Went for Ramadan buffet… Menu has little choice. The could have done better in their menu by adding different types of foods.

Although this is the older hotel. It's really good due to the location that it's placed between 2 malls that are really wonderful and a minute walk to the next. It's also close by to One Utama which is a really big shopping mall. 3 starts because the hotel is really starting to look dull and some of the staff are really lazy or look like they just hate their jobs. No one was at the front desk as they were always hanging around the back talking. And the breakfast isn't so good. The only people I see that deserve to stay are the door men and the people who bring your bags from the reception to your room and back down.

The room was clean and well maintained. The water pressure was good and there was lots of hot water. The air conditioning was powerful. We had a family room with a king size bed and two twin beds. The carpeting was soft. There was a bathtub and a shower room. The bedrooms were huge. However the bathrooms were not very suitable for young children because the sink was too high and deep. The sound proofing could be better, at 11pm we could clearly hear the television blasting from our neighboring room. On our first morning there, I thought the breakfast needs more work. There wasn't much variety and the rice porridge was cold. The butter was not well stored as the fat had clearly separated from the milk solids. But perhaps this was just a temporary lapse, because the next morning, the rice porridge was served hot and the butter was cold amd creamy. The variety was still limited, but at least I could eat my fill of what was available.

Love the hotel integration with the malls. Also IPC and IKEA is literally across the road. Great accessibility.

Quite different from the website. It's quite run down and a but grungy. Food was below average. Friendly staff though.

My fave hotel when im at kl. Its near to harvey normal flagship store at IPC and Ikea Damansara.

Bad directions outside, people get confuse over royale chulan and royale chulan the curve. Its 2 different places there.

Good location among shopping complex. Room is small and dated… singing don't stop till 11pm, no peace.

The hotel is nice, asked for soft copy invoice through phone call. Still have not got it. I think it is somewhere across the universe.

Spacious room though slightly run down and could use some maintenance ie water damaged ceiling and dusty air vents. Door staff and restaurant friendly but receptionists were not. Don’t bother with breakfast, plenty of cheaper and tastier options nearby.

Very nice old style hotel for everything. Be it the decoration of the rooms and the common parts. The very stylish staff dressed so rigorously that it goes almost unnoticed but with a very colonial kindness.
The very large rooms are also old and there are things to review as the Wifi not powerful, bedding too hard with cushions too thick and in the bathroom there is nothing to hang his clothes, to believe that do you have a time when we brought a new one between the evening show er and the morning shower?
The restaurant offers a breakfast with a huge choice for all English speakers but for the others the minimum of a 4 star and we gave up dinner in the evening on the terrace because after 10 minutes of personal waiting has come to propose us even though apart from the commerc ial greetings from a senior official who has not been concerned.

The hotel has been renovated, the rooms are spacious and quite decent, but the toilet does not seem to be renovated which is slightly dirty and some wood mould. Other than that the hotel is fine to stay.

Good location with lots of shopping near by. Room is clean and nice. Except no complimentary for hotel guest.

Very good location and decent rooms but many of the in-room facilities are run down and need replacing. The pool looks like it hasnt been cleaned fod a while, in keeping with the general situation. It's cheap though and with its central shopping and lifestyle location makes you return and tolerate the deficiencies.

The room is slight under-maintained: I can hear creaking sound of toilet bowl when I sit on it. Every about 30 seconds, the show water pressure become low and extremely hot and then resume back to normal. No light at mini bar so it's not bright enough in that area. I get 2 access cards and none can open the room door, headed down from 11th floor to replace 2. At the end, only 1 card can be used. For a price of RM290 & comparing to Palm Garden Putrajaya, this room is smaller, without bathtub, without extra pillow/blanket provided kept in the closet, without breakfast, no rain shower, no cleaning water beside toilet bowl, small washroom. The room is practically of old design. Room service staff is friendly.

My 2 cents worth on Royale Chulan Pros: 1. Spacious and clean room 2. My kids love the bath tub 3. Friendly staffs More Cons: 1. Furniture a bit. I stress a bit worn off. 2. Parking is not free. 3. Location is for Kidzania and Ikeas. Not much other attraction nearby Yes I will be coming back though because I prefer here than city area. Secondly my young kids love it. But frankly just short stay.

