The worst 5 star hotel I'm stay in ipoh. I'm have my wedding dinner at weil hotel and stay for few night for few room. The hotel exterior look like 5star. The staff here and service below than 3star. Even the other budget hotel in ipoh provide better customer service if compare with Weil hotel. For my wedding dinner, my dinner start at 7pm, the food serve at 7.15pm, the portion is small is only enough for kids, the food temperature is warm even for the soup, some food even cold, the taste is horrible also. Some issues complain to their management, surprise they throw back the problem to us, say to us, the issues happen because of our guest. Summary, Hotel is always Right, Hotel No Problem, If have problem is Guest problem.

Yesterday have a great dinner buffet at Tiffin restaurant in Weil Hotel, Mr. Mathy is a very kind restaurant manager, he provide good service to us. Another manager Mr. Jaya, also very helpful and polite. Thanks both of you.

Good location, adjacent with Ipoh Parade. Food was good. Rooms was nice. Tv not properly working at room 1014, connection problem I guess. But my parents room 1015, the TV is working fine. Bathtub in both rooms. Maybe all rooms are with bathtub. Only the parking space a bit eerie; because of that we decided to park our car at the parking lot next to the hotel building. The rooftop view was amazing.

Large n convenient. Highly recommend for family and friends.

Scrumptious seafood buffet 😋 at Tiffin. The prawns are still dancing in the aquarium and fish are really fresh. Love their smoked salmon. Moist and not salty. The manager, Mathy and staff are always polite and helpful. Weil Hotel is always our first choice whenever we’re here. Overall, clean room, courteous and helpful staffs.

Attended a wedding dinner — poor service, short of staff and staff doesn't seem to be trained.

The best place to dine in They have indoor and outdoor dinning area.

Good food, best hospitality and the hotel crew are also so polite and very helpful!

Breakfast is not standard as 5 stars hotel even during covid, should plenty of choices. Breakfast beverages especially Coffee so disappointed 👎. Not recommended to stay here again. Sorry.

Worst new year eve had. If u cant cope with the crowd, plz dont accept reservation. Limited menu was present upon ordering at 7.30pm. Ask why. Because using the same kitchen from ground floor coffeehouse, after two course is served after an hour wait, the rest of my family waited til 10.30pm and nothing was served. Ask the staff and said 10minute and confirmed have and No apology from the staffs. If u cant cope with the dinner to be served at different level due to high paying patron at ground floor, might as well as serve drinks only. Some tables the drinks only came one hour later. After waiting for 3-hours, some table start emptied by angry customer with no dinner at all. Tq Weil hotel. N happy New Year.

Not recommended for stay during MCO. Bad customer service ever. They have a glass and mug in room, but cant accommodated simple guest request of plates and silverware for take-out food as the hotel kitchen closed during MCO. They mentioned a lot of customers requested the same thing and they just can’t do anything about it. Maybe they should listen to the guests feedback and improve their service. I recommend provide plastic plastic plate/bowl. In the website they mentioned “ Whatever we do, we strive to be extraordinary in our day to day commitment. Your comfort is our utmost focus, expressed through simple and uncomplicated luxury in rediscovering new experiences in places well explored. ” This is pure irony. At the end I have to use glass to eat my curry mee 🤣🤣

Bad service, this is my second bad experience for F&B in this hotel. Paid premium price today at tea lounge to experience it.

I tried their current program called Work From Hotel. Very responsive and helpful help from Amirul from the Sales Team. Same goes to the Lounge staff. Always smiling.
Weil has spacious area for people like us to work. With soft music, nice ambience and safe parking. areas for improvement: the air con was a bit warm in general, Weil is a good hotel.

