Kid running riot throughout hotel on school trips 🥵 the food is always bloody cold, staff look like they are slave workers that’s had their passports taken. Pool needs a proper good clean proper dirty round edges, rooms basic air con doesn’t work in room, fridge is shite too bathroom floods the whole room maid service they think they are doing you a favour servicing your room. Drinks are far to expensive 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Fabulous 3 day stay. Hotel is very clean with a solid approach to covid rules. Staff couldn't do enough and food was really good quality with a wide selection. We went all inclusive so were kept well fed and watered in between meals. Hotel is tucked away with a nice sea view and is a short walk to the busier part of town if that's of interest. Buses in Malta are really good and only €1.50 for a single to the capital and the hotel in right on two bus stops so the island is easily explorable. So I'll definitely return 😁

We come here often and I always have the salad… I think its the best salad on the Island. Very colourful, tasty, fresh and well presented… there is a very good selection of salad to choose from. So those on a diet like me I am sure you will find one for you and your taste buds… well done ✔ to the chef who prepares the salads 🥗

The food is not good and the restaurants not Clean.

Some of the staff is rude, the hotel rooms looks dated, had to contact the hotel front desk several times do to issues with hot water and water pressure as well as broken fridge, everything was sorted but shouldn't have happened in first place.

Faulty plumbing, Faulty wiring, Dirty floors, Rude staff, Towels & buckets on every floor collecting water from something that’s leaking or dripping.

Great pool area. Plenty of space and lots of umbrellas and sun beds.
Staff were very friendly and even helped carry our pushchair down the stairs.

I have been before with friends, now I’m back with family, the food is so delicious, nice quiet rooms, very friendly staff, I like everything about this place, only your bath towels are too old town and very small.

Terrible hotel, food only good for pigs, Staff rude, sat in coffee shop for 20 mins with no one coming to take the order to be told to sit dawn and wait, sat for another 10 mins and walked out. Had another booking for April which we will cancel. I would rather loose the money than stay here again.

Worst service ever from their coffee shop. Half an hour waiting for a waiter to take our order. After having got up and went to the bar asking for someone to take our order, we were told that only instant coffee is available because the coffee machine was turned off. This is not a coffee shop, it is a joke.

This hotel is so lovely. The food is fantastic. Well the staff what can I say? they go above and beyond, they are so friendly, helpful and polite. We have received the best service from all at Qwara Palace, would highly recommend this hotel. Very clean, all of them work hard.

I would recommend the hotel. Food is excellent & staff are so friendly I have no complaints. Service from all staff are excellent too. Rooms are lovely & big & very clean, everything you need for a holiday. I would say a 5 star hotel plus has entertainment every night but would be nice to have a game of bingo now & then but carnt complain. Malta is lovely & weather is great. Well done.

Friendly staff and very clean rooms with spacious. It was an awesome weekend with good breakfast buffet that has good variety. Pool was clean and not crowded even the beach deck was great as well. Really enjoyef my early mornings to see the sunrise near the pool by no one disturb me. For sure I will come agian.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Food is awful (go self catering if you must stay here) and there are only 2 bars for about 800 rooms. They also do not offer wrist bands meaning only 1 person from a room can order drinks or food. Restaurant staff are vile and the food is so poor you won't look at it twice. The food is bad for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pool is mediocre and entertainment is only enjoyable for people aged 40+ Staff are ignorant and disrespectful. People have requested that you must book a room with a sea view. If you do book a sea view room. You are still not guaranteed a sea view room. Instead you will be given a room with a view into other occupants rooms. Likewise, they can see into yours. If you ask to move room because you booked a sea view room, they will not be forthcoming and will most likely offer you another room with a similar view as before. Quality of rooms are poor. Marks on walls and ceilings. Holes in some walls. Very dusty and dirty paintings on the walls. Extremely poor lighting in both rooms and the rest of the hotel (apart from the reception). Overall a waste of money, I will not be staying here again and I doubt I will be coming back to the island because of the appalling experience this hotel has given me. Waste of money.

