Excellent experience overall, the manager stopped us to introduce himself and let us know if there were any issues he was available to rectify them. Amazing service and food. The view was gorgeous and we felt very well taken care of. This is one experience that felt like it was worth the cost. The hotel was also clean and well maintained. I would recommend the Mandi meal under the tent as this was a real treat and not an experience that you could get just anywhere. I really cannot thank them enough for such a great experience.

Relaxing, comfortable, great service, great food. You must have dinner in the Bedouin tent! The pool could be warmer.

Outstanding views, especially at dawn and dusk. Shuttle is good. Tent food is superb. Outstanding hospitality. Loved the sand artist.

This is an amazing place! The whole staff is genuine and friendly. Although a 5 star hotel, this gives an authentic Jordanian experience. Amazing hospitality and amenities. The restaurant serves authentic Jordanian food AND western favorites if you are not feeling adventurous. The waiters are all now my friends and they are great to speak with (English spoken well). The tea they serve is great and comes with a view of the Petra mountains. The spa and the pool are both a great way to relax after a long trip to Petra. The staff managing that treated me very well. Good taxi service. This was my favorite place of my 2 week stay in Jordan.

Great breakfast, nice outdoir pool but a bit cold in the beginning of September. Good sunset views. Slightly old style decor but consider the rest of the hotels it's a fabulous choice. Personally, I think one should experience sleeping in a tent in Wadi Ram.

A beautiful hotel located on the mountain overlooking Petra mountains, far away from the town so you need a car, v. Good rooms and service and offer a free Wi-Fi.

This place is gorgeous. The location is excellent. The viw is astonishing & the ambience especially in the evening was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the service and staff were magnificent. It was all in all a great stay and worth the money we have paid.

In King's Height Way Kingly, Pro Musa village Moses, Mt. Valley on the court. Overlooking the Petra Perry Valley → Especially the SiGe Snake Road Entrance Plaza. Buffet-style meal, service staff friendly, and Margaret amiable.

Superb view over Petra mountains. Reasonable space in the rooms. Breakfast buffet repetitive so stay only 1 day max 2 days. Good location to prepare a visit to Petra.

Very good hotel, great breakfast and view. Been there in New Year's Eve. They have a 100usd dinner for 3 hours. Nice and quiet bar. High security. Not close to the Petra site, but 8-10km away. If you have a car, this is not a problem. We ate out, at AL WADI RESTAURANT.

Location: A little out of Wadi Musa, but if one has a rented car it is no trouble at all, takes about 6-8 mins to reach the Petra visitor centre. It has a beautiful view from the valley facing rooms. Rooms: The room was spacious with a comfortable king size bed, very soft and cozy, the sleep quality was excellent. Other amenities in the room are standard Marriott fare, no complaints there… I have had better toiletries supplied in other Marriott properties I stayed, but this one was not bad either. The TV had grainy reception, but I was not using it much anyway. No complementary Wi-Fi, but it is free if you are member of Marriott reward, so one can instantly enroll at the reception and avail the facility. Cell phone reception is patchy because of the hills and remote location, so 4G may not be very usable while on this property. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was good, with the standard items plus local pickles and cold meats. The coffee server was fresh and well done. Good selection of cheese and other spreads for bread. Restaurant : I did not use the restaurant on the property much as I had my meals in the town to get a little local flavour.

Very nice hotel, amazing service. Located 10min from the visiting center I highly recommend it. There's 2 restaurants, a buffet and a la carte. And the Spa us the perfect reward after a long day wandering in Petra.

Decent hotel South of Petra, good if you rented a car as the prices are much more competitive than movenpick. We found the in house dining to be comparable to Petra prices.

Dinner (a local dish called MANSAF) was excellent. The server is very friendly and the service relentless.

I have never had in my life, such great service, genuine and generous staff! Amazing experience, welcoming staff, nice and helpful people all over this hotel! They will go the extra mile to help you and satisfy you, and make sure you do not need anything! Mr. Mahmoud the hotel manager, his service manager, and all the staff are amazing people! I would recommend picking this hotel, if I am going again to Petra, is to stay at this hotel!

