Review of One World Hotel 5*

The first time we tried One World Hotel was last Monday when we stopped over from Genting to Singapore… At first we just felt it's one of those 5-star hotels but a few things was extraordinary during our short one-night stopover: 1) During check in, we were surprised that they voluntarily upgraded us to a Junior Suite which was tastefully and elegantly designed. It was so comfy that we immediately changed plans — instead of going out for coffee we called our friend in KL to visit us and we spent a cozy afternoon coffee together as we ordered room service. 2) A staff even accompanied my Wife Jane Kang in our car to the car park while I check in! That's impeccable service! 3) My wife Jane Kang enjoyed the bath facilities as well as shopping at the inter-connected One Utama Mall 4) The lobby lounge was also very cozy and had a music trio (singer, piano & bass guitar) providing soothing oldie music while we had drinks and supper. And to our surprise, the band sessions end at 12.45am unlike some band hotel lounges that end at 11+ when things just get hot while we chilled 5) The F&B looks tantalising with the high tea set and yummy abalone dinner sets — what a pity we could not enjoy those this trip and will surely come back soon! 6) Last but not least their morning buffet breakfast spread is truly one of the best we've seen — really tasteful (can't resist the pun) in both layout as well as the range and delicately-prepared food. Elegance is the word I can think of 7) Oops… I forgot to mention that the room rate for such a hotel is considered very reasonable and value for money too Overall it was a very pleasant and memorable experience and we will surely come back again and highly recommend that you experience it yourself too!
