus to be able to book in their restaurants Espe Cialities Unlimited, the rooms are simple but comfortable and with good views, in general I recommend quite.
Excellent choice and good location.
It is a very nice place when you can talk avou of bussines and enjoy a nice food and drink. It is wonderful.
Perfect place for distraction, relaxation and rest, take the all inclusive plan to take advantage of the facilities to the maximum. Food, drinks, pools, beach, live shows and more activities are available.
Spacious rooms. All-inclusive — which includes house drinks. Hospitable staff (some still learning English). Daily entertainment. Two large pools — one for activities and children; one quieter, for adults. Enjoyed my stay.
Very good event, thank you very much for everything.
Excellent location, excellent facilities, attention and cleanliness. Everything to spend a few days of rest and relaxation without having to leave the hotel. Take the all Inclusive plan!
It is a Mazatlan icon hotel and it is well preserved, good facilities, clean and with a variety of restaurants. A very large pool by the sea.
AVOID THE JAPANESE RESTAURANT! They're rude, they don't bring your food, and they make up rules after the fact. "We know we never brought your soup, salad, or most of your rolls, but you can only order 1 starter, main, etc per person". The more you order, the smaller they make it. They impose 90 min limit on dining, but can't bring all for food in that time! Otherwise good all inclusive. Several pools, lots of beach. There's both a couple buffet as well as some ala carte dining options you must book ahead of time. The short order station is always the best choice at the buffet. Eggs to order, waffle/crepe, tacos, etc.
Immediately after being corrected some details that made the start of my stay out unpleasant I changed my mind about it. The attention given to the different places from the pool and restaurant area was excellent. The different shows they presented each day made it more enjoyable to eat and enjoy the variety of the buffet. And the activities in the pools very entertaining. All very well, just please change the beds of the 1629!
Not a star deserve, lousy service, since you arrive at the reception are with their jeta, arrive at 10 in the morning and gave me room until 4, I gave it dirty to top, and the. Hard and old uncomfortable bed, the room smells bad, talk to me to bring a quilt and never arrived, I asked to change the room because it is Super uncomforting and tell me to wait until 9 to bring me a mat, not fair was not 2 pesos that I co Braron. Don't visit this crappy hotel.
I appeared very nice the Hotel, comfortable and very confortable the Deluxe room, very nice and large had kitchen and everything you need. The only thing is that it is ugly to arrive they want to sell you timeshares. Removing that I really liked the Hotel. The all inclusive plan is worth it.
Clean, nice pool and of course right on the beach. But all week has been confusing and we get a different answer to every question every person we ask. It’s like no one knows what is going on. I will say our maid Lourdes was amazing and so nice. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything was nice when we got back. Never any shortages of towels or bathroom products. But as far as some other interactions went… We called the front desk for a knife to cut limes in our room and it took an hour and a half and five phone calls to get the knife. The “full kitchen” is kind of a joke. The stove is old and doesn’t work well and there wasn’t even the before-mentioned sharp knife or even a spatula. No salt and pepper either. The pull out bed is not comfortable. I mean pull outs are never great, but this one was extra rough. We asked about the different “dinner and show” nights they have and no one seems to know what night is which theme. But I will say if you can figure out which night is the traditional Mexican fiesta night when you’re here, it’s really cool and has good food! Open bar too. The drinks are weak, so make sure to order an extra shot to add to it. We went to one of their sale pitch things to buy as a timeshare and they said it would be no pressure and only take about an hour. Two plus hours later and a lot of pressure… we were very aggravated. I wouldn’t buy this place as a timeshare though, is the bottom line. But the city is a great place to visit.
One of the vacations to remember. We book through RCI for moro tower, but they didn't have room available, so they put us at castilla tower. The room we got was in the 16th floor with views to the ocean and city. The all inclusive is well worth buying, you don't even need your wallet, except for tipping, that's the key to exceptional service, keep tipping $20 to $50 pessos every other drink and you don't even have to ask to bring you another, you actually have to tell them to stop. The 2 buffet at the castilla tower were some what good, the staff were wonderful but the food was okay, The shows and pool entertainment was fun, you don't have to participate if you don't want. The Italian, the Argentinean and the Mexican restaurant were more than expected, you would think you would get low quality food since your all inclusive, but the steak, the shrimp and the appetizer were some of the best I tasted. The only downside is when you check in they sign you up for a time share meeting, they give you free gifts and drinks so you can sing up, Its not mandatory to do it. But if you do do it get ready to pay over 50k for a timeshare.
Great hotel and great food. Breakfast could do with some bacon, but everything else was really good.
Great room and view from the balcony was ok. Breakfast buffet was very good but not as good for lunch or dinner.
A very nice and nice place, very good attention!
It has an excellent service, the room was clean and comfortable, the pool, the beach club and the activities were great. The thing that I didn't like too much was the food, I expected better dishes.
