Niece strategically located. Walking distance To pahlawan mall, st paul’s hill, Santuary Building, the famous Red Buildings. Easy to find food around the hotel. Speed mart is just oposite the hotel to grab any forgotten stuffs to bring along. Now renamed to Noble Resort Hotel-very clean and safe. Grab cost range from as low as Rm5 To Rm7 To Jonkers.

It was premium 5 star novotel manage by accors team b4, but now replaced with another new Managment team from 4 star hotel. The standard aren’t up to par as b4 anymore…

Bad customer service. You will not know your booking is actually confirmed or not. Booked through Accor website and received confirmation on my booking. However, when I was there, the hotel isn’t operating, there was no customer service inform me that the hotel is closed on my staying period. Ended up I have to place to stay in melaka on that day and I have to travel to another state for accommodation. Complaint this to Accor group, customer service from Accor group was helpful but unfortunately there were no response from Novotel melaka itself.

It's a wonderful place to stay with Novotel melaka during my business trip in Jan2020. however, their customer service is poor as I had been sending email for double charge since 5th Feb and yet to get any reply from them… not a single reply on Noted, will investigate or will revert to me asap. extremely disappointed with this irresponsible customer service. will not stay in this hotel anymore due to poor customer service.

Despite the hotel is getting older now but all the facilities are still acceptable. The location is good and I think it is one of the best hotel in Malacca. I enjoy the executive lounge and there are many variety of drinks available.

I have paid for 3 rooms from 27 December 2019 to 29 December 2019. Even though ask to make up room due to dirty bedlinen but they simply refused to change. The rooms are in very bad shape. A lot of items are spoilt and unusable. The worst is even though you paid for the membership, you were not treated well as per the perks, terms and conditions stated in the card. Really getting from bad to worse. Not worth paying. Do consider if you are going to book the rooms.

My second stay here, first stay left me a very good impression. This run, tells me I better go find another hotel. Check in service was horrible. Wanted a good vacation for my birthday, end up so upset.

Very nice room, all staff are very friendly, many variant of food. For sure we will be back again next time with family.

My reservation could not be found but manager Shan took care of it. All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
First night we didn’t have air conditioning but weren’t willing to call for help at 3 am. I advised the desk in the morning that I felt this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in years and wanted it fixed when I was finished breakfast. It was. Again, Shan got involved and was very solicitous. He’s dealing with a sub average hotel.
In our new room, there was no soap dish in the shower only the brackets to hold one. There was no plug in the sink. These details matter but the chain needs to invest.
Altogether the staff were gracious and helpful but the hotel need attention.

Stayed one night. We arrived at late night so when we saw the entrance were dim, we were worried. They had dimmed the lights at night. It’s good in a way. The single bed room is okay for thin/ medium person. Get king size if you are a bigger person. Beds were super comfortable. Room were medium size but well equipped except no ironing board (or I missed it). Bathroom was huge with shower and toilet separate. TV had good channels. Breakfast was good with some variety. Room service was also good. Location is surrounded by shops, massage shop and restaurants. Overall enjoyed the stay.

Hotel should have a dedicated counter/staff to deal with large group for check in/check out matter. I have to wait in q quite long for hotel staff to settle with their check in/out. The pillow is not so comfortable and disturbed my sleep.

Comfortable rooms! With a bathroom that overlooks the bed. You can close it up with the blinds. Pool is slightly on the smaller side but it satisfies the kids! The gym looks good on the outside and well equipped. Great place to stay and to come back and enjoy after a long day out, food hunting!

Awesome service in premiere lounge, Nice food and nice people. Well maintained room, standard Novotel configuration and amenities. However, I don't really "feel welcomed" during check-in.

Location wise is really convenient, it is located at Melaka Raya city area near to Jonker street. It is easy to find parking space around it. Lunch at the restaurant was great, they serve variety cuisines. It was worth the money for the food.

