Good access, great prices, ticks all the boxes: supper staff, professional and friendly.

Worth the money, clean, nice, maybe missing a closet in the room, near the tram, trolley and bus station, great food choices. Good place for unpretentious guests.

Where do I start, Dirty, curtains didn't fit the windows and were bright GREEN and very hard to pull, dirty, TV reception was bad and every channel had a snowy screen, stains on the sheets, holes in the quilt covers, dirty, breakfast was stone cold with powdered scrambled eggs, plastic flowers in the room, dirty, walls everywhere dirty, in the room and in corridors. I moved rooms the next day instead of leaving, much better room but still dirty, no Wi-Fi signal, did I mention it was dirty? First night I had something to eat in the restaurant, that was okay. The next night I walked to a restaurant about 15 minutes away, that was closed down so I walked back and went into the hotel restaurant to be told its closed tonight. I was told they had a big banquet in the afternoon so the chef went home. I asked was it the table of 8 women I saw having lunch to which she replied with a yes. 8 people! big banquet! I was confused. The only thing to do was have a drink at the bar. NOW, that bit was good.

Prices and rooms are ok but the food is really terible. One of the worst I ever ate in a hotel. However, if you are a billard player, that ones your place. With severall diferent tabels you can play here at the ground floor.

A great place to stay for one, two nights. It's a comfortable number. Big parking. Great breakfast.

Cheap, budget hotel, from the center is a bit far, you need to get by transport, we went by taxi, called through the app, one way 3-4 euros. Furniture in the hotel tired as they say, the room had air conditioning, the sink was bad water. There wasn't enough closet for things, we didn't stay for one day. Cleaned in the room every day, left cards with the name of who cleaned, you could write something, funny). Breakfasts in general are good, but to be honest the same and also almost every morning, bored, but you can fully eat and not go hungry. Overall the hotel experience is positive, suitable for those looking for a budget hotel which for their money is very much nothing!

No elevator, mediocre food and accommodation. Refrigerator was dirty inside. Wifi was ok. The hotel was likely adapted from an old factory building, and the quality of experience is comparably rough.

It's 00 now. 33. Outside the window drunken Lithuanians gold as in the woods. The room is stuffy. From the comforts of a shower and a san node. The beds are just terrifying. People are divorced to the fullest. Paid 100% prepayment. At check-in forced to pay in cash again. You can't move in with the kids. Around the same drunks.

Enjoyed staying, friendly helpful staff. Good hotel restaurants. Free parking onsite. Good free breakfast. Easy walk yo two supermarket, post office and quaint soviet era cornor shop. Botanical garden almost opposite. Tram No 5 at front door to downtown.

Staff is at pains, Room resembles an outdated broom chamber. No Storage Options, not even a Stool to sit down.
Breakfast, one got fed up, but if it was empty (8:15) nothing would be replenished.

The three stars clearly do not pull. The breakfast was very good. The room was very clean. Overall, normal.

Staff was quite nice, but the hotel needs some renovation. The single rooms are far too small, the valves in the bathrooms are rusty and the flow is partly broken. The breakfast depends on the neck after a few days, because there is hardly any choice and there is the same thing every day. Omelette will be eg. Prepared with eggs.

Not a bad hotel, lots of pool tables, there's breakfast, the bed is comfortable. The furniture and renovations are a bit tired and the area is not posh, but the hotel tries to keep the brand.

… interesting after reading all the mixed reviews… personally I went with low expectations … and was pleasantly surprised, I would describe NB Hotel has budget friendly, clean, cheerful accommodation as far as how it looks, good for short stays, the beds were comfortable, with clean fresh linen (but I'm quite small compared to most people in this region who are 6feet tall, perhaps the beds are not so accommodating for them? ) with generous buffet breakfast, excellent parking space and easy access to Riga CBD and the LU Botanical gardens… a few things to mention, of course as others have said it requires a good reno, we had to pay upfront rather than @ then end of our stay, which was unusual but i'm an Aussie traveller who is now accustomed to expect the unexpected, for the price in the Baltic region, I think the accommodation level it's what you would expect ~ :) … and Latvia's excellent summer weather made everything seem wunderbar anyways…

Good fenced car park, tram stop just in front of the hotel, big breakfast included for all guests, lots of professional billiards for rent, space for kids, no lift for the two upper floors.

— Rooms needs a makeover and more attention to cleanliness. Bed is uncomfortable. Do not recommend to stay here if you looking for nice and cozy place. + Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful.