A very bad experience in this hotel where the check in progress takes more than 15 mins. Alright, successfully checked in and get our room key, it was supposing to be excited because I read over the reviews from internet, most of them are giving high stars rated and good comments! Nonetheless, our given room is 2 single beds instead of my booking it supposingly a king size bed! I Instantly called to Guest Service Centre (0) and asked, a lady said will get their Reception to change for us, and we just waiting in the room! After 15 mins, none of the hotel staff is coming and I made the second call to the (0), the lady keep saying already passed this issue to Reception, and we waited another 15 mins! I made the third calls to (0), and asked how long should I wait? The lady like pushing this to the Reception again! How can this be irresponsible to your guests?! End up we straight go down to lobby and question the Receptionist who checked in for us! And she takes more than 15 mins to check on their system again! The receptionist didn’t aware that our calls request to (0) when we questioned her, if we didn’t go down to lobby is this mean that we are waiting for nothing in the room?! Counter next to us has been done checking in for 2 individual guests and we still waiting for her to change our room! Last! The receptionist told us our room is yet to be clean and will need to wait another 20 mins again! THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING AND HOW CAN A 4-STARS HOTEL BE LIKE THIS?

The Chinese restaurant on the second floor serves Non Pork Non lard Cantonese cuisine.
The Cantonese classic dishes were very very delicious and I highly recommend its signature smoked roasted duck
The Chinese executive chef is from Hong Kong and I foresee this restaurant will do very well with such quality and reasonably priced hotel dishes.

Stayed 1 night and was impressed with the hotel design and ambiance. Granted my request for room near the lift. Room is spacious, unique design and a real 4-star hotel. Staff friendly and polite. Truely recommended!

Bad service at roof top. Valentines day dinner horrible service. RM 288 is a joke. Many tables next to me were also complaining. Really bad experience. NOT going to this hotel anymore for sure. By the way we are married 38years. Not new couple.

Stayed 2 Nights at this Hotel. When I call housekeeping and ask for extra towels, they want to charge me RM5 per towel. Extra pillows is RM5 per pillow. Stated there in Booking. Com its 5 star hotel. And I paid for premium room. Doesn’t feel premium at all! Cheapskate hotel! Never in my life been travels all over the world I need to pay for extra towels and pillows! The room not so clean. Deco is nothing great! And I paid RM682 for 2 nights. Not RM60 for 2 nights and charge RM5 for extra everything.!

We visit this hotel atleast twice a year to spend a weekend and chill. Its always been a great experience and this time was no different. The rooms are good. Reception services, room service, in room dining, house keeping are all excellent. Very well trained and responsive staff.

Really nice hotel, interesting deco and great view overall. Staff are friendly and the location adjacent to Ipoh Parade Mall make it convenience to shop and dine around.

Overall bad customer service, it is getting bad to worst! if ur hotel is 5 star better start learning from those are more expert on it like W HOTEL N so! but your weil hotel don't even deserve any star!

The hotel has quiet and spacious rooms. The rates are affordable and very convenient cos it is attached to a mall. They have good halls for having functions. The food is good and service is good. Their hotel staff are polite.

I'm not sure who's idea it is to spray a whole load of perfume all over the hotel. The moment you walked into the lobby, an over-powering smell of perfume will invade your sense of smell. You'll be looking around for the perfume shop, as the experience is similar when you walked into a departmental store's perfume section. Even the elevators are not spared. If you're allergic or sensitive to it, you might have a problem. The decor is modern, room is comfortable, and services are okay.

Check in process needs to be improved. We booked 4 rooms and were not assigned rooms immediately and had to wait till past 3pm. 2 rooms were only available after 5pm. Having said that, rooms were spacious and comfortable.

There is unexpected journey to stay in this hotel. Super service and environment. Room is extremely look nice and clean. Modern design with worth the price paid. My daughter love the bathtub so much! Facilities like swimming pools and bar at roof top. Comfortable with nice view. Only not satisfy is the car park system. Card access always have problem, stuck at the auto gate few times.

One of the nicest friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in! Excellent room beautifully maintained and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff everyone was so nice. Great choices for breakfast too. The rooftop pool and bar were also great places to chill!
The hotel is also connected to Ipoh parade shopping centre which had an excellent choice of shops and restaurants. Overall we were very very pleased with our choice of hotel. Thank you all at the Weil.

This hotel has a good strategic location which downstairs is the Ipoh parade mall. The staff is helpful and friendly. My friend was sick when we travel suppose we only can check in at 3pm however the staff see we wait at lobby, she let us check in early so that my friend can have a rest well. It bed and bathroom is clean also. Satisfied when live in here.

