Excellent service from staff. Green and peaceful place. Have a very beautiful nature. Subhanallah.

If you want to feel close to the nature it's a perfect place. No AC no lavish rooms. Just like you are in the jungle but quiet comfortable. Budget friendly cottage under RM 50. Near to beach they also provide other activities like island hopping etc.

Lovely hotel. Velmi is eco-friendly. And is conveniently located. And beaches.

Had a great stay over here. Walking distance to Pantai Cenang. Very reasonable price. Each room can only accomodate 2 person but if you have extra one person to stay with you then you need to pay RM20 extra per night. You will definitely love your stay :)

A cottage with unique concept of making a perfect sojourn. Rooms or tents, both are squeaky clean with a lot of greenery around. There's a parking space for scooters. Well, I would say if you are visiting Langkawi then it can be counted as one of the attractions as well.

The best value for money. A great place to experience nature outside the room. Spacious bathroom even the main room is slightly small. The Wi-Fi is also blazing fast, great for hd video consumption. 11/10 would come again. Note for travelers: 1. This place is good for couples or solo traveler as the max people per room is 2. NO extra bed provided. 2. NO tv. Extra fans and iron board can be rented. No kettles but hot water is available at the front desk. 3. There's a lot of mosquitoes so prepare yourself some mosquito repellent or/and net. Those are also available for rent.

This time — a bit disappointed. I have stayed here a few years ago for a month or longer and had a great time. Internet was fast and reliable so that I could get work done but this time nothing worked, though I had to pack my stuff and sit in the restaurant next door to get work done. Which was great because I like the garden area, the staff, drinks and food there but if you pay for a place you also would like to sit on the nice bungalow enjoy the peace and quiet, the lush green and fresh air around you (incl. The nice 'Jungle sound').

Mosquitoes will give you company if you alone. So much mosquitoes. Buy a mosquito net, coil compulsory. Ts budget hotel only. Balcony each room. Room spacious ok only. Washroom little bigg.

Pros:- 1) Hostel at 6$ per day that's cheap I think the cheapest in pentai cenang at least. 2) Close to a big resort which has swimming pool and a beach. 3) Cheap hotel and costly I would suggest pt bamboo they are good as the price is cheap and you can have good food there. 4) The tent gives you a good experience 5) It's like living in a jungle ya that birds and small lizards etc are good for those who love nature. Cons:- 1) The cooling is not enough in the morning as it has only fan 2) Mosquitoes are trouble some even though you get a alout provided by the hotel. 3) Not suitable for couple those who want to chill out. 4) Try cottage not tents if you want some good time Overall I liked the cottage just got a bike for Rm 35 and explored Langkawi it was so beautiful and will visit it definitely when I will go there next time for sure.

PROS: Loved the tent! It's in a beautiful garden with parakeets flying about. It's a good location too. It's not swarming with people but it's a quick walk to food and fun. It's a relaxing environment. CONS: They do nickel and dime you for everything. Change of towels or sheets or borrowing a hairdryer will cost ya. We were there over a week so we were supposed to get house keeping at least once. That never happened. The front desk doesn't really know about the area. Only one employee was able to give us any information about the local ferry. We were told that taxis for the morning would be triple price and there was no other option. Grab is normal prices at early hours. Don't let the taxi or desk rip you off.

Different and a great place to stay. This is our fourth visit. We stay for a month each year. The environment is special and green in every respect. Each year the trees plants and ponds are more mature creating a wonderfully relaxing experience. If you love camping then T Garden is a tented area and just as beautiful. The wildlife is interesting and sometimes fun with playful monkeys visiting. I recommend this place for a few days or a month like us.

Nice rooms in Zen Garden and very well maintained.

We really like this resort! It has a lot of vegetation and some fauna; all very well kept and super clean, there is always staff checking that all this perfect and super friendly! This very well organized reception and no surprises at the time of paying! You have to choose between three styles of housing! We went for a week and stayed two! There is a beach 3 blocks! Highly Recommended and economical!

This cottage is simply nickel in every point, perfect hygiene, super cool welcome, greenery and nature at the top!
And for the price, it's downright cheap!
I really loved staying there!
And what you need to know is that the island is in duty free! So a "Tiger" beer that you buy in Kuala Lumpur at 18 Riggints, here it will cost 4 or 5 Riggints! Cool, right?

Good trip.

Cheap and not so cheerful I liked the look of this place from the pictures of the garden but this is where tranquility ends. I stayed in the bungalow rooms and there is no aircon and it’s absolutely stifling hot in the rooms. There are upstairs and downstairs rooms which means every time the person upstairs moves it sounds like an elephant on the roof. So difficult to sleep in the heat and with all the rumbling of others upstairs. The staff were ok but a bit difficult over a few minor things which added to the unpleasant experience. I left early and forfeited the few more nights I’d paid in advance because it was so unbearable. You have to pay extra for everything you need to make it comfortable including a fridge. The bathroom was slippery and pretty gross. Not even enough toilet paper was provided! If you are a poor backpacker with no money then this place might be fine, but if you make more than minimum wage then you deserve more for yourself so Don’t stay here it’s terrible.

"Kalornoe" place. There are biotoilets, which smelled bad all the time. The staff are not friendly, to requests are indifferent. Trash from the basket was not cleaned the entire period of stay, was stored all around the basket. The pledge document. Towels and bed linens are one for the whole period, hardly changed towels.