Muy buen lugar para vacacionar, las habitaciones son buenas, están comunicadas en caso de que vayan en familia, las instalaciones super limpias y el área de la alberca excelente.
Bad attention from the reception, it does not clarify doubts. The building lacks maintenance, it is not clear the difference between the hotels and creates discrimination. He commented to the receptionist respect the Moscos and did nothing. Lack of cleanliness and kindness. Not advisable.
Very good place, highly recommend it.
The hotel was very good stay, very professional like its workers, the rooms very clean and arranged the bars with good strong drinks.
I like the service. The resort is excellent. The people was very friendly especially Ana at the front desk. Everyone was very helpful.
Do not try the speed boat rides. They miss-sell the title and scam customers. I paid 4500 peso for 2 hrs. And was told by this Guy Angel that we would get 2 hrs. Clarified that the time starts when we get in the boat and ends when we get out. So when we reach we are told that we will be going into the ocean and then into the marina to see iguanas. Had a good time but then we find out that we came back early 20 mins. When asked the guide he didn't respond but instead he then asked for a tip?!? When we spoke with Angel he claimed we were not supposed to have the second trip into the marina and it was a favour. Now which if anyone takes a speed boat, you would expect to go speed and one must be really stupid to ride it at 5 on per hr. Not only were we brought back 20 mins early we find out, we really missed out by another 40 mins as we came to the marina for a stop to the bathroom at 1:24pm and hr after the speeding in the ocean to go to the marina @ 5 km per hr. Worse we are told we are liars when we have spent over £2000 over 3 days leave the hotel fees and getting here. Do not trust these "trips".
The place was awesome. We were pleased with the service and the hotel itself was nice too.
Nice, good prices, good beers, nicely Girls.
Although the hotel feels a bit old (no important updates since the 90s) the quality of service and attention was impecable. Food and beverages we're good without being exceptional. Accomodations are comfortable, sharing the same traits as the hotel. However facilities (bathrooms, pool area) have been updated and are quite well.
Cursed the day we entered this place!
Los cuartos climatizados dia y noche, excelente servicio y limpieza pero las televisiones tienen todos los canales en ingles sin subtitulos, es una travesía averiguar como moverle, por lo demas esta excelente.
Very rich all, excellent taste.
It is a good hotel, the facilities are nice although something old. The suites of Castile are so spacious and have a good view. The all inclusive is not so advisable, the food and drinks are good but not excellent for their price.
Excellent service, located near the beach. At this time the street is in repair but in a few months it must be all recovered. The rooms are very comfortable and close to the hotel there is a place called Pronatour where you can buy the rides and they pass by you to the hotel.
Totally disappointing this hotel. They get expensive and really have nothing to offer, the rooms and old furniture, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, the elevator 8 days in repair. This was the last year I stayed in this hotel.
Very clean. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Food and drinks are top notch.
Good hotel, excellent! First attention, good for the staff, (Diana greetings) The varied foods and with very good seasoning, good chef, a spectacular view from the room. Congratulations! And see you next time!
A truly breathtaking resort. My friends and I had an amazing time you have to check this resort out you will not be disappointed. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite at no additional cost. They accommodated us as there were no available adjoining rooms at check-in. After we saw the suites we fell in love with them an did not care about being on different floors. I would highly recommend this place. It's in a central location the beach and pools are breathtaking.
Staff reliable and helpful. Cleanliness good. Food is reliably good. Theme nights get repetitive if you're there more than 7 days. Watch out for time-share salespeople. They sit opposite the check-in desk and grab starry-eyed newbies. Sitting in the beach front restaurant from open to close is a great way to spend the day. Order a CC & C. Si. :)
Im in love with this place, make me want to move here. Wheelchair friendly, everyone and I mean everyone is really nice and helpful, quick to help you in anything you need. All series were nice. Highly recommended it great for couples on their honey moon, wedding, couples with kids. There is a day care for kids over 4 years old. Always having activities for adults and kids, in hotel live theaters.
The workers are so friendly, and they try sooo hard! Food is fantastic!, they have a impressive selection of activities for your young kids and teens, and even plenty of activities for the adults; pool volleyball, water exercise, water balloon fight, the area is really beautiful and surrounded by shops of all sorts! There's nothing bad I can say about it other then the ocean is a little cold, but the pools are all amazing! (Tip of advice) if u want to get a pool chair, you might want to go a bit early, or else they'll be gone.
Food facilities, a varied buffet menu, boasts restaurants of different types of food, sushi bar, Argentine courts, thematic buffet. Extensive areas common and a good view to the sea, club de yates, field of golf, spa and gym.