Hotel is in a great location, rooms are big, bright and modern with nice bathroom. Facilities need upgrading. Additing a gym, sauna and improving the pool flooring to less slippery will add value to the room rate. Dinner buffet food variety was good but need to improve the taste. Breakfast is not to expectation; needs improvement. Overall not value for money.

Hotel is nice n clean. Breakfast spread is average but ventilation is not good. Clothes n hair stink after breakfast. Links up to the mall n its really convenient.

Good hotel and good room, but worst experience in checking in. Check in time 3pm we arrived 3:30pm and still room is not ready, now it’s 5pm and still our room is not ready. We came with family and babies sleeping in the lobby area. What’s the point of paying for a room and cannot even go in it even after 5pm! I understand the holiday times means more people coming in but Weil Hotel please sort this problem out.

A convenient place. Shopping and eateries are nearby. The staff are so accommodating. They even helped me and a few others in tying Saree for an Indian wedding.

Maybe my standards have fallen since arriving in Malaysia a week ago, but this place was great! All the plumbing and ac worked. Wifi worked. The roof has a nice view. It is a little odd that the bathroom has a giant window into the rest of the room, but otherwise the room is very nicely designed.

This hotel is one of new establishment in Ipoh. Hotel staffs are very friendly, environment are clean and very contemporary. The F&B outlets serve delicious food. As a tourist looking for food adventure, the Chinese restaurant here will definitely surprise you.

We booked 2 rooms for a 4 days 3 nights stay. I have written few e-mails earlier requesting for early check-in and enquire on fridge availability as I am breastfeeding and baby will be tired after the car journey. The reply on the fridge enquiry is lukewarm stating basically: we don’t have proper fridge. When asked for alternative solution, none was given. Unfriendly to speak the least. Upon arrival, one room was given at 2:30. We were only be able to check in for the second …room at 3:30pm as they said the bath tub was broken. Then, the aircon was not working well and basically from 2:30-4:30 maintenance guys are coming in and out. Despite telling them not to ring the door bell or call as my baby finally dozed off, there seems to be no communication. And hence they kept waking up my baby. The mattress of the baby cot is super thin and sink in the middle. The parking is not straightforward at all as you need to go through the hotel exit and the mall exit. The parking ticket work sometimes. Few other friends who stayed here faced similar issue. There was also strong smell of smoke in both rooms despite it being a non smoking floor. And this morning I found stain at the reverse side of the duvet cover. Some of the staff couldn’t even understand our enquiries. When I asked: How long will it take for the room to be ready? The response was a repeatedly “I understand”. In conclusion, this is a 3 stars hotel pretending to be a 5 stars hotel.

We were just passing through. The hotel is clean and the service excellent. Unfortunately, the rooms are very ring-loving and our room even had a connecting door through which we had to listen to a Chinese TV station until 3 o 'clock in the morning and then to a snoring person. We also found the bed a bit uncomfortable. But this is nagging at a high level. Breakfast with many Asian dishes and the service was pepect. But the best hotel in the Centrum is sure to be.

So much to love about this hotel. 1) Location is very convenient to subway and endless choice of food. 2) Unlimited Wi-Fi 3) Modern and clean.

Love this place. Nice, cozzy room and awesome place to stay. Staff are so nice and friendly. Breakfast nice however it would be better to make more variaties. I would like to give 5 stars to this happening place!

Overall the hotel room was nice (my parents stayed over night). However, the toilet on the first floor was not maintained and was quite dirty. Not a great experience for restaurant and hotel guests.

Nice hotel. A bath tub and also swimming pool available at rooftop. With good view of Ipoh rooftop bar and good f&b. Just beside ipoh parade makes it even better to shop or just get the basic toiletries or any bite to eat on the go.

Pro: Very nice infinity pool at the roof top. Breakfast is great too. Next to a big shopping mall is nice for shopping and fast food. Con: Bed is not comfortable. Stay here for two nights in two different rooms. Both rooms beds are small and hard. Didn't sleep well at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was well maintained, well equipped and conveniently located just next to the mall. We could just troop over to the cinema for late night movies which we did :) Good breakfast spread which gave us a great start to each day.

Hotel room and toilet was spacious and pleasant. Service was poor as we had to wait for baby cot for more than 5 hours after check in. Wide selection of food at breakfast but taste was mediocre. Half boil egg was raw.

