Pure love! Nothing to complain about. It's one of the most cozy hostels I've ever been at. Super comfortable and big rooms. A bunch of activities and lovely staff. Special thanks to Katrina. Keep on beeing that motivated… and naughty of course.

Fantastic. Clean, nice beds — a party hostel which limits its partying to the common areas allowing you to sleep in if you wish. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the daily events they host are perfect for those who just want a night out.

Good hostel located in the middle of the Old Town of Riga. Everything you want to see is basically walking distance. The rooms are relatively big, and there are lockers for your belongings. The best part of the hostel are the common areas, three in total. They facilitate meeting other travellers and encourage starting conversation. There are plenty of toilets and showers, never had to wait a second to use them.

Great hostel! I had a very nice stay there! The staff is awesome, very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are comfy and very clean! It's also very well located in the city center And you will meet a lot of fun people at the bar/reception/living room during the happy hour and further proposed activities! Highly recommended!

Nice party hostel. Good atmosphere and friendly personnel. The pub crawl here is legend. We were in a room with 4 other people. Two of them were a couple. Please to all couples out there. Don't sleep in a dorm it's pathetic.

The best hostel I've made! bar inside the hostel, with two great beers in particular.
The staff greets us in a mess, and it's super nice. The showers and rooms are clean and super convenient! The locker is provided and it easily holds a 70L bag (unlike other hostels. You just need to provide a padlock (normal what).
Outings are organized every night, really a great experience.

The reception and bar is open 24 hours and is far enough away from the rooms so when you want to sleep you can. There's free tea and coffee and the staff are super helpful and welcoming. There's a supermarket in the shopping centre nearby (less than 5mins walk) where you can buy breakfast items to cook or prepare in the squirrel kitchen area.

The staffs are super sweet and explain well about the city. They have happy hours in the evening and interesting events everyday. There is a huge TV with Netflix which you can watch and chill with others. The room is quite spacious with enough charge points in the bed. The bathrooms are a bit small but very clean.

The location is super, the center, the price is acceptable, staff — separate respect) ) greeting — shot of Riga black balsam on brudershaft, all prompt, help, chat, play with guests in the Board game in the common room. The beds are large, with dark curtains, you can sleep and retire. A lot of places, showers and toilets enough. I’ve made my way around Eastern and Western Europe. Stayed in my fair share of great hostels. Squirrel House is legitimately one of, if not the, best hostels I’ve stayed in. The location is great, beer is cheap, beds are clean, common room is spacious, the showers are clean, numerous, and big enough for two. Above everything through the staff are astounding. Extremely kind, thoughtful, and professional about their work — they are by far — the most patient and helpful group of people operating a hostel of this size. They won their “Top 5 mid-sized hostels in the world” award for a reason. If you are traveling across Northern or Eastern Europe, this place is a must.

Great Party Hostel. Pub crawl was fun, they take you to a few good bars. Good central location and rooms/facilities were decent.

Really good hostel — good facilities, really helpful staff, and a really social atmosphere. They also helped us out with organising activities and making sure we saw the best of Riga. It was one of our group's birthday, and they were amazing with making it a special night for her. Would definitely stay here again if back in town.

I can't fault this hostel at all! Great city centre location, most of the sights all within walking distance. Entry to reception and dorms is by keycard, great idea. This was my first time sharing a dorm, as I've always booked private rooms in the past. I was in a 4-bed female dorm, and the room was big and spacious. The bunks were sturdy and comfortable, and I liked the fact they had curtains and individual reading lights with plug sockets. Although I didn't use the bar much, it was great that both that and reception were open 24/7. Happy hour with local beer for €1.50 was good too! Two separate common rooms, one with computers, the other with foosball table. Plenty of trips and events organised by the friendly staff, who were always happy to chat and help with any questions. I went to the shooting range, which was something I wouldn't have done or known about otherwise. All in all, Naughty Squirrel has to be the place to stay if you go to Riga!

Great Hostel for backpackers and party people. First of all, you'll be greatet with a shot: 2 Points for hospitality. The rooms are nice and mostly clean: 1 Point for rooms. There's a kitchen and lots of room for other activites, like tiny table tennis and a foosball table: 3 Points for stuff to do. The best part though, is the team. They treat you so welcoming and nice, you feel right at home. Also they do a lot of activities with the guest, like pub crawl, shooting range etc. : 8 Points for the team. 14 Points = On fleek.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Just a great place for extroverts. Party never stops there, everyone is so friendly and open. And the good thing is that common room with a bar — and dorms are on different floors. Special thanks to Dana, admin, you are such a wonderful person. I wish I could sing Brainstorm with u again =)

I was staying here as part of group for the Riga Marathon so was in a shared room (8 people) with friends. This was a great location for a hostel as it was close to the start of the race and also enabled you to explore the old town. On arrival we were offered a shot of Black Balsam, which was great as it was one of the things I wanted to try while in Riga. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, even arranging a taxi for us when we got stuck outside Riga. We were there on the weekend and there was karaoke in the bar below. This made sleeping a bit more difficult if you wanted an early night (pre race) but it was good karaoke (you could get ear plugs if you wanted them though). This was my first time in a hostel and I feel like it will be difficult to top this experience.

I immediately felt at home once checkin into this hostel. They were friendly, gave some valuable advice about the city and hostel and as a welcome I had a shot from a well known Riga liquor producer! That's what I call homely! The showers have good water pressure and dorm rooms clean and spacious. There is really great security measures so you feel very safe in the hostel. I am really am unable to fault the hostel. Great job guys :)

Great hostel in a top notch location. Rooms are clean and secure and there's decent communal areas and an excellent bar. Everyone staying there (Feb 18-21) were super friendly and made for a really great crowd. Hands down the best aspect are the staff though. We were welcomed with shots and given advice on the best things to see and do and where to eat. Bar crawls, beer pong and movie nights were organised and they were always on hand for anything and really made the stay a great one. Was a brilliant way to celebrate my birthday! Would recommended without thinking about it and would come back to Riga just for this hostel!