Good hotel; consistent to the usual Novotel standards of decent hotel at a reasonable price. Service was prompt and was a breeze to check-in and out. One complaint was the faulty access card reader at one of the elevators. It's a big security concern because anyone can just go to any floors in the hotel and exit without restrictions. Made a complaint to the Service Desk, hopefully they rectified it immediately.

Location was alright with many attractions nearby. Room was comfortable and cosy but the back light was not functional upon entering the room. Breakfast provided was enjoyable and there was a wide variety. Overall a great stay.

The chef's went all the way out to prepare high tea for both of us in vegetarian. Serving and also on my birthday dinner eggless cake together with vegetarian food.

Friendly staff. Very helpful and accommodating, from check in to check out. Always smiling! Room spacious and bright. Our rooms faced the sea, beautiful view at night, with lights from anchored ships. Bathroom is also very nicely proportioned, with shower stall and toilet separated from each other. Toiletries also quirky and nice. Pool is well-maintained with lots of seatings. Kids loved the slides and playground sets. Breakfast spread has lots of choices. The cheese omelette is delicious. A bit slow on table clean-up but perhaps that's due to the heavy traffic of guests at breakfast.

Good enough I guess. There were some men smoking though. Even though it's a non smoking zone. But that's just the ignorance on the side of the customers. Overall, the place was comfortable. I liked the children's zone. It let my younger brothers play while my parents looked for a room. Would come here again.

Average club room stay Made pretty much last minute book back in 2017. Upon arrival rooms still not ready. Once we got the rooms; surprised they shared us with other guest. So after making complains; they give all of us upgraded suite. Suite layout is decent. Everything is in order. Club lounge evening cocktail and breakfast is pretty decent. Not much of a food choices; but at least the food tasted OK. View of the sea/Melacca island was pretty decent. Cozy place to relax and chat. Breakfast at the main coffee house have pretty decent spread and the food tasted OK.

Every day, the electricity in the room would cut off & reset every few minutes. This would happen for an hour or so. Maintenance came & checked but did nothing as it didn't happen when they were in the room. I was told to "see if it still happen". Only resolved on the 3rd day, past midnight, when it started cutting out in front of them, it happened 10 times before they showed up & another 4 times while they were there. It was a simple fix that could have been resolved the 1st… time they were informed. Also, maintenance staff thought we could'nt understand malay & were making flippant comments throughout & joking about the situation. They were not happy when I told them off. Front office offered to change our rooms when I complained, but packing, moving & unpacking all the luggage at midnight is not an option. They helped to clear a choked shower that flooded, but left dirty boot prints when they left. Not something you want to come back to late at night. The breakfast buffet is the worse i've had in any hotel. Gluggy noodles that tasted only of chilli sauce, the worst coffee & tea i've had in my life. Not exaggerating! I don't mind if the selection is small, but it was constantly depleted & replenishment was slow. Wifi also not the best, but its the least of the problems in this hotel…

Nice room, nice assortment for breakfast but the deposit is according to the customer.

My stay was on the 30th — 31st December, 2017. Overall I'll said 4 stars hotel 1 star service. Massive check in queue and It took more than half an hour to check in. Then reaching the counter there’s another customer complaining and the receptionist handling the complaint customer without looking or request us for waiting, basically is pretending like we are not around, well this is not a good practice at all for a 4 stars hotel. Hotel lobby is hot and after check in the counter, receptionist doesn't even guide us where to go and we have to find our way. I took the superior king room, the shower room does not have hot water and I called the operator no one picks up and I have to walk down to the lobby to address the issue. Overall the room ambience, the king bed is a plus (not the pillow), the rest is just normal. It is good for a business day stay because of the following: 1. Shower room door using magnetic closure so you cant lock it. 2. See through shower room, yeah as their hotel advertising. Is "see through" good for couples though. 3. Your daily bowel movement activity area can't lock the door so yeah, good luck with it. Overall stay I give a thumbs down for first time experience and just so you know the price is not cheap estimate near RM480 per night. Like I said earlier, 4 stars hotel 1 star service.