I stayed here for a week mid August. The hotel is in a good location, facing the sea, and within walking distance of plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. This hotel is a good, clean, BUDGET hotel. Many of the reviews on here seem to be expecting five star service, but that is not what this hotel is. I only had breakfast in the hotel once, as it was pretty awful. Everything was the cheapest possible (understandable for a budget hotel) but unless you like long life croissants and artificial orange juice, you would probably be better eating out. Even the coffee was probably the worst I have ever had. Think ten year old, uncleaned hospital vending machine. Unforgivable in the morning. It’s is no problem though, as Malta has lots of lovely bars where you can eat at very low prices. The room was comfortable and clean, with a very clean and modern bathroom. I used the hotel pool and hot tub and they were also very clean and just as nice as in far more expensive hotels. My only criticism would be that the hotel reception staff do not smile and greet you, and even for a budget hotel, a smile costs nothing.

The hotel has a beautiful reception with really lovely staff, especially Franco B, at the reception who was the best, extremely polite and friendly to us during our vacation, he even helped us locate our transfer that was running behind schedule to get to the airport. After seeing the difference between balcony view and sea view we paid for an upgrade, which was totally worth it for the view. We stayed here for 5 days on B&B board, there was a decent selection for breakfast, and we chose one night to have dinner in the hotel which we paid extra for. The choice for dinner wasn't to my taste, but there was one chef who was kind enough to make an extra dish for myself. Considering it was a buffet they should have had more white meat and vegetarian options. Our rooms were also neat and tidy, the only issue was our mini fridge/freezer wasn't working and although it is meant to be a 'cooler' there was freezer was deicing and left a puddle of water and this only got resolved towards the end of our stay. The hotel also recommended us places to exchange money, gave us directions to get to different locations. This hotel is located in a great place, not too far to walk to the bus station and has a shallow flat rock sea front. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the elevators broke down occasionally, and as we were on the 7th floor we had to wait quite a bit for the lift, the fridge issue and for a bit more variety for those who do not eat red meat.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 14 years. We hav brought my daughter here for the lasr 3years. We came in the middle of august due to school hols. I was expecting chaos, no sunbeds, Plenty of sunbeds around the pool area withiut having to get up at silly oclock. The staff are all lovely and can not do enough to help you. The food was hot, plenty of choice. We could not fault our stay and have already booked again for next year Thank you.

I'm currently staying at this hotel in mid August The hotel staff have all been reasonably polite and will try to help as much as possible Some may say the hotel is a little out-dated but for the cheap price the rooms have everything needed including a fridge and a balcony The food is amazing with a lot of rarity. There is traditional Maltese dishes as well as British dishes Burgers and other fast food isn't served in the all inclusive dinner or lunch The breakfast is good with English and continental. A lot of reviews currently on here complain about not having sand on the beach but I feel as though this isn't the hotels fault and if someone was to complain about this shouldn't come to Malta due to the lack of sand and they should go to Spain or other sandy places The air conditioning in the room only comes on if the balcony door is shut The hotel it's self has A lot of people as it's a large hotel with 100s of rooms The pool can sometimes be crowed but can be expected In the summer The hotel can aarange taxis for you Please be aware of touts who stand on the sea front and busy places offering you items such as free bus passes or bottle of wine if you come to a hotel with them this is a scam into conning you out of money Please note Qawra palace has nothing to do with the scam it's just a warning.

We were very upset from the moment we raced.
It's not a four — thing, it's a maximum of three degrees. We were greeted without smiles, running stories, what and where is in the hotel, all had to ask themselves. Climbing into the room, found instead of a reserved room with one large bed, two separate. I tried to call the receiver to report the error, but the phone didn't work. At this point the husband, swearing came out of the toilet, flushing did not work. More, more. The pool is about 20 meters for about 1, 000 visitors, including children. Everything is very old: furniture, pool cladding, hotel decoration and rooms. The buffet. There are only things that are difficult to spoil: salad, eggs and bread. Sausages, ham, even coffee can not be consumed.
Now a separate word about the beach. He's gone. In general. That is, the hotel is on the first line, but the coastline is in a terrible state, there is no descent into the water, dirt, stones are all covered in black, hell knows what it is.
In view of this, all but 390 hotel rooms were bathed in a 20 meter pool. Make your own conclusions.
We got out of the situation and went to the paid separate pool.

What can I say definitely 1 of the better places to stay in Malta. Our room was very up to date the food was lovely and not to expensive. IV not given 5 stars because the elevators where not always working and people placing their towels on sun loungers and not there for the day was not enforced. Myself and my girlfriend decided to pay 10 euro for the 1s near the water which was a great addition to the hotel. All and all good hotel and will be back next year.