First time I visit mazatlan. It's nice, but the hotel left me much to talk about. The service is very bad, never attended I voluntarily always had to find someone. The waiters are rude and treat Safar's work. The general staff of animations and activities are very well. I had a very bad experience that leaves me no desire to return. Rooms are old and somewhat dirty, arriving there were hairs in my bed. Miss that we attended in customer service was rude, we cry and not wise to explain. Every day I had a bad experience with this hotel. Not alone the theft of lounge chairs at the pool. The food is good, but the drinks prepared for nothing are shambles. I do not recommend it for anything.
Kid friendly, safe, relaxing, lots of activities, good restaurants, clean accommodations.
The room I'm staying is quite small but it has TV and air conditioning so it's okay, the pools are big and warm and the bar has many drinks to offer.
Super special hotel good service I love be ahy with my family.
El servicio estuvo muy muy bien.
Great place to spend a holiday without a doubt: very good, excellent food and clean rooms, in addition to the views offered to the city and the sea.
I would book into this place without thinking twice about it.
The most remarkable is its friendly staff.
Located in the Golden zone of Mazatlan, is a huge, perfect and ideal place for a plan of beachfront vacation, with all the amenities that a hotel can offer. Packages all inclusive make it does not want to leave the hotel for nothing, its beach is very clean, are the swimming pools of various depths and beautiful, the restaurants have delicious food if you plan all inclusive you can enjoy a meal in either, you can also make reservations in specialty restaurants and love them. If you don't plan all inclusive you can pay certain amount for the buffet or you can eat à la carte. Employees are warm, very helpful and always greet you with a smile and look for your well-being.
the rooms are spacious, have a great view, with everything you need for your rest, and nothing better than sleeping with the open curtain and let the light of dawn you wake up. It is certainly a place to which I return often. That if, taking into account that the zona dorada this far from the hotel and consider hiring a service of transport to avoid paying a lot for a taxi. As a tip, take a tour in pneumonia or aurigas, are very pleasant experiences.
Food facilities, a varied buffet menu, boasts restaurants of different types of food, sushi bar, Argentine courts, thematic buffet. Extensive common areas and a good view to the sea, yacht club, golf course, spagetti and gym.
The people workin the hotel were the best. They were there to help n attend to any need. The food n hospitality were great. First time we've gone on vacation n actually relax, great job, El Cid castilla is the best!
Very bad experience since hired del moro "that because was going to be better than the ILC Castilla and turns out it was the same but more expensive and worse because room smaller bad service by waitresses since they don't the service well never changed me the bed linen my daughter spotted the quilt and they just turned it, and they did not change it" the waiters serve you when he gives them the win, buttons see you these carrying heavy suitcases and even acomiden to help, there is much discrimination with Mexican guests, all they crave on serving foreigners apart hotel has several "all-inclusive" and it is that you don't have s all right to pay more for nothing. That bad experience… do not recommended it.
Excellent week at El cid. All the help was great. The buffets could stocked sooner, bacon and fruit. Juan who is one hardest workers at castilla. He is all over from the pool area to the lobby. We will back next year.
I just love staying at the El Cid! All the staff is so attentive & friendly. There are multiple El Cid locations in Mazatlán and the Granada is in the lively El Zono Oro.
Very old hotel. We had to change rooms because we had a sink that leaked all over the floor. The next room one day we were without cold water for six hours. No toilet! No apologies or anything! The food was not the best! Watch out! All inclusive doesn't really all inclusive! You get charged for making coffee in your room!. Some of the restaurants were off limit unless you bought the elite plan. The wait staff at the pool was very friendly! I will never return!
The best nachos in Mazatlan sold here.
Super special hotel good service I love be ahy with my family.
Stayed a week, was dirt cheap, access to the other el cid properties, had a great time for the money. Food and drinks were good. Too many people are expecting a 5 star experience when you are paying 2 star money and leave a bad review. Good value for the $
Excellent hotel and staff. My family has been going to Mazatlan for almost 20 years, the last 7 at the El Cid Castilla but unfortunately they have raised the prices to a point we can no longer justify the cost. We can go for two weeks to Riviera Maya for almost the same price as at the El Cid. Very sorry not to be able to go this year. I will miss the people and atmosphere of Mazatlan very much but with the lower cost of oil/gas you cannot tell me those prices are justified. They are slowly killing tourism in Mazatlan.
Excellent Hotel, excellent restaurants and meals, the service of the staff is great. 100% recommended!
Im from las Vegas One of the best hotels in Mazatlan, both service and convenience that they offer on arrival certainly recommend it if you want to feel at home is the best you will find,
Good value. The buffet food is pretty good. They have heated pools. It's close to malecon.
Very vonito treatment excellent place.
Very very awesome. Good food, good treatment all good… to go back,,, good price…
I encantoo and gone, I very much like the cid Castilla.
