Good Hotel, a comfortable price. Delicious, always good breakfast with champagne. Conveniently located, on the way to the airport.

It's a beautiful hotel! Recommend. Stayed 2 times in it. Breakfast is lovely plus a glass of champagne. The hotel is clean and well-groomed. So are the numbers. There is a parking lot. Toll 200-250 meters away. And free in front of the hotel. The first year on the toll put. There's very little space. The next year was put in front of the hotel. All without problems despite the horror stories on the Internet. The hotel deserves its star and reputation.

It's a nice number. It's clean, it's convenient. Good breakfasts. Of the disadvantages — parking belonging to the hotel, paid, and near the hotel free parking space is difficult to find.

A fairly standard international hotel. The rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet (those facing the busy street presumably aren't). The reception is absurdly bureaucratic. Not only was this the only hotel in the whole Baltic region which wanted to see our passports, they also entered the details on a computer. The reception staff clearly didn't really know how to do this, and checking in took ages — — quite different from everywhere else we stayed. The washbasin had no stopper, which is not much good for a hotel of this standard. Breakfast excellent.

Solid 4! There is everything you need, clean, comfortable bed; The room was very quiet.

Great furnished Rooms and, despite road-side windows, hardly any Vehicle Noise.
The Sparkling Wine for Breakfast is included, after which it is funny to the City on Foot. You don't need a Taxi.
An Extension of the Stay was also possible without further ado.

Affordable. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was OK, but the bread was a bit boring. The service was good.

Well. Clean, comfortable. Regular breakfast, there was no olive oil or sweet (only a few mini muffins a bit tough)
You can park on the street. To the center it takes 10min by car. You can park just past the bridge. Very comfortable to visit the city.

The 4-Star Superior Hotel Rixwell Elefant is conveniently located between Riga International Airport, which is a 5-minute drive away, and the city centre. It is within walking distance of the Livu shopping centre and 10 km from the famous Aqua Park.
The bright, modern rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a minibar, a safe and a direct-dial telephone. Tea and coffee-making facilities and ironing facilities are available. The private bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and free toiletries.

(in Russian at the end) Staff on hotel reception is very horrible. When I arrived in the hotel? A woman on reception talked with me like I’m a homeless person. Only when I agreed to buy a parking place, which costs 10 EUR per day, the woman begun to smile. About 1 a. M. In my room was a sound like a working chain saw in the distance. When I could not stand it anymore at 2 a. M. I called by phone the reception and told about a problem. Then the security come in my room before 10 min. And said that he can’t help me. I called in reception one more time. The woman told, that can change my room tomorrow, because they should have a additional expenses. I said that is not my problem this is a hotel problem, which don’t to give a normal room for comfortable rest… Woman called me back in 5 min. And in a very horrible tone said, then give for me another room at 1-st floor and said that people, who are smoking on the street will prevent me. Finally at 3 a. M. I went to sleep in a normal room. Hotel Staff didn’t apologized me. I travel for holyday and for business very often, but such an attitude was encountering the first time! I don’t recommend this Hotel to nobody! Great hotel with very helpful staff and superb restaurant. In house laundry was very pricey, as was the food, but still an excellent experience.

I have to say it, I will not give this hotel 4 stars. But the restaurant was really great in October. Tried again in January and was not the same anymore. Was nice but not the same. Portions were smaller and taste was less. Hotel rooms are nothing more than a 2/3 stars hotel. And happened they didn't even tidy the room.

Great Hotel a little bit away from the center but with bus añ other side of the street and taxi relatively cheap to downtown.

It's a beautiful hotel! Clean, beautiful, modern. The service is wonderful! A hearty full breakfast with a glass of champagne helps to feel the hospitality and Christmas holidays in all its charm!
I miss the slippers and the robe at the hotel. Everything else is excellent.

Very friendly hotel. We spent about two weeks there. The staff was very attentive and friendly, after a short time we were for example Even in the morning by a service — employee in German accent-free welcomed. There was also a birthday greeting in the form of a large fruit platter in the room!
The breakfast buffet was very rich, so that it was not boring even during a longer stay: tea, coffee, toast, bread, pastries, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, small sausages, fried ham, small meatballs, also rather Traditional Lettsche offers such as salad, fish rolls, beetroot and so on! Everything was very varied and plentiful.
For further meals there is a hotel — restaurant or bar for dinner.
Our room was good. We had an extra bed in the room for children over 6 years old, children under 6 years of age were free if they slept in their parents ' bed. Our bathroom was a shower room, very spacious, equipped with everything you needed. The shower was ground level and also very spacious!
The box-spring bed was very comfortable for sleeping. The room had a small safe, a kettle, a desk and a wardrobe. We just missed a closet. Obviously, the hotel is booked by city travellers from various countries who stay only a few nights. The hotel is located on a large street but the windows were soundproof.
Wi-Fi was of course available, free of charge.

