Problems with beds, breakfast and elevators We booked a triple room — room for three people. Got a very small double room with an extra bed crammed next to the double bed. The extra bed was rank and unsteady. Not bedded and missing real pillows on arrival. Was hard to sleep in that bed. Although we had paid for three people, the hotel room was only equipped for two people, two coffee mugs, two glasses, two balcony chairs, etcetera. The curtains had come loose from the roof bracket so the sun was shining early in the morning. And yes, we told the reception about this. But was not fixed. Very small balcony that could not accommodate more than two people. Although we emailed the hotel in advance and requested room with good balcony. The hotel elevators are a nightmare. Getting a lift from floor 3 to the entrance floor can take 10 minutes, as the lift goes up and down and stops on all floors where other hotel guests have pressed the elevator button. The stairwell is locked so you can't go down or up the stairs. That is bad! Breakfast. There are more hotel guests than there are tables and seating. During high season and weekend there is a queue and wait until you get somewhere to have breakfast. The coffee in the vending machines is really bad. Hot water with coffee syrup. Same with the orange juice dispenser. You get more water than orange. Reception and bar on the entrance floor. The bar refuses credit cards if you order just coffee. The front desk requires a deposit 10 euro if you want to borrow a bath towel for the hotel's swimming pool. It seems that hotel guests are not trusted to borrow bath towels. The only nice person at the front desk was Alex, well I remember his name just because he was nice and serviceminded. Day before check out the hotel staff left a paper message in the rooms, saying "We take much pride in offering our guests a unique journey of Courtesy, Charm, Character, Calm and Cuisine and providing our guests with long lasting memories. " We checked out early on the last day to catch our flight, and had told the hotel about "Early Breakfast" — coffee, snacks and fruits. The hotel confirmed that it would be available at check-out. But it was missing when we checked out. Although we 6 people paid 10 euro/person for breakfast. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that they have a penthouse floor with an indoor swimming pool and roof relax terrace with nice sea view. It was actually the best thing about the hotel.