Lousy Christmas Eve dinner buffet. Not much variety, most food finish around 9pm and no refill? Cutleries used for serving food is not proper, who use spoon to cut cakes?! Desserts counter are so messy, not even a single cake slicer is used. Also the ice cream use soup spoon to eat? What kind of 4 star hotel is this?
Not worth RM88 for this kind of buffet! Very sorry to say, no next time.

The room was comfortable and spacious, with good attention to details for furnishing. There's even a pillow menu, which was great! Gym and swimming pool are clean and big for Meleka hotel standard. Children will love the slide by the children's pool. Breakfast buffet is of better standard compared to Hatten. Location is slightly further away from the malls but I don't mind the additional walk given the comfortable room. I enjoyed my stay.

The Executive room was great, comfy bed n nice deco. The gym n pool overall great though not so big. Only during my stay too many tourist from China, thus breakfast time not so calm.

Lost count how many times we stayed here; but so far so good. Parking is convenient; rooms are not bad, although the toilet shower could be a little cleaner — some grime appearing on the floor/glass area. Good views out to the Straits of Malacca.

I brought my toddler, and it was easy since the service was great. Love the parking area, so convenient. The room is spectacular. Staffs at the cafe were amazing, they helped look out for my daughter while I get my food. Amazing. Say hello to the helpful head waiter since he helped me with my daughter, Hana.

We got a free upgrade to premier executive room and it was nice since we can get access to the premier lounge, enjoying the cappuccino and easy checkout procedure. The view from our room is quite nice since it is facing pool, however I was expecting there will be a bathtub since I like to pampered myself in it. My kids really enjoying the pool facility. It was a kid friendly and have a great ambience. But perhaps a changing room for babies/infant at the pool area will be great because we need to change their nappies immediately after swimming. The kids' room, it's better if the kids' movie are shown. Overall, it is a nice place for them to get wild instead of running in the lobby area. Great idea of locating it near to lobby.

Location of hotel is good as it is close to mall, cafes, etc. Weekend is busy time for hotel, and would recommend having more staff to attend to guests' requests. Toiletries, towels, and slippers were not stocked when we checked into room. : — ( I wanted to use the computers at lobby area, but all were not functioning. : — ( F&B was good. Staff were polite and courteous. Thank you to F&B team. Proper functioning of facilities and lifts and staff politeness compensated for the negatives. Overall, pleasant experience. :-)

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in Novotel Malacca. Although we arrived in the wee hours, our check in was a breeze. The rooms were clean and cozy. This speaks very highly of its housekeeping team. I even managed to secure a connecting room with my 2 teenage children. Breakfast offered varied from western to local delights. Safety was optimal as the carpark was well-lighted and were also manned by several security guards. I was even offered an option to book through its front desk officer directly in future should I encounter any issue with its online option. I would very much recommend this hotel to all.

To be honest, this is quite a good place to spend your money here. It is affordable, have a very nice view, strategic location and clean. Hopefully it will be maintained as it is for the next couple of years. *Highly recommend.

Hotel was very new, clean and impressive all round ID. Room details were great. Staff was very helpful. The only dissatisfaction was that one of the three lifts were not working and so there was a lot of waiting time for the lift due to the weekend crowd. Also, there was no sign or notice informing guests as to the reason the lift was not functioning.

Impression when arrive lobby area very look high class. Room overall is keep standard of Novotel brand. Amenity is good. Staff very helpful. Food is not so variety. Internet need improve speed.

Was truly an amazing and comfortable experience for a short stay. Hotel looks very vibrant and and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast if could be better would be perfect. Need to improve on the children playroom because it has a little wee wee smell… Overall it was a satisfying stay at Novotel and would stay there again if I were to travel to Malacca in future.