Everything is nice, including the hotel staffs This is my second visits. The rating can be 5 stars but was pull down by: 1. The Aircon vent and toilet is dirty (stained on toilet bowl) 2. Water heater temperature can go up while you showering by 5 degrees, it will burn you! 3. The lift at G level refuse to go Basement when someone wants to go up. 4. The morning breakfast guy with glasse who cook the eggs has very bad attitude!

The local dishes like the nasi lemak, mee goreng, roti canai and porridge were very nice. The pastry was fresh and nice too. Outside there is a live band playing.

5 star price but amenities only 2 to 3 star. Run down rooms.

Room is spacious, clean, hotel staff are helpful. Amenities within the hotel are good. Location are very safe.

Royale chulan the curve. nice hotel but one staff name amin bangladesh guy very rude. Not respect our as guest. Please hiring staf like 4star as well. Not like 1star staff. Tq.

Good place to stay. Easy to access the shoping and food outlets. The lobby is connected to the curve. Live music entertainment was beside the hotel.

Rooms are neat and tidy plus love the manggo fragrance. No DVD player unlike Concorde Hotel. Besides the hotel food which is average for us Malaysian, you can also get outside food which is much better.

Despite it's high traffic area and how long they've been in operation, they've done a good job in ensuring proper maintenance and service levels. I've stayed here on several occasions and enjoyed it every time. That fact that the lobby is connected to the Curve is ridiculously convenient.

What you pay for when you stay here is the location and unfortunately it seems the hotel knows this. As it has great facilities but they seem to have been poorly maintained. For instance in our room the wallpaper was starting to lift, the plugs didn't have covers, the bathroom door lock was not attached and the light switch was broken. All of which I would accept if this was closer to the RM200 an night room but unfortunately it is far from it, ontop of that we were upgraded. The breakfast was so so and the gent serving the cooked items was close to rude. Also they have very limited indoor seating so you can either wait or sit outside with the smokers. If you want easy access to shops and convenience it's a great location, most staff are helpful. Top of which were the reception staff who were excellent. It would be well worth the money if they sort these issues out but until then I can only give a low 3.

The best buffet and good customer service.

Great place to stay with easy access to a few large malls, many restaurants and hangout place, and a cinema. Rooms are clean and beautiful, staff are exceptionally helpful. Only that transportation in and out of the area is only via taxi.

Came here for mother's day buffet lunch. The food was so so. But the price is 50+ per person.

I found remote control malfunction. Water not warm enough. But Cleanliness and breakfast is ok.

Rooms are run down, cracked tiles, dusty room, staff not friendly. Not a place to stay or worth the money.

Since the moment you make reservation online till the warm welcome from the professional nice welcome from beautiful staff to the amazing clean suite with good quality of amenities to the free wi fi to the good quality of food till you check out. It is one of the best hotels I ever visited located in the center of all attractions. Whenever I think to come again I am sure I will stay in this amazing hotel.

Good hotel in a great location. A bit out of the city centre but in a convenient area.

Great four/five star hotel, located in the Mutiara Damansara "The Curve" mall and within the walking distance of the Curve night market and. The Royale Bintang is also strategically located infront of the IKEA center and also a short distance away from the Malaysian largest shopping complex 1Utama.

My wife and I are annual visitors to The Royale Bintang The Curve having stayed there 9 successive years for a minimum stay of 2 weeks on each occasion. The fact that we return each year is testimony to the excellent service and attention we find there. If its location you want, then The Royale Bintang The Curve has it in abundance. You will be shopped out, and socialised out from all the opportunities at your doorstep (literally! ) If its personalised attention you want, from the moment you arrive at the entrance to the hotel you are made welcomed and cared for. We regard the Royale Bintang as a "home from home" and highly recommend it.

Located at Mutiara Damansara, in the middle of Curve, right opposite Ikea. Good place to stay if you're from other states and you're looking to shop at Ikea. Not to be confused with "The Royale Bintang Mutiara Damansara", which is at the western end of the Curve (just beside e-Curve mall) Plenty of restaurants, places to drink, and entertainment options all within walking distance. Ingress players will be glad to know that there are at least 20 portals all within walking distance of this hotel :D.