First time staying, I'm surprised it a very good hotel. Rooms at the concept floor are highly recommend. Highly convenience because Ipoh Parade is just next door. Definitely will stay here again when in Ipoh.

Had a Wedding reception here on 28th october 2017. Food was terrible, prawns and fish not fresh, mushy. Food quality completely different from food tasting. Slow and poor service during dinner. Wedding Executive not helpful at all. Horrible event/function management. Rooms were nice and clean though. Say no to wedding event or any event in Weil. Ruined my once a lifetime event, my wedding dinner.

Thank you for allowing us to host our wedding reception, 9 September 2017, in an excellent hotel like Weil’s Hotel. We have been amazed by the professionalism and the assist from the Hotel team members which has been provided to us and our guests on that day. We would like to especially thank Mr. Dharuna Bathmanathan and Mr. Sammugasundram @ Chef Shan for their excellent effort in making our event a night to remember. Mr. Dharuna has been an excellent wedding event manager who has been helping us plan our reception since early 2016. We found it easy to communicate with Mr. Dharuna via email and mobile phone and his response to our quires and requests was very fast. Mr. Dharuna has also made it easy for us communicate our demands and wants which came true on the night of our event. Chef Shan provided a delicious buffet and made sure our guest had enough food and the feedback from my guest was a whooping 5 star rating for the food. Mr. Shan, has also been helpful when it came to the menu selection as he made it easy for us to plan our buffet dinner based on our likings. He was also present at the event and made sure everything went accordingly. Thanks again Weil Hotel.

Good location very convenient and nice room.

A very nice hotel to stay in Ipoh. The rooms are amply furnished, bright and clean. The daily breakfast buffet offered us lots of different choices. Situated in town, it is very close by to the popular local eataries. The hotel is connected directly to Ipoh Parade Mall. On-site parking is available and are complimentary for hotel guests. Their parking meter payment/guest-redemption system however, needs to be overhauled.

Actually I was at tiffin for lunch buffet with my friends. Nice place very comfortable, nice ambience, nice friendly customer service and good price.
Only one thing is that very less choices of food for lunch buffet.

Weil is a beautiful hotel but the services is quite poor. During check in, it takes quite a long time and the staff is hardly making a eye contact and trying to have a conversation. After getting the key card to your room, there is no mentioning where is the lift, you just gotta know your ways around. The room looks great with the interior design and the toilet is awesome. But the BIGGEST problem? The toilet having some major drainage problem. The water when you shower just wouldn't drain, it just flood. Contacted the receptionist, they didn't know how to handle the situation, transfered me to the maintenance department and the personal just come over to check and I got another call from receptionist. I didn't want to change my room because it is all these are during 11pm. Service was already bad, the drainage problem is super unpleasant.

Rooms are big. Bed is comfy. Newly refurbished hotel. Highlight are the roof bar & lawn with infinity swimming pool.

One of the best 4-Star hotel in Ipoh, Perak. The best attraction is the Infinity Pool located on the top of the hotel with awesome nature views. Using the contemporary urban retreat concepts, they successfully brings the unique nature element into life. The hotel itself connected to the shopping mall, which means that everyone can easily access all the tenant in just a breeze of time. The Weil Hotel deserved to be put in your vacation list.

Pretty nice hotel for Ipoh. Good event staff. Food was better than expected. Nice modern decor, though room can get quite cold in the morning.

I like aesthetic of this place. The ambience despite located in the middle of Ipoh Town made it unique. It'a also attached to a shopping mall but that doesn't affect its feeling.

Awesome place for a short gateway. Suitable for kids too. Will go again.

Business hotel. As a regular here, I see comfort and convenience as my primary reason to stay here. And there is a access link to Ipoh Parade Mall but access will be closed at 10PM. Great F&B but service can be poor at time especially the restaurant in the lobby area.

Nice comfy and spacious hotel room. When we were there it was somewhat under renovation, but overall it gives a very homely feeling. The breakfast was quite good also.

This is a new hotel with contemporary outlook and design. I highly recommend the Chinese restaurant for dinner. The price is not as expensive as some fanciful joints. My most memorable dish is the smoked duck with lychee wood. It's their in house specialty.