We have really enjoyed our stay here :-) Perfect location, in fact almost at the beach, which enebaled us to stay in the hotel garden, swim in the sea and enjoy the benefits of all inslusive at the same time. There are enough shops, bars and restaurants in the area, too. The rooms were OK and the food was always great, too. I was only missing better choice of fruit. The staff is very friendly there, especially the barmen, namely David, Hector, Arsim and Vladimir :-) I also really enjoyed the possibility of dancing every eveining :-)

We chose this hotel and did not regret it. Recently there was a repair, worthy by the standards of Europe breakfasts, the best location. I advise everyone.

The hotel is disgusting. I've been living here for seven days. Maxim 3 stars and that with a stretch. This is not the first time I have been in Malta and I love Malta very much!
The restaurant is very dirty. There's leftovers of yesterday's meal on the windows. The tablecloths on the tables for seven days were not washed once, all poured and smeared with food. Even crumbs do not wash from tablecloths and table, let alone stains! See the photo in the review.
On all the booking sites, talking about windows in the inner garden, it's a lie, it's not a garden, it's an inner narrow courtyard, like a well. Windows overlook either the sea or the yard.
The hotel boasts that it has a full reservation, but in the season it was populated: half are teenage students, half are retired, and staff cannot control students. Every day students return from their studies and arrange a "party" in the courtyard. They go out on balconies with music and loudly communicate with each other, jump from the balcony to the balcony, so it can be until 1 a. M. Until one of the guests complains. 7 in the morning. 30 in the yard is a roll call of students.
If you ask to change the room, even where, if not in the yard, you will be offered to pay extra to give a room with a view of the sea, but between the hotel and the sea roadway, and the windows in the hotel are old and without noise insulation!

The 4 star hotel matches the stars. A great place for both children and adults. There is a pool for toddlers. Nearby playgrounds. The room is no frills, but everything you need is there. There is a candidacy, there is a TV with a Russian channel. The beds are comfortable, the linen is clean. The food is great. Different types of meat and fish are served. For dessert, delicious ice cream. The downside is that drinks are sold. The coffee in the dining room is disgusting. But it makes up for the cafe at the reception. They make delicious coffee. Prices are cheap in cafes. We are vacationing with 2 teenagers. They already have a lot of friends here from different countries. Despite the fact that the hotel grounds are not large, a lot of recreation areas and people do not interfere with each other. A beautiful view of Salina Bay. There are conditions for playing sports. It's a beautiful promenade for jogging.

Check in ok, room allocated damp, mouldy and smelly (224). Spoke to reception staff who immediately offered alternative room, much better. Attention to detail needed with cleaning — shower head, glass shelf in room and shelf above hanging space thick with dust, as is ridged tile round public toilets ground floor. Beds clean and comfy, food only ok and confusing at times as what on offer didn't match menu. Unlikely to be back.

Great pity that in a seaside resort you are forced to go to the pool, non existent beach.

Stayed at this hotel 3-10 May 2018. Booked 2 sea view rooms. On arrival reception area was full of young people shouting and using foul language. Our rooms not ready and staff on reception not very pleasant. Didn't know music festival taking place over 4 days with thousands of young people staying in this area and many staying in this hotel. Shouting, drinking and were openingly giving each other pills. This all went on until after 5am every morning. Hotel on main road traffic noise 24 hours. One end of swimming pool blocked of as repairs taking place. Last 2 days of holidays pneumatic drilling took place on top of cordoned of area at pool. Our rooms overlooking this area. Would not rate this hotel 4*. Glad didn't bring our grandchildren. Not suitable.

Renovated and well-equipped rooms. Small washbasin. Great location for those who prefer Malta North. English cuisine. Dinner fortunately at the buffet, so you can always find something to your liking. International breakfast with a wide choice, I would say endless. Evening entertainment for over 50 but nice. Wi-Fi only in common areas. Friendly staff and attentive to the needs. In May it was a great choice for family with children also thanks to indoor pool.

Good location for a family stay. Easy to get around and enjoy the holiday. It’s not a four star hotel as you will expect but it’s good value for money.

