The location of this hotel is excellent as you can access many restaurants, shopping malls, etc within 10 minutes or so. Village market is less than15 minutes away. Staff were polite, professional and very helpful. Food is good but please do not order the Peking Duck as it is not a real Peking Duck rather than fired dry duck with no taste. Note to restaurant manager, if you are not preparing peking duck, then take it off the menu or name it something else. Rooms were clean and hot water was great.

Loveddddd every minute of my stay at Lotos inn… Effortlessly chic and very clean aesthetic. Beautiful quiet neighborhood and views from the balcony. I also enjoyed the ease to access other parts of the City. I would highly recommend the residence to anyone traveling to Nairobi :)

The good — Very cozy rooms, nice ambience! Staff are helpful and friendly. Hot water availability in the shower was instant — we've literally never seen any hotel where hot water is available so quick!
What we didn't like — There was some convention center / hall adjacent to our room so it was a bit noisy but not extremely disturbing.

We stayed at Lotos for one night before our Masai Mara safari. On arrival check in was quick and effective. The room was large with a kitchen area (didn't use), large bedroom area and bathroom. The shower tub did overflow rather easily but the area was clean.
The hotel is located in the Westlands area, I was told prior to coming you could walk around the area outside the hotel however we didn't feel comfortable. We took taxis to dinner and back.
It was good for a one night stay.

The restaurant The Garden has the worst service.
Food comes after ages of following the waitress.
Drinks come after reminding the waitress.

Bad service. When u ask for drinking water at night thy not provide refuse u have to wait till morning. U call house keeper reception thy not respond good. Guest not happy there service.

The hotel is in great location, about 10 minutes walk to Westgate Shopping mall. Rooms are large with balcony and kitchen. Recommend to book a room with park view. You will see football matches every night. No AC in the room. Bed is not so good. Rooftop restaurant and bar is great. The staff at the restaurant is always eager to help.

Very nice hotel with all the amenties you would expect. A nice gym, 24 hours restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Very clean and well managed hotel with very good meals. The roof top is awesome for relaxing and there are lots of flowers that give the hotel a very cool feel.

The restaurant at the top is beautiful. Flowering plants all over. Plenty of sunlight. Great view of the skyline. Food is reasonably priced with good sized portions. Definitely going back.

Very clean rooms, really warm, friendly & helpful staff! The breakfast is nice fresh food on a beautiful well aired deck! Made my 2018 Easter holiday! Would definitely want to go back!

Really pathetic experience here. Took ages to get service and the food came out 1 by 1 in 20min intervals. Some of the starters even came out cold. Complained to management and they simply did not seem to care. If you’re looking for Chinese food then I would suggest going to @PanAsianYao or @254misterwok. Stay away from here!

I will never stay here again. No lights the first 20 minutes after check in. No one apologized or informed us of this. Then was asked to pay for a towel at check out. The manager — a woman who spoke in a condescending tone and was holding the towel with her index and thumb — told me I would have to pay for the towel to be replaced. The towel had apple juice people. I asked them to bleach it and she said they never bleach their towels. So for anyone brave enough to stay there, dont use those towels. Someone might have used it to wipe their unmentionables and it was just washed easily by soap and then you get the same towel as a face towel. Run. Look for options that are more sanitary and wont try to hustle you on a cheapo towel.

The chinese restaurant on the 6th floor has amazing tasty dishes.

Nice place to stay in Nairobi. Secure, clean, quiet, decent food, friendly staff. I would stay here again.

Initially they started off well but now they are onto cheating customers on home deliveries… Very disappointing… they charge a bomb… wrong orders delivered and small portions…

Food takes ages to be made. Also, what is on the menu for some of the dishes is not what you'll get on your plate. The pork cubes in sauce is a HOAX!

Nice Hotel feeling as if you are @home but they need to be flexible about late check out especially when the hotel is not fully booked and they need to enhance the breakfast food alternatives as current is somehow poor.

So we turned up late and asked if they were open. They said they were. Then half way through our meal they asked us to pay the bill as the cashier wanted to go home! That's just lousy service. I would rather be told that the last orders closed when we walked in.

Truly value for money. Room is very spacious, and the bathroom too. Clean and tidy place. Facilities includes bar, restaurant and parking. Staffs are very supportive. This was my second stay and would love to stay again in future.

Worst food, worst service, every person you bring to your room is being checked at the lobby like the staff would be police and added to your roomrate. Total rip-off.

Cleanliness is not consistent, Wi-Fi had many issues. Food is not the best. Staff are polite and courteous. When I arrived very late and restaurant was closed, but they assisted in getting cash and delivery of a pizza.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are clean and well maintained. It is walking distance to several shopping centers, banks and restaurants. The staff is also very helpful. Its just a little hidden and can be tough for cab drivers to find.

Reasonable pricing and nice location. The architecture is a bid weird. There is a central enclosed rectangular atrium. The rooms are on the two long sides of that atrium. The floor of the atrium has a nice collection of potted plants. What is weird about this arrangement is that if a hotel guest arrives late at night, the normal sounds of arrival, carrying of baggage, and general conversation echoes LOUDLY throughout the atrium. I was here only one night and, unfortunately, some guests did arrive at midnight. While they didn't make their presence felt loudly, the enclosed atrium just pumped up the volume and echoes of all the sounds of the arrival… I was rudely woken up at midnight. The terrace breakfast and the bar and dining are nice.

A great suite to live in. Room is having loaded kitchenette with microwave n full storage fridge. A great king size bed. Neat n sparkling atmosphere with view of full green park from room. A good step out balcony. I am loving my stay. Learning is to carry universal adaptor as hotel have few it seems. Overall highly recommended place with authentic chinese restaurant.

The Lotus Family recreation area. Come on, don't regret it!