The Petra Marriott is a really nice hotel. The rooms were spacious with really comfortable beds. The shower and bathroom was luxurious. We were able to watch an incredible sunset while relaxing in our room. They have a sports bar and a restaurant.

I was upcharged for two person occupation even though the hotel policy clearly states that the upcharge only applies to people AFTER two. Air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. Ice machines are not available for customer use, and the service staff did never brought the ice requested to my room in the evening. Ice was denied to me the following morning because "there was only enough in the hotel for the restaurant breakfast". Front desk staff was very rude and unprofessional. Restaurant and bar staff were excellent. The views were amazing.

The room smelled so badly when we came in, heavy cigarettes and it took a while for the ac to clear the air. The food is ok, but staff tried their best to accomodate requests and provide good service.

I loved it and it has a great kitchen. It's worth spending a few nights there. Magical sunset.

I would not have to have name of that chain, to get out you have to pay the mobsters of the door taxis that charge you 10 Jordans for a trip that leaves 2 jordanes at most. But as you are staying in a 5 star hotel you charge 5 times more and if you arrive in another taxi from the city they start to argue at the door. Of terror, look for a hotel near the entrance of Petra I will thank luck.

The staff here is outstanding and very friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Each of our rooms, however, seemed to have something that wasn't quite working right… a night light in one room and the hot-water-only sink and leaky shower in another.

Love everything about this hotel. It offers a great alternative to the other sometimes more expensive options Wadi Musa has to offer. The pool/terrace view is worth every penny. The only downside to this hotel is the dated furniture and decor. All in all, highly recommended.

Very nice views. Location very far from downtown. Good facilities. The SPA is dirty, half closed and very small. And the worst the food, very little variety and low quality. I won't repeat!

I stay at the 5 star Marriott. After two hours of waiting to give me the key, I went to dinner, the next day it was not much madrugon. At 5 in the morning it sounds like a bomb the phone in my room. The shock was enormous. I seen and low to see what happens, no one answers. Bad milk got to start the phone and kick ended at reception. Is a 5 star not pension Tia Manolita.

This hotel is beautifully situated, but potential guests should be mindful of the potential for abysmal customer service. I booked without breakfast included, and then instantly canceled the reservation and re-booked with breakfast included. When we arrived at the hotel, we were made to wait for 20 minutes in the lobby because the staff said they did not have a room available and might need to accommodate us at a competitor hotel. Ultimately, they were able to find a room for us. The problem is that a few days after our stay I noticed additional charges on my bill. The hotel charged us substantial "no show" fees for the original canceled reservation. When I forwarded them proof that I had, indeed, canceled the reservation within a timeframe to avoid financial penalty, they ignored my email and subsequent attempts to contact them. They did not reverse the charges. Adding insult to the injury of ignoring unassailable proof of the canceled booking is the fact that we obviously stayed at the hotel under an active reservation, they had to scrape to find us the room we did occupy, and they never mentioned a second presumed reservation when we checked in. "Customer Care" at Marriott Corporate was worse than useless in trying to resolve the dispute. Ultimately, I ended up providing pertinent documentation to my credit card company and had the charges reversed through this pathway. But the process was ridiculously arduous.

A few weeks ago I was stayed in this hotel, and I want to share my experience with everyone. The hotel is situated in an area in which there is nothing outside the hotel (shops, restaurants, bars, etc). From the hotel I can say, that is not what they sell (5-star, etc) I mean by parts: — common Areas: Advertise free Internet (WI-FI). It is not true, if you want to connect you have to pay, except in the hotel reception, which is free of charge. The restaurant leaves much to be desired in the matter of food. There is variety and its preparation is quite unfortunate. — Rooms: The room cleaning service. Limited to a slight stretching of the sheets and does not seem to clean the room. In some web, s I have read that the rooms have bathrobe. This is false, do not put bathrobes in the rooms. In general, it's not worth going to this hotel, and even less so to pay the price they ask for the room, which to my mind is far from what should be a 5-star hotel. My recommendation is to look for a hotel that is located in front of the reception of Petra, that is, very good, and cheaper.
