Review of Hotel Executive 4*

Stayed here with my husband in June — we were very impressed with this place, it has everything you need, we did miss having a kettle with coffee and tea supplies in our room however (we are a little spoilt with this in Australia) they also were a bit unsure about letting us use an iron for our clothes which we thought was unusual! Perhaps they thought we would be careless with it and burn the place down! :-) We had some problems with the restaurant initially and wondered if it was worth eating there, but we explained our grievances with staff at reception and eating in the restaurant was very pleasant thereafter. A special thanks to JD for making our visits to the restaurant welcoming and a lot better after feeling like we were not appreciated as guests at first. She has a very calming and friendly disposition and handles her job very well. The staff at reception are super lovely, always smiling and greeting us, nothing is too much trouble we found, they were happy to help at all times and even went out of their way to organise a transfer to Florence airport for us at the end of our trip (with special breakfast parcels to take with us which was lovely). Its a great location, easy to get into central Siena as the bus stop is right outside the front of the hotel. Some people might expect many things when they stay in hotels overseas, but we felt for the price, hospitality, location and comfort, Hotel Executive is a great place to stay and would recommend it no problem. Siena is amazing and this hotel is a great place to retire to after a good days worth of exploring Siena's beauty.
