Very friendly hotel. We spent about two weeks there. The staff was very attentive and friendly, after a short time we were for example Even in the morning by a service — employee in German accent-free welcomed. There was also a birthday greeting in the form of a large fruit platter in the room!
The breakfast buffet was very rich, so that it was not boring even during a longer stay: tea, coffee, toast, bread, pastries, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, small sausages, fried ham, small meatballs, also rather Traditional Lettsche offers such as salad, fish rolls, beetroot and so on! Everything was very varied and plentiful.
For further meals there is a hotel — restaurant or bar for dinner.
Our room was good. We had an extra bed in the room for children over 6 years old, children under 6 years of age were free if they slept in their parents ' bed. Our bathroom was a shower room, very spacious, equipped with everything you needed. The shower was ground level and also very spacious!
The box-spring bed was very comfortable for sleeping. The room had a small safe, a kettle, a desk and a wardrobe. We just missed a closet. Obviously, the hotel is booked by city travellers from various countries who stay only a few nights. The hotel is located on a large street but the windows were soundproof.
Wi-Fi was of course available, free of charge.
The parking lot in the basement is somewhat limited — and costs €10 per day —, about 15 parking spaces. With normal cars, parking on the street is possible without any problems, if necessary. A steering wheel claw makes sense.
The location of the hotel is not central, but you can drive to the centre by bus or car. Also the airport is not far. Within walking distance are two grocery stores and a pharmacy in the street.
Conclusion: Good value for money, good beds, great breakfast, competent staff at reception and breakfast service. We want to come back!
