Top floor onsen is the highlight. Especially good deal during the week when it's in the 8000yen range. Very clean and nice staff.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everyone was willing to help. The rooms were comfortable.

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were great.

Very friendly frontdesk. Answers all questions accordingly. Decent and clean room and the space is normal for Japanese standards. There's a public hot bath at the top floor which is perfect after a day of intensive working or sightseeing. Location is perfect and quiet. Don't bother JR with your luggage, just take taxi. To Kioto station is around 1200¥.

In Japanese rooms for moderate, air conditioning is also very fast, overnight finishing is also very real, there is a large bath can be soaked quite comfortable, reception staff cordial and rapid.

The rooms are clean, great location, and very nice staff.

Very good hotel. A few steps from a metro station, one stop from the train station. Comfortable and spacious, it has baths on the top floor. The staff is very available and will do the utmost to help you.
This is where I'll be coming down for my next Kyoto pass.

The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The building is located near a train station and a bus stop so it is easy to get around Kyoto from here.

This is a nice hotel located in the heart of Kyoto. It is conviently located close to temples, bus stops/train stations, and stores/restaurants. The staff is really nice too.

This hotel was excellent, we certainly didn't expect anything this nice when we were booking for the price that we paid for the hotel. The lobby was gorgeous and the service was excellent. We had our bags forwarded from Tokyo and they were placed in our room for us before we arrived to check in. They had all the amenities you could ask for, including self serve laundry and an onsen, besides all the available toiletries including a razor, toothbrush with toothpaste, q-tips etc. It's about a 20 min or so walk to the main station, but the hotel is convenient to a subway entrance if you wanted to take that instead. We were easily able to access everything in Kyoto. The room was more than enough room for the two of us. Great experience! Thank you!

Clean, friendly staff room interior slightly outdated. Lots to see and do around the neighbourhood back street, lots of interesting little nooks to explore. We will come back again.

Modern rooms with a decent size. Fine bed still a little hard, but that is the Japanese standard. Nice spa and decent breakfast. The breakfast could have been more appealing. It is as if they tried to make a little bit of everything and made too many things. The result was the quality was low on the majority of the things. I would have appreciated less things but of higher quality.

I love this hotel! Of course it is clean (it is in Japan! ) And their staff are helpful and friendly. There is coin laundry and spa facilities. Drug store and food store such as McDonalds are also nearby (walking distance).

Rooms were clean, staff was very helpful and friendly with things like storing our luggage in the morning before we checked in.

Hotel close to Gojo subway station elevator at Exit 6 — Clean — Onsen — Calm — Good breakfast — reasonable price for the service compared to Tokyo and Osaka.

Very elegant and refreshed. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. Very small but inviting and welcoming public bathrooms. Close to the bus, Metro and Kyoto station. Recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Clean and well cared for with polite staff. We stayed in a room with two beds which were a little hard by American standards but not uncomfortable. There is a public bath available but we did not take advantage of it while we were there. This hotel is very close to the subway entrance so it's very convenient. I recommend it!

Decent hotel. Amenities are good and staff is very nice, but the bed is quite uncomfortable. Pretty convenient to the Kyoto subway, which is NOT covered by the JR pass. Nearest JR station is approx. A 15-20 min walk.

Typical Japanese City Hotel. Quite good location of the lot also on foot reach can. Rooms could use a little clean (carpet with stains). Small Breakfast room there is with the waiting time to be expected. Wi-Fi in the entire Hotel.
