Ginger Thaï is an amazing restaurant. Everything was delicious. We really enjoyed our dinner there. We could taste every food. The chef is very friendly and welcoming. Highly skilled of course. And she loves her job.

Beautiful hotel, clean, quiet and very well located. The staff are on the go, the sea pool is breathtaking, the restaurants are of excellent quality. Our stay went wonderfully well, not a single downside. The room is well maintained. The theme nights at the buffet are appreciable. Quiet atmosphere. Chic and relaxing. Thank you for everything, we'll be back!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and it was fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, the Thai restaurant is incredibly good, and there were always plenty of free lounge chairs on the beach. It was expensive, but I doubt it was any more expensive than the surrounding resorts. Another great selling point is the boathouse, they offer free snorkeling, kayaks, pedal boards, and some boat trips which were very cool. I highly recommend this resort.

Aging rooms that would need to be refreshed. Food (in addition to half board) at the price of Parisian restaurants and overpriced wines (90 euros for a medium Rosé) staff that said very friendly. On the other hand the hunt for electronic cigarettes is open throughout the hotel! We think we're dreaming. Finally even though officially the 25m pool is adults only don't count too much on it or on the pool boys. It's up to you to do the police. Not cool. Positive, even very positive point: restoration! The evening buffet restaurant is excellent with themes that change every day. Breakfast is very good too. Oh yes I forgot for pity create toilets near the beach and pool adults. Being forced to cross the entire complex to go to the bathroom of the main restaurant is really painful.

Excellent Holiday. Staff friendly and welcoming. We found the food at the buffet (half board) varied and interesting, and especially enjoyed Mauritian night. Lovely adult pool. Great beach. Excellent choice of free activities. This was a special anniversary trip for us, and the honeymoon we never had. The staff made it a very special holiday with lots of special touches to mark the occasion. We were a little frustrated by people leaving their towels on loungers all day, but fortunately the hotel was not full, so we were able to find somewhere to sit eventually. We upgraded our room and really enjoyed the space and decor. The staff work tirelessly to keep the resort looking good and we will aim to come back soon!

I enjoyed my stay here and the horse riding on the beach was a fantastic highlight for me. The food and service was really nice with freshly made pancakes.

Hotel is well situated, rooms are ok but need some renovation as room are old. Poor dinner and breakfast even if it was buffet very limited choices. Need some improvement.

The Hilton hotel is nice. It is very close to the beach. The restaurant is very good, though a bit expensive in comparison with the rest Mauritian restaurant. The rooms are nice and clean. However I'm not sure that having a window inside the bathroom (right in front of the toilets) is the best idea, eventhough you can close it. The resort offers a lot of activities. If you want to visit the island, expect to take a taxi as the city in not close to interesting places.

Nice room but starts getting aging. Food at the hotel is excellent and varied.

A big thank you for this great family vacation. 7 nights It's a bit of a run… Two very nice rooms. Super big bed. Cleanliness of the rooms nothing to say either. Towels, products etc. Everything is there.
The staff (reception, concierge, restaurant, bar, nautical animation, floor staff…) is more than charming, amiable, of a remarkable kindness. Thank you to Jannick who is at the breakfast. The buffet of the breakfast is standard there is for every taste there is everything that is to be in fruit, in fruit juices, than in sweet, salty (small bemol if we could improve the quality of bread and pastries) being a breakfast in France in a hotel Similar I have more than appreciated. Thanks to Doucha of the spa for the relaxing massage. Thank you very much for everything and thanks to the chef for the different buffets and the different themes. A very soon…

It was just an amazing place for holidays a place when you forgot everything a place when fun meet relaxation they have an amazing entertainment team that will take. Great care of you the restaurants was delicious too the. Fitness centre was well equipped with brain new equipment and the spa was very good too.

I am a Diamond member of the Hilton Group and sleep on average around 60 nights per year in a Hilton hotel. This hotel was a nightmare. Completely overpriced for the rooms and the service. The staff is not trained well. Rooms are old and not renovated. When I spoke to the (French) hotel manager he was looking „surprised“ about my observations that I did during my 7 day stay. At least he gave me later a small discount on the bill. Compared to the total amount it was a joke. The hotel is absolutely overpriced. As much as I love Hilton and Waldorf — I can really NOT recommend to book this hotel. Maybe another hotel manager could at least manage the staff better.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the service was very good. Spa and fitness room were excellent. Only inconvenience was that during my stay there was heavy rainfall and a river nearby dropped lot of mud in the sea. And we could barely swim.

Unfortunately, everything has been very neglected and in the years. No 5 stars and worth the price.

Excellent facilities and location but the service is very sloppy. Be prepared to wait a long time for service if at all — we ordered a burger on our first day and a club sandwich: I got the burger after 30 mins or so — and over an hour later, the burger finally came! No one will proactively come to you to take your order — you need to keep on calling the waiters or getting up to get the menus and drinks for yourself — and then they may come! There is no follow up here — unprofessional to say the least. You ask for one thing and have to keep on reminding them else it just will not happen. The night before we left we got an envelope with a note and the bill to review and they forgot to put the bill in the envelope! Very sloppy service for a Hilton generally and one at this price!

