I was there a while ago.
very familiar management with the very kind proprietor.
they also offered us a delicious aperitif in the afternoon.
low prices and proximity to the main tourist routes.
quiet area.

Good hotel a few steps from the center of Florence. Located on the first floor of a building, you have to play to access. The staff is very friendly. Good breakfast. Clean and well kept rooms. The reception spaces and the breakfast room are very small recommended if the prices are contained.

This hotel had very friendly staff that can help you find your way around the big city. The rooms are great and have plenty of space and a great layout. The complimentary breakfast is absolutely a perfect way to start the day before exploring Florence. It is located about a 15 minute walk from downtown, but the busses can get you anywhere you want to be pretty quickly.

Rooms large and the amenities are fine. Bath clean, unfortunately the shower seal is mouldy. Italian breakfast, very good coffee … friendly and personal, paths to the old town about 20 minutes walk, taxi 8-10 euros.

Bad quality. Small and dirty bathrooms, do not make beds, or change towels overnight, and poor quality towels. They have no reception and the breakfast has nothing to do with the photo. They only give hard bread and four soft cereals. And furniture full of dust. They don't let you use the elevator for being small and bad, they just let you get some suitcase. Poor quality Wi-Fi. For nothing advisable, we have only spent two nights and have never slept so bad.

Cheap Hotel, probably made from an ancient palace, from which you can easily reach the centre (by means) or, if you want to walk, on foot. Staff friendly and helpful to provide also tourist information.

We chose this Hotel because it is close to the Teatro dell'opera in Florence (you can reach it in a 5-minute walk), which is also within 10 minutes of the centre of Florence.
The hotel occupies an entire historic building and is equipped with an elevator.
Our room presented itself essential in its simple furnishings with free Wi-Fi connection well clean and with a large bathroom with shower.
Breakfast in line with how much paid and well assorted.
Professional, friendly and helpful staff for the choice of the restaurant.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-organized. We had booked two rooms and they even gave us the apartment. A very nice owner entertained us during breakfast coming to meet our every wish. Fascinating the stairs and the railing.

Florence is beautiful, this hotel was the only unpleasant reminder, courtesy service of 0, but on nightmarish hotel could be a blockbuster! I also note with pleasure that the owner takes more effort to justify his "many" bad reviews with imagination and arrogance than to improve his work! Really a bad memory of Florence glad that is located in a city so beautiful and that he is an exception the Florentines are very kind people… the other.

I think it's more than just this vote at least for the moment, with some improvements could definitely become excellent. Spacious and clean room, the small bathroom and in my opinion to renovate, especially the shower tray (slide/sliding table to change absolutely, ruined and little cared for). Heating on our arrival so atmosphere a bit ' cool. Good location (rated 4), 15 minutes from the station and the centre (on foot). Connected well by means. Nice and friendly staff (rated 4)

Room extends with high ceilings that I love, and very clean the Lord of the hotel very nice and attentive indicated us very good to move around the city, buses to catch and sites to see to repeat.

Is a beautiful hotel because is a historic building. The service was awesome and the distance to the centre is perfect, you can take a bus easy.

Nice hotel with breakfast included. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The man who works there are very nice and helpful if you need information about the town — ask him. Okey breakfast compared to other hotels, a bit to weak for me as a swede. Close to the city centre. If you need a parking lot on the street outside, look for the ones with blue lines. They are apparently for tourists etc. And nobody will check if you pay or not.

The guy at the front desk is super Bordo and disease. There are notes with prohibitions and fines of 50euros for everything. Even by washing your clothes.

Simple and old but large and clean room. No AC, but at night on may the weather is nice to sleep. There is no place to hang the shower, so you have to hold it with one hand all the time, but they have bathtub.

Although I did not plan to stay at this hotel, my impressions were the best for their organization and professionalism. My booking to another B&B was canceled at the last minute and Mauricio, the owner of Hotel Leopolda, spent much time communicating with the other accommodation as well as with the company managing my booking in order not to lose my money. He also gave me the best information about the city because I had already lost valuable time. The hotel Leopolda is beautifully decorated with all the comforts — safety and clean. But the biggest asset is the owner who helped me without any personal gain. It is very important, in my opinion, when you visit a foreign country to treat you as a person rather than as a ''mobile wallet'' and Mauricio certainly knows about people. Thank you a lot. The room was spacious and clean, but it was impossible to sleep with the noise of a machine that had stuck to our room.
We discussed it to the owner of the hotel, and made no case, not even worry about the four nights we were. I don't recommend it.

My experience was nothing short of very unplesant. Have done for a double for a room with two single beds with orthopedic nets and mattresses pushed together by only a sheet. In the morning we found ourselves when I was a part of the room and him from another. There was a Groove and when I went to turn around in the morning I fell. Also the staff is allowed to insult me by telling me that I was just a kid of 1996 and that therefore had to keep quiet. And not only are you even allowed to enter my privacy explicitly asking what I did with my boyfriend last night. Do not recommend highly enough; for those who want to spend days on the serenity hotel Leopolda is the wrong choice you could make.

Manager was excellent and so helpful. No there isn't any AC, but the temperature was fine in September. There are a bunch of mosquitos in Florence and they will eat you up, so do not sleep with the windows open if at all possible. And from what I understand most of the hotels do not have AC. Room was nothing to write home about, but I rested well and it was pretty clean, it's just a really old building as are most of the buildings in Florence, but I felt safe and comfortable while I rested, which is all I needed my room for. Once again the staff were accommodating and so very pleasant, even gave me all the best places to go to and what and what not to pay for as far as how to get around Florence.

Family atmosphere and cleanliness.

It is a three star Hotel of good quality.
At 10 minutes from the Centre of Florence, has a small room and fairly clean.
Breakfast a bit minimal (compared to other hotels I visited) but of good quality.
The staff is very friendly and helpful even to tell us of the itineraries for visiting the many monuments of Florence.
All in all good experience.
