Very unworthy to stay in, the room is very dirty! Air-conditioning changed 2 rooms are not cold, but also asked the security guard to act as a maintenance worker! The hotel has no responsibility at all and very little business ethics.

Wow this is a very good and nice hotel, I love it.

Check in smooth and in order. We were given 2 rooms beside. Pillows a bit too soft. Breakfast variety good enough. Egg station staff very helpful. The counter staff check out very polite. We will stay again.

EXCELLENT HOTEL OVERALL! Great location; great staff and management; very clean and great food! Have been to a lot of hotels in Asia for the last few weeks and this is by far, the best one we have ever stayed. The room is spacious and very clean — with hardwood floor; washroom has no bad smell. A lot of variety for breakfast and very friendly service. The dinner and lunch are delicious and very reasonably priced ($10 for two people)! The location too is very central so using grab or taxi is very reasonable. The mall is just across the street. For anyone with a tight budget — we highly recommend this hotel! We got excellent value for our money! Thank you Hotel Granada for an unforgettable weekend in Johor!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Best service experience from any hotel in the recent years — Management and staff would consistently go out of their way to meet any and all needs that we had during our stay. Great location — across a mall; shops and services are also walking distance and very central. Food was great with a variety of selection for breakfast and very affordable and delicious lunch and dinner entree. The room is very clean (deluxe queen) with hard wood floors. And excellent Wi-Fi.

The hotel is quite nice, however it is showing its age. The lifts are slow, there is no adult sized pool, water pressure is acceptable but not strong… However they do provide a complimentary 'Handy' mobile phone that has free local calls and free Internet access that can be brought out of the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

The hotel looked nice and clean. It is conveniently located across from aeon. The rooms were spacious, but the walls were quite thin. There was some grit and dust on top of the bed spread, but otherwise alright. Breakfast was decent, but there's always a 24hr McDonald's next door.

Good: surround with a lot of shops and eateries, Aeon supermarket and massage. Convenient and peaceful. Bed is good. Had a good sleep. Bad: hotel a bit run down. Stay at 8th floor and water flow is weak. Overall, good experience.

Nice and clean. Food is good too. We came back for the Ramadan buka puasa buffet. It’s simply sumptuous, delicious and a great variety. Thumbs up to the Chef and team!

Very convenient location just opposite to Aeon mall. A lot of small eateries and restaurants along nearby shop houses too. Building looks aged on the outside but rooms are renovated. Value for money.

I like it bcoz of the location. Breakfast s nice with full of varieties, room s well kept.

Service very bad… check in already use me 30 minutes… n so many mosquitoes in the lobby… Very uncomfortable… When they bring me to the room… Even go a wrong room… After that I go down to car park take my thing… and then when I go down take my thing… I totally cannot scan the card n go back my room. The price with the service not worth.

For the price, the room is relatively cosy and comfortable. Got its own parking, restaurant and pub. Location also very good with shopping centre and food near by.

The room was clean and the breakfast was buffet. The only thing is the elevator is not to force, according to often do not respond to or immediately extinguished.

Encountered a cockroach at the rack above the fridge. Housekeeping didnt wipe off the dust from the rack. They did not fill up the tissue box too which was empty. Breakfast was nice but need to have more variety on it.

Probably for the location the level is good. It doesn't show up at all bad, not huge structure with a nice lobby and staff with a good level of English.
The rooms type "De luxe Queen" are quite small, even the bathroom, made in a bad copy on those of the Holiday Inn. The temperature of the shower is difficult to regulate, or read or refresh, as well as that of the room. Good and varied breakfast.

We arrived at the Hotel Granada late in the evening and the staff were immediately welcoming. We were checked in and in our room within 10 minutes noting that the lift requires a keycard for added security. Our room was an average size with the usual amenities, fridge, tea/coffee, safe etc but was lacking blackout curtains. At breakfast the next morning the staff were again friendly and we were able to choose from a small selection of foods. There were all of the expected options of local and western style foods but variety of cooked ingredients to go with the rice and noodles was limited to curry, chicken sausages and beans. The hotel has a small pool at the front of the property but given its location between the carpark and main road we decided to give it a miss. While there are a few negative points in my review they don't detract too much from the comfortable bed and overall experience.

