We were here for the first time two years ago. The location is great, close to all shopping and bus stop, if needed. The staff is so kind and accommodating. Very family friendly. Kids enjoying the pool as much as the adults. The food at Amanda’s, the hotel restaurant, is quite good. However, you’re close enough to other restaurants if you prefer.

We discovered the Bogavante hotel a few years ago. We’ve stayed two times and would have stayed last March if there hadn’t been the covid stuff happening. Wonderful people, food, drinks, beautiful property amidst all the good things of Barra.

Enjoyed our time watching the sunset. Beautiful location and awesome margaritas! ❤️

I found the management and staff very friendly and helpful. The resort has the most beautiful sunsets. The breakfasts were wonderful!

Wouldn’t change bath towels for clean one advice to leave them a outside to dry and reused. The night person. When you travel from far away to find a place to relax and enjoy. Not nice everyone else nice people but very limited with accessories need to be asking for things.

This is a good Hotel, great ubication and very confort.

The personal is lovable, the fotos is good all is so fresh. The hotel have pool, the water is clean and they give You towels. The bed is confortable.

The hotel was very nice but the service was absolutely terrible. The management people were really rude and they had bad service. The towels are in bad conditions and you can’t swim in the pool unless you consume something from them which I think it’s bs. Everything we did they will tell us to not do it such as swim, eat from our own food and drink our own beverages. Also when I paid for our room they made me pay extra because they forgot to add that money when I reserved our room. Dont stay here!

Comfortable room very well if you would come back… but the very late restaurant maybe they need staff.

Very nice… Very clean rooms and excellent atmosphere and attention.

The hotel has a great view, location and the pool is nice. But I got a room with a door that connected to other room and it was very noisy! The kids screaming at 7am and music. In general it's a great place just make sure to choose a room without the connection door!

New rooms with a beautiful view to the sea and to the pool. Very good location. The hotel has its own small tables with an umbrella on the beach. Good service and friendly family atmosphere. 100% recommended.

I've never stayed here but it looks wonderful. Infiniti pool on the beach, close to the town square. I enjoy going for sunsets and music.

I like the service, great pizzas, great pool overlooking the ocean! Didnt stay in a room but gi regularly to have drinks, Wi-Fi and a swim!

This hotel has the perfect seaside location. It's very tranquil (at least in February) and the staff is pleasant and efficient. It's a great hotel for couples or families looking to wind down.

Love the Bogavante! First of all, a very heartfelt warm greeting (as usual) from Rosy. Upon opening our room door we were met with a spectacular view of the bay and to our surprise, a really comfortable mattress, wait, we are in Mexico, right? Add a couple rum & cokes on the balcony and a comfortable climate controlled room, we slept very well. The maids do a good job keeping the room spotless, and it's nice to have granite counters. The view from the balcony is spectacular (just can't say that enough). We could watch boats/yachts coming in and out of the bay, whales, surfers, and of course beautiful sunsets. The location across from the park is ideal, seems like everything is within walking distance. Great food, especially the cheeseburgers. Next year when we return, we will probably see new elevators. Two little conveniences, underground parking and a bike rack out front. In closing, the staff make your stay even more enjoyable and speak good English.

Great place to stay, right on the ocean with an amazing view from pool and balconies — excellent food and the staff are very friendly and accommodating, have been two years in a row and will be back again next year! Thank you Bogavante for making our trip a very relaxing one!

Haven't stayed there but the restaurant is great. The entertainment is always good and the view out over the infinity pool is gorgeous for sunsets.

Receptionist at night very distracted and without knowledge, is under construction another part of the hotel and it will look good. The pool and the view very nice and the room with sea view very well. They should Only improve in attention and service and will be luxurious.

Disappointed with our room this visit. A/C didn’t work, found a cockroach in the room, no hot water (not even Luke warm water even though one morning we were only guests up at 5am). We requested balcony room but had first floor room, which was fine although we could hear TV and other people’s voices loudly. We did enjoy the food from the on-site restaurant though.

Excellent service. The Hotel is under construction, there are unsafe areas. I Recommend view to the sea, as the Street View is in front of a square and on holidays there is a lot of noise. Excellent rooms. To improve, that the restaurant service can be charged to the room so as not to have to charge cash out of the room.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms and close to town, the people who work there are very friendly, and the pool is in a great spot with a beautiful view of the beach.

I loved the pool, the very nice people all, deliver my room at 12 and I was able to stay up until 3 in the facilities without a problem! that I could love it! when I register forget my glasses brand, and I handed them over without a problem, then then! clear q what I recommend, waiting for q this treatment will give all the people!

Excellent service and location, good cost and the swimming pool is very well located. It is still under construction but I would recommend it.

What an absolutely lovely find in Barra de Navidad,, and very very affordable,, lovely comfortable rooms very accommodating staff friendly,, best shrimp fettucine Alfredo I have ever enjoyed,, super Duper drinks and the view is spectacular.

Popped in one afternoon for a snack and a few drinks. Was very pleasant. Tonio, the chef, popped around and chatted. Very friendly guy. Lovely infinity pool.

One of my favourite spots — for us we normally come for breakfast. The food is always good. The breeze so pleasant and the view — delightful.

We stumbled upon this place while wandering around looking for somewhere still serving breakfast, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The tables are set up looking over the infinity pool to the ocean and the breakfast was delicious. Coffee was just okay, but I'm used to that here.

A very quiet place. Very clean. The luxury rooms. Very nice hotel. 100% recommended!
