Great food, I ordered Panzarotti Chicken. In Canada a panzarotti is huge, I got perogies…

Great place to relax in comfort. Michael is a great host and will bend over backwards to help you with anything you need. Roof top is a beautiful place to enjoy the views of the harbor on an early morning with a hot chocolate. Recommend it to anyone to stay here.

Took them long to bring even bottled beer. Menu lacks information about amount of drink you are ordering, we explicitly asked for 0.5l, brought us 0.3l, even the service is confusing, waiters were running around looking for our table. For drinks only we waited 35min. Needs improvement.

In the 1/2 hour we were here, every single meal that came out of the kitchen was given to the wrong people. As one reviewer mentioned if you want to be ignored you're in the right place. Very very disorganized.

We stayed there for 7 days. Great stay, spacious room, quiet with a great location. The restaurant is also very good and an interesting value for money.
The plus being Michael's kindness.

Horrible quality of the food. Avoid any battered/breaded fried fish or calamari. Obviously not fresh. Probably bought frozen.

Clean and tidy rooms every day, international breakfast, friendliness and owner's availability. Unfortunately I can't put 5 stars just for the noise of cars and horns from 6am. The owner gave us the best room with double glazing, but not to turn on the air conditioning we hate at night, we kept everything open… perhaps with all closed the noise there would not have been.

Very reasonable price, a professinal acting staff, very nice furnishing and equipment and a perfect cleanliness. Also: organizing to get to the Airport in-time. Whenever possible: I will come back. My full recommendation.

Family run business… makes a great customer service combined with clean rooms and worth your stay. Centrally located in Marsaxlokk makes it perfect for the Sunday fish market. Highly recommended… book early to avoid disappointment.

Basic but then so is Marsaxlokk. Nevertheless, the restaurant was good value for money albeit basic. The washrooms were clean but I still could not help noticing a hair in my salad. Many locals ate there though so it must be reasonably safe. Apart from the hair it would have been a four star rating.

Fantastic hosts very clean accommodation and Michael the owner can't do enough for you. It feels like home.

Frequent this place for the food. It is good and prices reasonable. However, AC is often switched off and doors are left open, so there are to much flies. This is unhealthy and an nuisance. It is a pity for a few savings.

If you're looking for a fantastic, family run place to stay while in Malta, Duncan's Guest House is the place to be. Run by Michael & his brother John, these people will do anything at all to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Nothing is ever too much for them. After many years of staying here, I wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else.

I would highly recommend this hotel because it is in a great location in the Centre of Marsaxlokk, run by friendly people and Nice. Michael with his brothers greeted us as if we had known each other forever. Are really available … Although always in a hurry. The rooms are new, only 7 months ago and always clean. Very good value for money.
In the country there is not much to see, but if you are looking for a romantic and relaxing scenery you have come to the right place. Here you can eat good fish and admire the pretty coloured fishing boats.
Also the hotel Duncan is only half an hour by bus from Valletta.

Just lovely. The people are nice, the rooms are very large clean, and cleaned thouroughly every day. We are staying for two weeks and get four clean towels every day. Michael, the owner, is extremely nice, tells us about the nice spots on the island, recommended a good place to rent a car, and wouldn't even accept a reimbursment when I accidentally smashed a glass and ruined a towel (left something to dry on it that turned out to give off orange and pink stains…). The hotel is very affordable for its quality and the food they serve downstairs is good. Large parts of the hotel have just been renovated so everything is fresh and new. Surroundings are great, Marsaxlokk is adorable and there are many restaurants right outside your door along the dock. Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Cheap but clean hotel. You'll enjoy the friendly staff and have a nice stay. It's a very good address when you want a good but cheap hotel.

Basic accomodation but very clean, spacious and well kept. Comes with Duncan's restaurant which is one of our favourite places to eat in town.

Here for the fourth time. And still a great place it stay.