The interior looks much better than the dated facade. However the club lounge is nothing but a room with tables and chairs. There's no food, drinks nor any service available. Those staying on the club floor have to call for service and it takes about 40 min to deliver a couple of pastry and fruits.

The room is clean and maintained. You can expect the standard features. The bed and pillows are really comfortable and if you'd like, there varied TV channels to watch from, documentary, movies, news etc. Breakfast buffet is standard fare, but the food was really good. You can explore the mall opposite, Aeon mall I think which has more fast food options as well as the surrounding shop houses where you can also sample other local food. If you drive or ride, there's a basement carpark as well.

The location of the hotel was very convenient as there was many shopping malls near the hotel. The facilities of the hotel was also amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was kind and friendly. I would recommend people to stay in this hotel because of the reasons stated above and also because of its cheap and affordable price.

Very courteous, helpful Front office & concierge staff. Rooms are clean. Quiet a/c. Good buffet breakfast spread. A perfect ten score can be awarded when F&B staff learns to be alert and attentive.

Attended a family event, the hotel is the best in class around the area. We booked a total of 10 rooms. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room isn't big. Parking is in the basement. The restaurant is also reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again if I am visiting the area.

Room is good clean, Wi-Fi signal strong, the only drawback is that the swimming pool is too small, no fun.

Very good hotel to stay at. Simple, comfortable, conducive, convenient. Have been staying at this hotel for business trips since 2014, and still our top choice. In fact they have improved over the years, now providing better toiletries. The breakfast buffet has a decent spread and all are quite delicious.

Management has to look at the hygiene of Olla Restaurant. I am actually having my breakfast in the restaurant now. 1. The vegetables may have not been washed. The vegetables are really bitter. The purple cabbage is seriously awful. 2. I have just spitted out a ROTTEN TOMATO which I took at the salas section. The sourish bitterness really turns me down. 3. The are 4 flies resting on the spoon which has been placed on the olive bottle. There are 4 flies on my table too!

Great place for relax… operate till late night… affordability for foreigners.

The location is excellent because it is within walking distance to AEON mall. We took the executive room and it was very spacious.

Clean functional rooms, bad incident where leftover food was left at the lift area on 5th floor for 12 hours and no hotel staff seemed to want to clean it up.

Very convenient. It is situated just opposite the Aeon Mall and next to the bus stop with bus service CW3 that takes you to the checkpoint at Tuas 2nd Link.

My most frequent hotel in jb becos it's very convenient and 2nd link is not as jam. Breakfast is simple but nice and room is well maintained.

If something comes up and you cant checkin on the day you booked, instead of simply letting you change your reservation, they will charge you the nightly rate even if u never set foot in their hotel. Even if you call and email them asking them to push your reservation back and not charge you for the days you did not check in. Money-hungry and missed out on a 7 day stay just so they could charge me a no-show fee for two nights. Thats backwards business. I will choose elsewhere when I do arrive. RipOff.

The Urban Spa is a fabulous relaxing place. The Spa session I had is something I will go for again. Thank you so much & highly recommendable! But this is not the same for the Bar Grill located at level 1. It was so dull and they mentioned abt a live band and good music as told by the staff. Major disappointment as nothing of that such, infact it was smoky and very boring. I walked out of Bar Grill promising myself I would never step in again.

The rooms are small and have cheap wood floors. The staff constantly knocked on my door to clean while I was sleeping even though the do not disturb sign was posted. After I hung a note in English and Bahasa Malay, they started calling my room instead.

Check in time was stated as3pm. I arrived at 3.55pm, was told I need to wait 15min. It's 5.05pm I'm still waiting. The booking is full so next batch have to wait? Isn't checkout time suppose to be a few hours earlier for the previous batch? What system is this?

