The place have a nice pool and good food in the restaurante but the hotel rooms are ugly…

Very basic hotel. Perfect 4 one or 2 nights. Handicapped persons facilities. Nice pool. Extraordinary attention by the staff.

This place is great, right across the street from ADO, you can grab public transport to hotel zone for 9 pesos (2017), or find mercados and real Mexican cheap but good restaurants in this area, true Mexican people away from tourist zone, there is a park called palapas just a few blocks away which every weekend has some really cool shows, mainly amateur guys doing performance shows, acrobats, clowns, singers, break dancers, etcetera, good price, good location, can't go wrong.

I found it fair for the price. Very good location Right in front of the ADO station. It has many useful commercial premises next door. The staff of the hotel are very friendly. I did not like that the bathroom is put in the same room separated by a kind of polycarbonate enclosure. Maybe the worst is that they have macaws locked in cages with thick bars. Inhuman.

La ubicación es excelente, se encuentra justo enfrente de la estación de autobuses. Creo que las habitaciones podrían mejorarlas, considerando que el precio no es el más barato (puedes encontrar hoteles con mejores habitaciones y mas barata). La alberca estaba sucia (el agua opaca). Al aire le faltan mantenimiento, el cuarto olía como si estuvieras en un lugar con mucho polvo.

Water from the pipes came out with a smell of drainage and yellow color… They didn't fix it. This was so disrante 3 days of the stay. May 24/18

Hotel in the heart of Cancun Centro in front of the bus terminal ADO, next to many restaurants (for the beach take public transport). Good value for money. The Executive rooms have been redone recently. Noisy corridors very late at night. Lack of hygiene in the pool, guests bathe all dressed. Free Netflix in the room, coffee maker but no coffee with it! Spring bed too hard. Good but little better to do. Home indifferent.

Great service and fare price. A unique experience waking up with the sound of the birds.

It was very cozy and very clean. It has a swimming pool and is in a central location and everything is close by: Right in front you will find the ADO bus station.
Maybe the only bad thing is they had ants. I had a few typical candies in my suitcase and in a matter of hours I had many ants.

Comfortable if you travel from Cancun Airport as the bus terminal is across the street. You got Oxxo on the side. Lots of places to eat around as the hotel food is not very good.

Very good hotel in front of the terminal Cancun comfortable with very good food and all the staff very friendly I spent 4 days very comfortable.

Very close to ADO, located in the middle of the downtown. The rooms are pretty clean but could be better, we had only cold water in the shower — maybe depending on the room. Beautiful garden (with parrots and peacocks) and swimming pool (open 10-22), but fitness center (open 9-17) — not even one machine worked.

The hotel is very close to the bus terminal. That is why we stayed there. The lobby is very nice. Staff was friendly. Older hotel, no frills.

I was in the month of December, with a small group and were very happy, close to shopping malls, food stalls, you can take in the corner the truck for the hotel zone. Very well. We liked it. The bathroom in some rooms is like translucent. In case you go with other people in the same room.

The hotel has a very good connection by bus to the airport (ADO buses) and to different parts of Cancún, including the beaches (R1 line). The staff is very kind, the rooms are clean. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant, and next to the restaurant, a pool. The ladies come to clean around 11 AM every day. The hotel keeps a lot of peacocks as pets.

The hotel needs maintenance, Vine and tour were occupied about 10 rooms and found in all of them cockroaches, and that they cleaned them daily
The booties even though they were tipped, they really did help us with the suitcases. We stayed 4 nights from December 29th from 2017 to January 2nd, 2018. Not recommended.

In terms of convenience the hotel is right next to the bus station which for us was a big draw as we only planned a 2 day stop over. Rooms look pleasant but are quite noisy. Upon pulling back the sheets we found blood and brown stains. Either these were old sheets left on the bed or stained sheets had been put on. Not a pleasant find. The hotel isn't generally 'noisy' however the rooms do not block out sound well meaning footsteps and chatter in the corridoor can be heard at all times. One of the reasons we chose this place over other cheaper hotels was the fact it had a gym. The 'gym' consisted if 4 pieces of completely broken equipment. I would suggest this hotel falls more in the 2-3 star category. My 1 star rating is as a result of the hotel advertising itself as a 4 star venue.