Modern clean hotel. Ensure you ask for a room with sea view, its stunning. Good buffet breakfast. Good transport links.

The lobby is greatly presented, the cafe to the side is good (not part of the all inclusive). But like many facades. It's a facade. A bit like staying in the shining but with old folk who don't need to chew food. The dining room has several patches of note worthy mold growth (that I'm sure they will paint over). On a positive note, the beds are quite comfy and the staff are generally competent and friendly.

Ok hotel, got it for a good price. Avoid off season as there is no outdoor pool. Efficient staff for check in. Good breakfast. Clean room though a bit basic. (did not even have tea or coffee or a working fridge)

We just used the cafe here which was lovely. Right on the seafront. Bright clean with helpful staff.

Recently refurbished, services is good. Their main coffee shop is most popular with local for the afternoon tea. Ideal for groups and students.

We came only for breakfast, nice atmosphere card enough provided and democratic price.

Good place to stay we enjoyed our two week stay. Food reasonable, my daughter enjoyed the paste. TV system leaves something to be desire subtitles on the sky and pick all the time and can't be turned off and appears to be the Ireland sky signal as one hour different to the local time also Irish adverts.

Have stayed at Qawara Palace over the past 20 years, Great rooms for a couple or family. Very disappointed when we invited our daughter in October 2017 — as a single person (who paid more than a couple for a room) shed was placed in a room on the ground floor — R160 — dark dingy room with no natural light, with windows facing a brick wall, you have put the light on when in the room. After complaining she was moved to the 8th floor in a bright airy room with 3 single beds and a balcony.

Hotel decor is really nice, staff are friendly but seem to be overworked, when they are really busy it can seem like they are being rude towards you. Hotel in general is quiet, my room was facing the courtyard so nothing to really see I would suggest upgrading to a sea view room. Stayed here on a half board basis and there was a varied menu at meal times with something for everyone. The majority of guests here are older I would say within there 50s I'm 27 and the evening entertainment was more suited for the older guests. Overall a good hotel in a not so good area.

Good 4 star hotel. Were in early November. The bathing season has already passed. The holidays with European schoolchildren also ended, so probably there were many pensioners.

I stayed here with my mum from 27th November to 4th December 2017. The room was lovely and spotless every day. The staff were all lovely and very polite, very welcoming. The food I cannot fault and I'm very fussy about my food. The swimming pools were both great inside and outside and the spa bath was great for my bad back, The only fault I can say about the hotel was the entertainment. It was all line dancing and ballroom dancing, other than that excellent and I will definately stay there again.

This is a good clean hotel. The food is good and there is plenty of choice at all meals. The rooms are cleaned every day. All the staff were helpful.

Worst hotel I've been in thus far. It is far from 4 star. The food, decor and overall ambience of the place is so dated. Don't be lured by the reception/Front desk as it is only downwards from then on.

Enjoyed our holiday. Visited 10 years ago as well updated since then. No complaints. Good position, nice view over the bay from Seaview rooms.

My 2nd time visiting Qawra Palace hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. Food is generally good, especially the breakfasts. Great location in terms of access to open water and to local shops, amenities and other places to eat. Wifi isn't spectacular, but I am yet to find a location in Malta that offers anything close to what I get at home. The sea facing rooms get a spectacular view of the sunrise if you're up early enough, which I recommend doing at least once. The coffee & cake shop on-site is superb, and the cakes themselves are absolutely spot-on. I would probably stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Very nice hotel with nice staff and amenities located very close to the sea with the small beach and the swimming pool, with a pool bar alongside. Good for walks along the promenade where you can walk for five to six miles either way and still on the flat ground. All in all a good short break holiday with fantastic food and lots of choice but the best thing is the vast array of cakes and sweet pastries. The only thing I could have said against the hotel which wasn't really their fault was the New Road that was dug up during the night and then replaced the following two to three nights of our stay. We were really annoyed at the fact that we were not advised that the would-be major roadworks going on right outside of the hotel and through the night via the travel operator. I have since found out that the new road surface was on the chords for three to four years and was been done due to the new local elections Many thanks Malta.

Great hotel but it's nothing.

Fantastic hotel right on the beach front, but a Quiet and friendly place to stay. Two things to note 1. A great coffee shop with a cake selection to die for! & 2. A massive ballroom with excellent entertainment and dancing.