Cheap and location is best. Near shopping mall.
With surround shop houses like restaurants, massage and so on.

Paid to 4.5 star rate but the facility, food, deco, room size etc all are like 3 star.

Centrally located to amenities and surprisingly private which is good. Room stayed was well presented/clean. Downside is the cracks/chip off floor structures.

Nice hotel for resting after shopping at jpo n also after a days fun at legoland.

We checked in on feb 2014: I hope they maintain the cleanliness of it since it was pretty new at that time. Big room space for the affordable price, I like the breakfast buffet. We went to the spa for sauna, stones aren't hot, the other room was so hot I can't stay in longer. Then massage lady's nice but cant speak n understand english, I got body pain after massage haha. Nice location, it's just across the mall :).

My family and I stayed at this hotel from 6 — 8 June, 2014. The rooms were well maintained. I am writing in appreciation of the service I received at this hotel. My child accidentally left 2 packs of LEGO in our room when we checked out on Sunday. We were only aware of this on Monday. I called up the hotel and spoke to Mr Adrian Ng (Front Office Manager). He was helpful — said he would check and get back to me. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email the very next day with pictures of the LEGO packs left behind. I transferred a token for postal service and I have received the items today. Thank you very much — you have made a child very happy!

Hotel was new December 2012. Rooms are small for the price. Don't call the front desk — they hardly ever answer. Restaurant service is slow, and guest attentiveness is low, even when the place is empty. Housekeeping is ok, but they ignore the Do Not Disturb light. This hotel has lights to indicate Do Not Disturb or Please Make Up Room. The housekeeping staff loves to ring the doorbell. If the company didn't already have several people staying here, I would move to the Thistle. UPDATE — 01 SEP 2013 I have been working closely with the Front Desk manager, both in person and via email. He is very intent on making this hotel the 5 Star hotel that it will be with hard work and attention to detail. Housekeeping has learned to pay attention to the Do Not Disturb light, and they are doing a much better job of consistency in making up the room. Available parking in the basement of the hotel is limited, but there is a spacious outdoor lot. The hotel has hired a new chef that has worldwide experience (latest job in Ireland) and he brings a new life to the Olla restaurant. I really like eating here now. The Quando Quando bar has an updated 'snack' menu and they have extended the Rythmix band to provide the entertainment Mon — Sat. It has almost been one year since the hotel opened, and it has had its share of growing pains, but I feel they will be a 5 star hotel. Please work with the management during your stay, and they will address your concerns if you give them the chance.

Booked hotel for a 3D2N stay. I booked 4 executive queen rooms under my name. When I did the booking directly with the hotel. My request was 1) at least 1 connecting rooms. 2) all on the same level. 3) a Baby cot in one of the room. As we have 2 infants, kids and also maids. They need to around nearby. But when I check in the hotel. None of the request has been taken in mind in allocating the rooms. I have 2 rooms in floor 3 with one on each end of the corridor. 2 rooms in floor 6 with the same allocation. After that one of the rooms got to change due to smelly room (bad smoking smells), faulty TV, dirty room, and was change to a different floor this time. Their bathing towels also has smoke smell. Keep reminding front desk that must at least prepare a bed or cot for my infant very early in the day. Went out for shopping and when back in hotel at 10.00pm (nothing is done). No duty manager is around. At first front desk say give me extra blanket and pillow (expect me or my baby to sleep on the floor? ) finally they send in a queen size mattress with no bedsheet/pillow and blanket. Me loss for words. 2nd day, went out early to legoland. Instructed Housekeeping. Returned at 5pm. Room not cleaned. Out of 4 rooms, 3 are not cleaned. Saw a useless baby cot in the room (the baby cot mattress with a big hollow in the center (how to put baby in). Send back baby cot. 3rd morning, Went down to have breakfast at 8.30am. No seats and best of all, no food. Empty trays all over.

Nice, new hotel but that is where the positives end. The rooms are small and have cheap wood floors.