Hotel del centro, con una excelente ubicación frente a la terminal de autobuses del ADO, ya sea llegues en avion, puedes tomar un autobis aue sale cada 30 minutos rumbo a la terminal en Cancun y asi llegar directo al Hotel, tambien hospedarse en el Plaza Caribe tiene grandes beneficios como plr ejemplo salir y conocer el verdadero centro de Cancún o si lo prefieres visitar la Riviera Maya, Tulum o Playa del Carmen, basta con tomar un camion o Van que llevan de manera segura y comoda a cualquier destino solo con salir de tu habitación y lo mismo para cuando vuelvas, olvidate las larvas esperas por un segundo transporte que te acerque a tu hotel, ya que el Hotel Plaza Caribe al estar frente a la termi al de autobuses mas inportabte de todo Cancún, todos los autobuses te dejaran ahi y solo basta cruzar directo al lobby del hotel sin esperar por un segundo transporte. Todo a un excelente precio y calidad, te recomiendo desayunar Huevos motuleños y salir a caminar al parque de las palapas cruzando igual la calle a un costado del hotel o bien ir a las playas en la Zona Hotelera donde somo basta salir del hotel caminar a la esquina y tomar cualquier camion de transporte público que diga R1 o R2 y por $10.50 te llevaran a todo lo largo de la Zona Hotelera y de regreso lo mismo dolo que te dejan del otrl lado de la Calle del hotel solo basta cruzar y estas de nuevo en tu comoda habitación. Asi de facil es la visita hospedandose en el Hotel Plaza Caribe de Cancún.

Hotel is over 25 years old has issues I asked to be moved because of the construction, didnt happen. TV remote did not work, shower handles were reverse and also went cold during the showere so I had to keep adjusting them. Location to a street full of clubs within waliming distance or wobble on the way back and 40 peso bus ride on a Micro to playa and ADO bus station is great and dont buy the hamburgers outside. Pool and court yard area was nice and clean to the eye.

Not the best hotel for the money you ask for. The only plus is the bus station across the road.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. It's a great mix of real-life, downtown Cancún & wordly exposure by guests from anywhere imaginable. Affordable, tranquil, convenient, and friendly.

Convenient location (in front of the ADO bus terminal). The room was dark and a little smelly like humidity. The rooms seem old (expected something else due to the website pictures) ; maintenance can be definitely improved. Good for a short stay to enjoy the sun and pool. Friendly staff.

It was a vey bad experience ans waste of my vacation time. Very beautifu pictures but in real its an old hotel. Service was great but the property itself is not worth spwnding your time there. We asked for towels they brought towels wirh big holes. Killed an cocroach in the room. Ac was dripping water. Let a donut on the table at night in the morning it was full of little ants. Left the property 2 days early. It my time woth more than money. Went to susnset marina resort. A great palce.

Nice hotel in downtown Cancún. My room had everything I needed (not very cozy, though). Very close to the central bus terminal. Would stay there again.

Prettt hotel but it was to loud and to much people drinking soth big parties all day long.

Stayed here because it is across the street from the ADO bus station when I missed my flight. The place claims to have many amenities (pool, restaurant, conference rooms), I didn't get a chance to use any of them, so keep it in mind. They do have HBO and some other premium cable. Rooms are not upscale or cozy, things are old and dilapidated, the hallways are not in good shape. The AC in my room was not that powerful. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken, but the reception was friendly and gave me an extra bar. One thing to take note of: the bathroom is not really separated from the room, so it is very smell and noise conducive. Also inconvenient.

It is cheap and good for last minute place to rest and shower. When I arrived, I saw 2 small roaches which means there are more. I actually went out to get insecticide to spray all over and didn't see anymore :) When I opened the bottled water, the seal didn't break and it tasted like the water from the tap. The bed sheets and covers had suspicious stains… lol. And the pillows were smelly. Tried looking for bed bugs, couldn't see any but I know they are hard to find… sprayed insect repellent all over the bed so not sure if that helped. I guess for the price ($45 for 2), it's enough since I took the cheapest room :/

Un poco sucio la entrada del salón y un muy mal diseño por dentro. No combina en nada con el Hotel.

In general, fine, but don't put them out 5 because of the attitude of some members of the staff.

The hotel plaza Caribe is conveniently located opposite the bus terminal ADO of where you can go to any part of the Riviera Maya or this on the main Tulum Avenue that leads to playa del carmen and where you will find one of the bus stops of public transport that lead to the hotel zone or puerto Juarez to get to isla mujeres super easy to get around from hotel plaza caribe, the service is good but could improve in certain areas of opportunity that can improve but nothing difficult to solve, the hotel was one of the first hotels in Cancun in fact, it was built before that the same terminal and you already have one years the premises but they are remodeling rooms and public areas, the restaurant is very good and they have a bar in the lobby that has TV to enjoy some sport in the evenings in general is a good hotel for a couple of nights or as happened, to visit more places while saving costs.

The worst experience of my life! the room full of roaches, dirty, deplorable.
I do not recommend to my worst enemy. Disgusting!

Excellent hotel and all this very close to what I recommend and a very affordable price without a doubt I'll come back and I hospedare ay same.

One of the beds was infested with bedbugs and attacked my friend. Very worn down rooms, pillows were like lumpy sacks of potatoes and the bathroom door didn't close right.

I have been hosted on more than 15 occasions, and I will gladly return to enjoy their hospitality. Congratulations for your Excellent Service at all levels.

Good hotel with very good location with only a few aesthetic in room details. But in general very good cost vs benefit very well.

They ripped me off on the change I recieved cause I was sure of the conversion rate. 3 different things were stolen right out of my room from from housekeeping including my camera for my trip that had just began.