Great place! Good price and good conditions. We've stayed in the tent and it Was fantastic. A lot of parrots everywhere.

Excellent accommodation in a secluded area away from the noises, bungalow nestled in a Japanese-style garden, small but very functional accommodation, with a spectacular bathroom, well cared for and maintained. Nice and friendly Staff of serious help for every need. Pity that so much green attracts many mosquitoes… But with a fumigator to solve everything.

The unusual idea of the hotel is to live in a tent in a tropical garden, where parrots fly and rabbits jump. There are many beautiful and kind monkeys behind the territory. The room is small and has a shower, so it is always wet. There are 2 fans in the tent, but as it is tarpaulin, it is stuffy and humid. Close to the beach. Overall loved it.

I love nature. So I love T star because concept is nature. Living in tent. Nice place very recommended. The staff very friendly. Thanks for the services.

If you're a little adventurous you'll love staying here. We took a tent House in the garden. It was a nice place to stay. Woke up to the chirpy parrots… it was lovely. Caution: the washrooms are "portable" type, you might have issues with that. They were clean though.

Cool place and friendly staff. Good for chilling out (only if it wasn't for our noisy czech neighbours. )

Very comfortable. Superb clean. But for me only pool in front of room its not suitable. Mosquito and can be dengue.

Very nice concept. You're sleeping in a garden enclosure with some domestic birds. Peaceful.

If you don't mind small animals around in the evening and cold showers it's a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with very kind staff. Be aware that there are construction noises from a hotel being built next door for 1-2 more years.

Stayed in the cottage part… it's a tent. No AC … but only a problem during the day. At night it's quite comfortable. … but bed was covered in unknown animal poop. And had to deal with a lot of frogs in the evenings. The bed was a pool bed with a thin mattress on top. Cool concept. But very painful to sleep on. And the shower is in the porta potty… making it not very pleasant. Only lasted 1 night…

Quaint, peaceful, clean, cosy. Not perfect, but great value for money.

Good place for a cheap stay on Langkawi. But now is not so nice like a year ago and earlier. 1 year ago a group of macaques came here every morning for looking for food. But now there is building a new big hotel just beside of T Star and macaques no come. There are orthopedic pillows now. But AC in the room worked mediocre. Wifi worked poor. Water in the sink flows down very badly.

Great guesthouse with quaint little cottages. Everything here seems to have been considered when designing the cottages, from the beautiful landscaping to the interesting (and clean) pebbled bathrooms. We stayed in a standard double room and extended our stay twice we were so comfortable. In August it does get very warm in the rooms and a fan is a must — air conditioning would be a delight but an extravagance spared seemingly in order to keep costs down. Another perk of the double rooms is the decked porch with loungers just outside the door, with a privacy blind to make you feel isolated from the other cottages. It was great escaping the heat sat outside here watching the frogs in the evening, with plenty of mosquito repellent on of course! Would highly recommend a stay here.

Price quality is sochetaetsya.

Its good at night but sometimes you get frogs on your bed and so many insects. Bed is not comfy at all. 2 fans that are freaking useless. Tent gets sooooooo hottt. The only good thing is the shower and the Wi-Fi other than that this is horrible don't like it at all. Suggest you not to take this hotel it will ruin ur holiday. Go for anythig else.

Good rooms and price is cheap as well. However, you need to walk around 20 mins if you want to go to chenang area.

Perfect setting. Very nice hostel, friendly staff. The concept is amazing. You get a very nice and clean but simple room and that for cheap. You buy as extra what you want and need. Like at home. So you don't waste anything. Close to the beach. Close to the nature, including funny monkeys. Feels like paradise. Excellent restaurants very close by. Totally recommendable.

Really nice and friendly staff, the cottages just a little small but very comfortable, very quiet place, I will repeat my stay here when visit again langkawi. Beautiful island and really cheap and good food. Come and visit a really beautiful island. Well and other ones.

Best experience ever, OMG the monkeys in the morning, the scenery, the nice staff, the clean rooms, and the semi private beach in front of it (this beach is cleaner and less noisy than cenang beach). Take the rooms with air conditioners (cost $17/night) you need aricon to withstand the heat/humidity, besides the rooms without aircon are only $7 cheaper per night. Out of kuala lumpur, Penang and Langkawi, Lankawi offered the best experiences. Make sure to have a tasty English breakfast just next to Tstar. There is a great Thai/Malay restaurant ~100 meters away with a lovely Tai/Canadian owner. Moeny exchange is close, and tour (scuba diving, Island hoping and mangrove tours all worth your money) offices. If there is one complaint about Langkawi, is that it is on the family friendly side instead of the crazy youth environment in Thailand.

Value for money. Non air con room a bit warm without proper ventilation. Take some insect replent to deal with mosquitos. Otherwise everything is fine.

Very cozy and clean hotel for little money. Two-storey houses with a private balcony, surrounded by greenery and in the daytime monkeys, immersed in the idea that you're on holiday in Langkawi) ).

Very nice, apart from a lot of flies. Not all mosquitos tho. oh and mommies sitting on my porch.

I like this resort as my own home.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The place gave me a different feeling. The set up is more or like like a Malaysian village house.
