Friendly people and beautiful beach views. Don't expect grand luxury, but the rooms are OK and clean, there's good food and the island is beautiful! After two days we moved to mira beach on Perhentian Kecil.

Horror!. We had the suite with garden view for 50 €/night including horror breakfast. The bungalows are very old and dirty. Dust everywhere. The room was very clean and comfortable. The balcony view is nice, but only if you don't look out through the never-before-cleaned windows. Bed is rock hard and the pillows are made of thick fabric. Good sleep is therefore impossible. There's no such thing as a duvet, just bed varnishes. Mattress is probably already 15 years old. Breakfast buffet is a joke. Every day there is a rice dish, pasta dish, beans, watermelon, pineapple, tin cake, cheap toast and luckily you can have eggs/Omlett roasted. For drinking there is tea/coffee/water and such a sugar-chemistry solution called juice. Price — performance ratio is not right here at all. The night in this dump is worth at most €15.

I do not recommend this place at all. I wish I could give less stars. The room was not cheap and not clean and definitely not cozy. There was mold in many places and the washroom reeked of sewer. There was no fan, no Wi-Fi, no mosquito net. The place was noisy at night. The staff was not friendly and not particularly helpful. The food was sub par and in short supply multiple times. Even considering that the island is remote and that all of the restaurants on the island have a difficult time getting quality ingredients, this place was especially poor. Do not stay here.

We stayed in a beachfront chalet in cocohut. These are directly located on the white sandy beach as seen on the pictures. The chalet is basic, in our case the fridge and air-conditioning worked perfectly. The shower seemed to be renovated recently. Breakfast is included and is simple, yet the quality is okay. Diner can be taken in Cocohut. The restaurant offers a good choice of local Malaysian food as also more western style food. Prices are okay. From Cocohut all beaches and the small Island can be easily reached by water taxi. Alternatively some of the beaches can be reached by jungle track. At Cocohut the track starts at the back of Cozy Chalets. The nearby Universal divers offers great dive trips and courses. They have professional and very friendly staff!

Everything is just okay. Nothing outstanding and nothing much to complain. Everything is basic here.

Cozy clean friendly place. Very quiet side of the Island. Beautiful sea view. Don't miss the snorkeling trips. Great food.

Very easy, taste simple cheap food, fresh fish in the evening that u can choose, the best Sea, so friendly group! The Best snorkling guide! Racommended!

Great if we keep in mind the quality of the resort on the island. Forget The comfort. This is really one of the mile-and-non-coata a blunder. At least the room is pretty nice and, above all, the current that is available 24 hours a day. The restaurant is good.