Lovely hotel. A little out of the way but quite convenient for the airport. The number 22 bus drops you off from the airport and it's just a short walk to the hotel. Beware that on the way back though you will need to walk to the stop before the hotel as it diverts just before the hotel junction. Only 2 Euro each way.

Rooms were really clean, staff also was nice all the stay. Really happy with the stay, breakfast was sooo tasty. Definitely would come back.

It is advisable to make a sign with the name of the hotel at the entrance, not only on the roof. Yes, and the lighting will not interfere. In the evening, in the dark, passed by and did not even notice.

For: Clean, well presented and large rooms and reasonably priced. Only 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport (or take the bus from the airport). Good breakfast. Against: Only one person in check in last night and one other person in front but it took 20 minutes, which is not what you want at 10pm. Staff need to cheer up. Everyone looked sad, with no smiles.

Good Hotel, great price, not right away from the centre about 3 km, paid parking or it is quietly on the side to the street without taking fines, clean rooms, minibar and a nice big bed. The kitchen would also be good, but you have to be careful of the groups, the flaw is, that you close the kitchen and do not give you food and the absurd thing is that the groups stay on the hotel… maybe it was my bad luck, however, in that case a crap! I did two weeks to pray that they give me a table… In the end I limited myself to book it but with fatigue… The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Facilities are as expected. The building is well kept and the rooms are clean and decently sized. The location is somehow average, a bit far away from everything, but kind of close to the airport. Some services, like the taxi service, are well arranged, however the whole experience lacks personality and the service is average at best. Long check in procedure, unhelpful staff, and poor quality breakfast with no service whatsoever. I stood at the front desk for 8 minutes waiting for service and I didn't even get aknowledged, despite having staff floating around. We arrived for breakfast and no one checked us in or explained us anything (we could have rocked up from the street and have breakfast without anyone noticing). Overall decent if you look for the bare minimum after a late flight, but not suitable for long stays or for something more personable.

The lobby and dining area are fabulous. The rooms are modern and clean. The bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. The location is not convenient to the old city. Few restaurants in the area.

When you are in a room that adjoins the engine room and it is impossible to sleep properly, we do not appreciate at all.

The good: Very clean with very friendly staff. I would stay there again if I am back in Riga. The bad: The booking page on priceline said there's a hotel shuttle but there wasn't. That being said, there is a public bus that goes from the airport to the hotel, so it was not a problem. Since I was leaving earlier than breakfast, they offered me a bagged breakfast. However, they didn't ask if I had any restrictions of any kind. When I got the bag, it had some kind of cold cuts that I was not going to eat. This may be a cultural thing and me not wanting meat may be sounded weird to them. That being said, if you have any dietary restrictions, you should ask, don't assume they will ask you.

Too far from the historical center of the city.

A beautiful establishment very clean a façade not top but to know that it is eccentric it takes €5 to go into town. The breakfast is great and the restaurant very good. We should change the garbage in the rooms! It is a very nice hotel… Attention the weekend C is more expensive if you have not book before…

Room was big; position is about 10 mins from the city center (considering the traffic) ; breakfast is not abundant.

Wonderful hotel. Everything was great. The location is not in the center but it is easy to get there (in 15-20 min) using buses that stop near the hotel.

Great place to stay, breakfast is plentiful, sadly no English style selection and cold eggs.

No special experiences but actually the place was very nice. The elephant is impressive. Might be tricky for foreigners to access by car, check out driving suggestions before the journey.

It is greatplace to sleepower night or relax at weekend, rooms are versatile and service is on top. Nice kind and hearthfully crew, so every question will be answered or offered an other suitable option. Reccomend it!

We went with the child to the treatment, stayed at the elephant for 4 nights. Turned out not very expensive discounted. Breakfast is quite varied and tasty, but always want something new. Had dinner, ordered a portion each, ate all the portions are enormous. Looked about the hotel nice and modern, of all in Riga-in appointment only liked this one. Everything is great, its 4 stars fulfills so not a lot of money.

Great hotel, but very low underground car parking just 1.8 m, easy access to the airport.

Unfortunately this beautiful hotel has been temporarily shut down.