We were there in april this year 2016 There was no room at the inn when we got there at 9.45pm After breakfast at the put us up Hotel, whice was very nice Back at ours and still no room, hours wasted. Got room at back bed solid wood, matters thin. Thank God we spent very little time in the room. Had to buy tea, coffee, sugar, funny, you get given cups and kettle. No pool towels, have to pay for old mattress for your sun lounger. We travel alot, but our laundry from the room went missing, never happened before. Must say it was dealt with. So yes, staff and manager Tony very helpfull. Food, yes, nice and plenty of it. Also they keep every where nice and clean, after all, wages are poor. Although the incident put a damper on our last days of our holiday, we can say we made the most of our time in sunny Malta.

I've been here in 2007. Two stars. The food was awful, the maids they rummaged in suitcases, the Lady in the gift shop was unpleasant, demanded that we speak English, but in English you don't understand at all, the neighbors of the rooms upstairs were complaining because we went out on the balcony in the evening and talk quietly with friends of the balcony next door and front room boys we were mistaken for prostitutes.

Nice hotel, conveniently located on the first line of the beach. Very good restaurant with its confectionery. Delicious pies and cakes. Rooms not very new, but in December the hotel closes for renovation and will be even better.

We stayed in September 2015. Sorry its so long but you really need to pay attention to detail, a good hotel going downhill rapidly, we did not enjoy our stay here this time, could not wait to go home, not all your fault the buses were a big letdown this time. The only friendly staff was our maid who was lovely. We stayed here 4 years ago and it was not as bad as this. Menus really need to be reviewed. Receptionists need to smile and be nice to guests, and be more helpful, very bad customer service. Witnessed poor disability service, instead of somebody in a wheelchair having to find a table to sit at each time, why could you not reserve a table which has easy access for them for every meal instead of trying to find a place that would take a wheelchair. Very poor waiter service, especially from one of the boss’s son. Not enough staff, tables not re-laid, you always had to ask for it to be laid. When cleaning tables, the crumbs are brushed onto your chair. All tables are only wiped with the same cloth, and never sprayed with anything. Chairs need to be pushed under table when leaving table, as it is an overcrowed restaurant, and guests have trouble getting to their own table. Food poor and cold, only certain foods labelled, had to keep asking what it was, on both hot and cold food. Toasters need renewing desperately. Hot glasses for cold juice. Coffee machines always breaking down, a balanced bowl for drip tray with hot liquid on, and accident waiting to happen.

The hotel is clearly not drawn to four stars — in the room mold in the radius of 1 m from the air conditioner, the air is filled with mold, the wall near the bathroom is wet. Breakfast is edible but without changing the menu. Deuce — three a stretch. Rest mostly elderly people.

The last time I as here was with my father 3yrs ago, and we both loved ever minute of our stay. Some of the staff knew who I was, as I stayed there before with a pal of mine. And that was in August 08. My friend and I used to stay somewhere else when we went to MALTA every year and two members from the entertainment from that place were now performing at this hotel. 1 was Martin who is MALTA, s answer to Elvis, and a family group called Joe George and the C. Band now called the Mics! Would love to go there someday. I love MALTA and it, s people! :-).

Avoid it, no meter the price! Old and unmaintained rooms, disgusting breakfast. Generally speaking, you get what you paid for. If you are happy with a bargain, don't be.

Met his wife here new year 2013 to 2014, very good price, staff, location (next to several bus stops, car rental points). The surrounding area is full of shops, cafés and restaurants.

For Breakfast was always the same — several kinds of cheese, ham, sausage, bread, scones, muffins, jams, honey, fried bacon, fried tomatoes, beans, eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, 6 types of cereal, milk. With regard to dairy products, their Malta does not have. Was only yogurt. The drinks, juices, coffee, tea. Dinners variety. The appetizers — salads, cheese, cold cuts, a lot of dishes with seafood. Great choice of accommodation-hot вкысные soups. Desserts, fruit, two types of bread (cake or a cake, ice cream, jelly, or pudding. Drinks at dinner, for a fee. The hotel has its own beach, located across the road. Pass at it through the 0 floor, past the outdoor pool. Although a classic view of the beach it was hardly — shore there are rocky and he is a small забетонированную platform. Slope into the water — the ladder. On com, the swimming pool — free of charge.
