Bad service… your mistake put wrong price on agoda website and then asked guest to cancel the booking. So angry with your stupid service and action to overcome the problem. Tqvm for wasting my time.

We got stuck in the lift 3 times in 2 days! Bathtub water heater also faulty, had to boil our own hot water. And water kept trickling down even though I stopped it. Was left with no water in the Bathtub in no timel! If it were a budget hotel, I'd understand. But it's a 4 star. I did not pay RM300+/night to keep getting stuck in the lift. Thanks, but no thanks, not coming again.

Very friendly staff. Always give tiptop service. Beautiful room with nice view. All the facilities very good. Have a clean surrounding areas. Highly recommended to others.

Not recommend at all. Pool & gym can only open at 9am. Shortage of worker. Service too slow and not responsive at all. No buffet breakfast only serve at room. Worse hotel ever stay before.

Frankly, this was my very first trip to the Straits & Suites Hotel Melaka. The Online Reviews, pictures of rooms etc was fantastic. As such my family approx 9 of us decided to book into the property. When we arrived there on the 27th, we were kept waiting from 3pm to 7.30pm and finally we got to the rooms to our shocking state, it was a total disaster. The rooms were in a devastating state and if not the worst but it was 2nd to none. It was in the most horrible conditions that I have ever experienced, filthy, dirty, dusty and total disregards to the SOPs. Etc. I immediately cancelled my reservations and demanded a 100% refunds for all my 3 Premier Suites. I have a complete video and pictures of the entire experience and I have a written statement from the hotel for the incident with an assurance that I will refunded in the next 24 hours but it has been almost 72 hours I have yet to receive my refund from the property and from booking. Com. I will be officially lodging a complain with The Tourism Ministry and with MKN on this incident if I do not receive my full refund. please stay away from this property. With Total Honesty

Accessible to the town. Ample parking space available. Very spacious room. All rooms has straits view. Free Wi-Fi available. Has the basic room amenities, including mini fridge and water heater. Breakfast buffet was simple but ok.

Pros: Service is Awesome. Manager Ms Rhicca Elfizar hospitality, helpful and make our stay a Great one. Make us feels so homely.
Breakfast is just right for us as we love the nasi lemak and sambal chilli.
Room is clean and well maintain for 3 days stay.
Cons… we came at the time of one elevator was down and was during peak period.
Overall… our family with two adolescent, one senior citizen and an adult are Happy and enjoy the stay… two thumbs up.

For me good service and can give 5 stars.

Feel like being cheated. Agree to pay a King size room but instead of paying deluxe twin bed.
Bfast suck. Chicken not cooked and no food being replenished. Staff attitude slow and not professional.

The room and scenery was good… sky deck restaurant was superb. Delicious food with romantic atmosphere.

I’ve never met such unprofessional staff in all my travels. Refused to give our deposit back as we didn’t receive a receipt from your incompetent staff, who forgot and simply said they didn’t give it because we never paid. Although my partner signed a invoice with room total and deposit. When asked to check cctv they refused, then A manager tells us it’s our fault because we never asked for the receipt! What an absolute joke!

I were there to celebrate belated mother's day… it was a awesome experience when we were surprised by Dass, Wan and the entire team, they brought flower and cake to our table. And not to forget the kitchen crew were very friendly too towards my son… keep rocking guys.

Very attentive staff and good hotel!

Stayed the straits hotel from 15 to 17 june. Check in was slowed to snail. Requested for high floor yet given a low floor. Room is spacious but strains on the bed n pillow case. Wondered if they did change the bedsheet. Air con was faulty but was eventually fixed by the technician. TV was faulty too. Gave up and requested for a change of room. Was upgraded to a suite. The room is spacious and views are good. But there was sewage smell in the room come out from the toilet. No toilet paper and hand towels. Called housekeeping and it took more than an hour to send to the room after reminder calls made. location is good but hotel is rundown. Hotel is rated 4* but I will rate is as 3*. I will not recommend this hotel.

2. Room experiece — from queen suite heavy ciggarate smell and sofa has stained, dusty floor… upgrade by the hotel change to king suite. The king suite is much better clean and tidy.

5. F&B — room service just nice. Nasi goreng kampung is tasty & pizzaria to much chesse yooo… haha. Breakfast is fair. No comment
6. Location superb easy access to mny attraction. Can check in 1 time to believe :) Note for guest: u can use a grab if u lazy to drive a car. If u drive a car out from the hotel u might need a season parking card where u need to put a deposit of rm 30. Just follow the rulezzz everything gonna be smoothhhh ya.

Didn't expect a 5star hotel as I staying in 4star, and paying in 4star price. We are surprised that all bed room have build in 8ft kitchen cabinet and comes with a sink. More convenient for us because we bringing a infant, More space to put our baby stuff. So my room doesn't look so messy. The swimming pool is moderate n nice. Infinity pool and we have sea view. Gym room facility is nice. My hubby can do his full exercise there. Nice to stay and we will recommend our friend to stay here.