Regular to this hotel. Would've given four or five stars on previous stays, but this time, it was quite a disappointment. Power cutoff for nearly 1 hour, poorly-trained Premier Lounge manager, who is not even able to get the gents toilet a hand soap. Titbits and biscuits taken off the lounge, poor water flow, slow response to requests for toiletries. That said, checking in is still a wonderful experience, with the reception staff going out of their way to accommodate to our requests. Thanks!

The room is comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping was slow. We went out out shopping morning and came back at 4pm. Room still not clean. Make payment for hotel taxes for six rooms on arrival by cash but front desk did not issue any invoice. Hotel room was paid earlier by credit card. Was ask to make payment again on check out. Very disappointed. Till check out, no invouce was issued. Management should look into this pl. Breakfast was terrible. Food was salty. They should taste the food first before serving to customer.

Service is not very fast for checking in as there is only 3 counters available. 3 counters and we are unsure where to check in. Room was nice, spacious. Good for couples and/or family stay. But the bedsheets are stained (not cleaned well). The towel holder in the toilet is broken. Overall, nice hotel to stay in.

We booked 5 rooms for our 5 little families. I must say that the stay was a pleasant one, greeted by smiling faces of the staffs. The room was nice and clean, but when we put baby cot, the space became smaller. It was still bearable and value for money we paid. The service was excellent and the responses were fast. The breakfast spread was okay and very basic but satisfying. However, maybe the management can include maple syrup at the pancake/waffle station next time. Thank you for the experience. We'll definitely come again.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. In terms of parking the car park has ample space. The rooms are spacious and clean. The reception staff are reasonably friendly but could be improved.

There was a small hitch occurred during my check in on April 29, 2017. But the officer in charge was very kind to help my check in smooth. Staffs are very friendly. I was upgraded to Executive Room (thank you so much). Great view with super comfy bed & pillows. Love the breakfast — delicious & varieties. Plenty of parking space. But, the WC at the Lobby was quite dirty when I was there at midnight. It was very short trip for us. Overall is a great stay. Definitely would come back for the hospitality.

Great hotel locates at the heart of Melaka. Convenient and short walk to malls such as Pahlawan Megamall and Hatten Mall. Plenty of convenience store, restaurants, cafe and massage around the hotel. Room is very comfortable with firm beds and nice pillow. Comes with a lounge chair to relax. A/c is wonderful, toilet is large and spacious and comes with a see thru glass to the shower.

Great location to any nearby local spot, worth the money for 4 star hotel, but little unsatisfied with the dinner buffet, few choices only.

Hotel is 5 min to Mahkota parade shopping Center and 10 min Afamosa. Hotel is new. Carpark is well lighted with security. There is only 3 lifts and is most time crowded. It's a non smoking hotel. Hotel personnel is warm. Room is clean. Breakfast is not bad, some Western and local food.

Very bad services. Lift very slow. Lots of sharp edges. Very dangerous for family with kids. breakfast not enuf. Not worth the money paid. Definetly will share my experienced to others and will not recommend this hotel to all.

Novotel Melaka is a fairly new modern hotel in Meleka. It is located in the city centre and near to a lot of food and shops. The bathrooms are glass with blinds which may make some people uncomfortable.

Good value for a 4 star hotel of its category. Well located for those visiting Malacca with a lot of the food and tourist attractions probably on your to do list within 2kms. The suites are generous and decently equipped but like most hotels, could do with more and better outlet plug placement especially by the bedsides. A thoughtful guest experience, hotel Wi-Fi that doesn't require you to go through a load of pages and irritating setups, just turn on your Wi-Fi and select your room number… done! Opened in Sept 2015, hopefully they can keep their standards down the line where most hotels fail.

Location, fantastic. Room, very nice. Food, better than expected for a 4 star hotel. Only issue is, people should dry themselves up before going back to their room. Wet lift floors… Overall. A place to stay when in Melaka.