Inimitable is a very loyal employee of the hotel. She was very accommodating, went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel was beautiful and lovely. Looking forward to returning. We were there the 23rd of November to the 30th of November 2017

Very nice location.
The Hilton Hotel in Mauritius, Flic en FLAC, is already a bit older (opened 2001) and so the rooms show some small shortcomings. Our room was very location and from the room neighbors was heard every word. In the restaurants you have to wait a long time for the service, until the food comes then it takes something again. Very good service in the evening buffet, also the food was appealing and there are recurring theme nights. A pity is that the leftovers are collected at stations and are only occasionally brought into the kitchen, so there are always many birds that taste it. Very good, however, is the Ginger Thai restaurant where the Thai Pao cooks very fine. The garden is large and beautiful, in some places the staff always rides the Caddos over the lawn, so that it is now no longer to perceive as a lawn. Unfortunately, the irrigation system is also missing in some places. The two Swimmingppools are also beautiful. All in all, it should be a bit more groomed seon for a 5 star hotel.

When you have been to 5-star resorts around the world, this one definitely does not look or feel like one. — Average room with okay-ish amenities and old appliances. — Main pool has floating leaves and looks dirty most of the time. — The open-air jacuzzi is most of the time out of service. — The adult infinity pool is small and not with a lot of lounge chairs around; we witnessed people fighting for a spot. People tend to "reserve" their spots at daybreak until night-time. You'll be lucky if you manage to enjoy the adult pool during your stay. — Gym is tiny! — Food is good but not great; avoid the boring and tasteless French buffet! The only outstanding thing is that the staff is amazing. All of them are very friendly and helpful. Azaria Rose is the best bartender ever; he knows how to maintain a conversation, and how to keep his guests entertained and happy!

Let me start by saying this review is rated low because for the price the service is poor. Tasteless buffet, rude personnel. And I still can't get over fact that we are on a beautiful island dinning in a hotel that is spread out over a good distance. But yo I can't wear shorts to the open buffet but I see some uncle with his pyjamas and flip flops and that's totally fine. So funny how little sense that makes.

Went for a conference of 2 days and gala dinner organised by Albert Trading and Makita Gulf. Very well organised, good food, nice location and professional team. Thanks to all for this wonderful moment and experiences.

Nice place to stay. We booked room with full board package which works out cheaper if you gonna spend more time in hotel. Water sports was complimentary we enjoyed it. The thing I did not like was there wasn't any veg food during lunch and dinner time buffet. Which was really sad. I think its not a crime to be a veg in this world.

If you are looking for a hotel with closeness to a town then Hilton Mauritius is a good choice, it located in Flic en Flac about an hour's drive away from the airport. It is close to a lot of the sights at the south part of the island and has a great sandy beach. The hotel is nice and mist rooms are a good size with a balcony where you can see the sea. They have two pools, one in the centre of the resort and a slightly smaller infinity pool. There plenty of sun chairs around the pool areas as well as the beach. They have a great selection of water sports equipment and free activities and excursions. The gym is located on the Spa and is a good size and has a great selection of machines and equipment. The Spa has a good list treatments and the staff are very friendly and helpful, however the prices are higher than other hotels on the island. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and good quality. Overall a very good resort, it would however benefit from an executive lounge and more targeted offers towards elite members, at the moment Westin is a much better value if you are top tier with both.

The hotel is quite and clean. The combination of colors in its garden is amazing. I loved the breakfast. Nice smell all the time. I recommend it for others!

Friendly staff, maps of the Thai Ginger and the shell to fall, rooms of dream to the magical framework: the perfect place to put luggage and enjoy Maurice.

I loved this resort! I needed a much needed break from a hectic schedule at work. My time at hilton was so relaxing. The spa therapist made me feel relaxed. And the sports tutor helped exercise and remove tiredness. Food was awesome. Do try the infinity pool ;) Overall: The check in process and welcome was pleasant. I loved the food on offer. I like thai food. Had 1 issue and it was resolved quickly.

Customer service is impeccable. Restaurant choices are limited, though the food is nice. Pool seating not great and the beach area is only so-so. Accommodation / room satisfactory.

I went there for my honeymoon in the month of May 2015 from India. The overall Experience was quite an awesome to me and my wife. The pool side bar, live music / folk dance, hookah, food, ambiance, staff, water sports / activities, Room and location was simply awesome. Thanks to MakeMyTrip guyz to plan the whole trip to Mauritius.

The hotel is good is Wi-Fi, amazing difference, so, basically, I can't get a cell signal almost 2G no signal room to put it. Don't use a cleaning service comes in. While it is cleaning how much to let people have some issues with hot value high in order to Haitao sun.

Awesome Hotel. Highly Recommend.

A well managed, well staffed hotel with excellent customer services team who take a real interest in sorting out any issues or requirements. Room was clean and have great views. A home away from home. Our expectations were high, but it was 100x better than we could have hoped for! We participated in tons of activities, its very child friendly and the food is pretty good.

Me and my wife went there for a second honey moon and it was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and there was a big variety of delicious meals every evening. We recommend this paradise place, because it is the best combination of high quality and price.

Top Hotel and very well maintained facility. The food is very good in all the restaurants. We are very satisfied in any case.
