Elizabete Hotel tried to scam our money after not having the room that we had reserved. Here is what happened:
1. We booked an air-conditioned room
2. Arriving to the hotel, we paid for the room
3. Entering the room, we realized it was not air-conditioned
4. We immediately returned to the reception and asked for another room or a refund
5. The receptionist told us there were no air-conditioned rooms and *promised* to refund us for the room fully
6. After leaving the hotel, we followed up with multiple e-mails but never heard back. I. E. The hotel *knowingly lied* to us about the refund.
7. Finally, after using an intermediary we managed to get the hotel to repay us.

The Elizabete hotel is not a hotel, but its pathetic likeness. Refused to settle after what he saw. Never book!

Very bad and unproffessional staff. The bathrooms are barely clean with mold growing in the showers. When I complained to the staff they were very rude and told me to 'move to another hotel' if I wassent happy. Lost a pair of shirts, but found them later 'hidden' under the bed with a bunch of dust on them. Wont come back to this appaling and shameful place again.

Elizabete Hotel might not be considered a 4 or 5 star establishment, however the excellent experience and service give this hotel a 5 star review. The rooms are quaint, neat and clean. The location is great, walking distance to the Old Town, with shops nearby if you need to pick up a missing toothbrush or want some snacks. What sets this hotel apart from the others, is the outstanding service. Staff is attentive and caring. They went out of their way to assist my aging mothe…r. She was treated as family by staff as they helped her with every aspect of her stay. Safe and secure, I would definitely recommend this hotel not only for its very reasonable prices, but for the human touch added to our traveling experience. If you want a fancy place, look elsewhere. But Eleizabete Hotel, goes above and beyond the service you can expect at a larger or more posh location.

Decent hotel in a very quiet, but beautiful neighborhood. The room and breakfast were good value for money, but not great. One of the shower stall doors was broken and the AC unit stunk when turned on (dirty filter? ). The low score is not just that, but also because they have organizational issues to solve, though your experience with turn out better. Our reservation was moved last minute here from a centric hotel of the same chain, because some unspecified problem on their side. They offered transportation from and to the train station, but they messed up the service in both directions, so I had to solve it myself. Eventually they refunded the expense, but given that they created the problem to begin with, I can only be mildly thankful.
