How lovely the people are that run it … nice rooms too.

We spent 3 nights here, and we loved it.
Really nice place, clean, near to harbour and friendly People.

Warm welcome. We spent a week really nice. Not far away from a bus stop.

Extremely clean and spacious room for 3 people; complimentary welcome drinks, namely wine and a bottle of water. The breakfast room is situated at the rooftop with an amazing view over the historical harbor. The owner was really lovely and jolly, he prepared cappuccinos for my mom 3 times in a row ;) the airport shuttle can be arranged for a reasonable price; and it was also possible to store the luggage after the check-out!

Small lodging with best Service. Here you can get as a guest of the family, always a kind word, good advice, a tip or just a support in all matters. The family room is large enough, clean and well air conditioned. Breakfast is included and is more easily and is located on the roof terrace. To see as the property is located in a side street to the harbour at the sea view from the balcony of the port. The locality is well connected with public buses good (Valetta and the airport). In the case of a short-term rental request, the owner's son helps in the search. IMPORTANT in the case of rental cars in Malta (and almost anywhere in the world) is a credit card required! I have often overheard conversations in which a missing KK not to the car has helped.

A nice B&B run by father and son, Carmel and Andrew, nice but especially always very helpful. Our room was a quadruple with two double beds, very spacious and with an outside courtyard with tables and chairs. Equipped with the essential hairdryer, minibar, and even the adapters for the current, as in Malta you use the English sockets.
Bathroom, although small was functional and especially had a big shower.
Cleaning carried out every day, except on Sundays.
On arrival in the room we were made to find a bottle of red wine and a bottle of water.
Breakfast (ranging from sweet to salty)
It is served on the top floor, with a nice view of Marsaxlokk Bay.

Warm welcome. Very nice place! Comfortable room and bed. Pleasant terrace for good breakfast which can also be used (as well as the kitchen) at any moments. Very near harbour and restaurants. Deserves at least 2 or 3 nights stay… Very good value, I recommend!

For the first Time in Malta, and is equal to a full hit: Top B&B, very clean and large rooms, right on the Harbor and yet totally quiet. The staff is super nice and very helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally comfortable beds — slept really well every night! Tip — if you go in winter, take slippers, as the marble floors are lovely but cold!

We arrived at this b thanks to a very affordable offer found on Google. Just arrived the guy at the front desk, very friendly, welcomed us and given the welcome showing us to our room. We found it spotlessly clean, with the air conditioning already on and very spacious. The b is in a not very active area, however close to St Peter's pool and however by transport you can get anywhere. Also the B is affiliated with the restaurant "Filippo" where with a low expense of €17 per head for 4 person, in fact we were amazed, we ate from God.

Very friendly place, equipped with air conditioning, clean rooms and some really large. The managers were very kind with us, available with customers. Very nice breakfast area, reception provided with air conditioning.
It is close to wonderful sea areas such as St. Peter's Pool.

It is a house with very nicely decorated rooms, we spent 10 days in the very nice breakfasts since the family working there is very friendly the cleanliness is perfect the reasonable prices, my wife and I would repeat you certainly.

Very quiet place ideal to relax and unwind. The hotel is small but the rooms very clean and the bed super comfortable. The attention is great, the guys are very nice and friendly. I would definitely go back.

The mattresses were a bit soft for our taste, this however wasn't a major problem either. Otherwise everything deemed great. The family run guesthouse is a great choice for a holiday stay. Everyone is welcomed us with exemplary hospitality, was helpful and made sure our vacation goes smoothly (airport transfer, late check-in, providing information etc. ) Location is great, the restaurants are nearby just as well a great beach, Peter's pool. AC worked fine, so did the free Wi-Fi.

Great location to stay at Malta! Very very clean and neat and with great attention to detail. The beds are so comfy that you could almost miss the breakfast at the beautiful roof terrace with port view. Very kind hosts who want to make you feel hosted well at any time!

The room very big and clean (fourth floor). The care very attentive and pleasant. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked. The building is deceiving on the outside but inside is newly remodeled. Let us eat our own food in the roof although we had already made the check out.

It's been our first time in Malta and we be been looking for book such accommodation which would be in between the standard hotel and a private apartment. And the Portview guest house has turned to be the best choice that we could do. First of all this is because of location. Marsaxlokk is the small old city of Malta with authentic atmosphere, and the guest house is situated in the very center of it. This hotel also can boast the greatest view on the city embankment from its terrace. The second moment is hospitality and friendly environment. Both Carmel and Andrew Azzopardi are very adequate and intelligent people, who are very pleasant to communicate to and deal with. They hold the exact balance of closeness and respect to privacy. The third is the convenience. Our Standard Quadruple Room is equipped with a small fridge and a hair dryer. They also have given us us an electric adapter right after our check-in. The Portvew hotel supplies the huge amount of towels of different sizes and they change them daily. The room is cleaned everyday as well. The breakfast is ok — there is some reasonable variety of food which allows you to follow any non strict diet. But if you feel it is not enough, you can use all the facilities including the microwave oven all day long, and be quite independant in your nutrition plans. Bottled still water, instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a kettle are also available there all the time without any additional fee.

We have had a very nice stay in this guest house. The contact with Andrew and his father was warm and helpful each time we needed it. The location is perfect, the terrace for the breakfast very enjoyable. The premises very clean, the bedding very comfortable. Very quiet place not far from everything. If we come back to Malta we'll choose Port View Guest House again. Highly recommended.