Really missing mycho to rener the level of attention to client that has the cid riviera maya, if you don't tip you gave from the beginning to the waiters don't atendian and as we were all inclusive plan the treatment was not good, for example in the Cid riviera maya jsmas we made a difference with customers "millionaires" and in this castile so we are told, with all his words "the jacuzzi is only for millionaires" by God that not all of us pay, we also had a convention of the religion of adventintas and and used two of the restaurants tes days with vegetarian food… and the other eestaurantes was only with prior appointment total pff not my stay was not good, although it is worth noting that your restaurant Italian and japanese excellent service.
We went on a family plan and we loved it ALL, their food, their facilities, and especially the super-friendly staff all super amanles, would are thinking about it — FFE SALTILLO.
Lousy… I'm disappointed of the hotel, very poor care, the food are not the 2 to 4 hours, minus the drinks, the all inclusive is not all inclusive, if you are coming to mazatlan with an all-inclusive in this hotel be prepared to eat chicken and egg all day… Or for error return here… Very bad.
Almost everything is excellent except the restaurant Alcazar where is lousy care where we made a reservation we arrived at the indicated time we sat down and it took more than 40 minutes in the interview. Nothing to do with the other restaurants in the hotel as the Waterfall, Pergola, Alambra, where the attention is, first, a recognition for the waiters, Miguel, Rigo, christian.
Excellent service, cool staff. The pool was awesome. The only things that I didn't like were crappy rooms the air condition didn't work. The room was not good.
It is a disgusting hotel… I stole 2 chains and 2 rings of the room, and when I checked the cameras, the only one that I walk away from us was the maid and or so were made responsible by that she said that I am not looking for anything… I just hope that they serve something that hisieron that this is why you should hire people you trust… the truth is not what I would recommend I take a bad image of the "lujisimo" hotel el CiD.
A weekend of unparalleled. We will come back soon!
I simply loved it. ❤
Very good hotel, the food and their services are of good quality, and its calides services is the best.
We went on family the last week of April, all the service and attention excellent, a congratulations to Omar at the reception and mr Roberto Keller in service in the restaurants of the hotel, in general we were made to feel at home, IF you come BACK! Thanks.
Regular, to accept a boat ride is to accept an invitation more than an hour to buy a timeshare is of weba. The all inclusive does not include the cafe of the room is poor (charge).
The best to go to maza.
Of the good the best, it is worth it, an unforgettable experience.
This hotel is great
with my family bn, also the shows did I spend very of the
restaurant are great, but the downside is that they are in English,
do not miss you anything, this miy well, and have everything.
Hi I am 11 years old and I've come to tell them that El Cid Castilla Beach is an excellent hotel, very friendly 5 star and your service is very friendly, this hotel has it all, my family and I stayed from 22 to 26 December 2014 and I mean that the balcony view to the sea and their pool is the best, I can't believe as they did a hotel giant ta 5 stars, I want to send a complaint because its internet service is very expensive for day $100, the other hotels its internet service is free, I'd like if they could fix the price of $100-free please. Excellent hotel.
Excellent service. The very rich food: 3 have a 10:D.
Hello I am a boy of 13 years to my megusta is best than eseen with view to the Sea failed just water but there is on is very comforting.
I spent it very well in the company of my family, we had fun. We stayed from 6 to 9 Nov. The only thing not me rgusto is that the water of the swimming pools very cold, if they arranged that for my would be perfect, but I highly recommend it and of course that I will return to go.
Very nice hotel at Mexico.
It is a wonder in a summary delisiosa food in the bufett I highly recommend it.
It's an aging hotel in a neighborhood that is run down. You are constantly harassed by vendors on the beach and time-share solicitors everywhere you go. It seems the hotel's prime objective is to sell you a time-share (Don't sign up. You'll regret it. ) There are new and wonderful resorts in Mexico. This isn't one of them.
I felt privileged to stay at El Cid castilla Resort. In the. " Golden zone" downtown. Mazatlan. The building has weathered 30 yrs. Very well. All workers/employees were very helpful and friendly.
I bought an El Cid timeshare that ran for 20 years. After about 10 years the maintenance fee was so high it was costing me money to keep this timeshare. I wrote multiple emails to the company asking that my contract be terminated. I stopped using the timeshare and before I knew it a collection company was calling and put a lien on my home for more than $1000. Beware of El Cid timeshares. They'll abuse you with their maintenance fees and then send you to a collection agency if you try to get out of the contract. I'll never stay with them again.
DO NOT STAY AT GRANADA! it is outdated with bad service and overpriced! Walk across the street to Moro or Castilla. You will thank me later. Nice room, ocean view, and get this. Customer service! I will edit my review. Still a very nice place but confusion and too many hoops to jump through to get things figured out. Purchased AI, zip line, etc. Eventually returning them all because of lateness or last of explanation setting incorrect expectations.
