Great location but no pressure and hot water even though we changed rooms. It's a shame for a 3 star hotel!

Rooms are not too big, but this is Italy, so they are ok. The building is very old, which would be nice… but the doors are paperthin, the bathroom needs big upgrade because it is especially loud. Most of the rooms very noisy from the outside, so not much sleep before 2am if you can't sleep to disco music. Locations is great and the rooms are clean.

Very interesting conversion of an hystorical palace in a charming Hotel. Good International Breakfast with friendly service people. Every room has it's unique fashion as it was a monastery in the past. Will sleep there again next time I'll visit Florence and invite others to enjoy those good price/value offers.

Wonderful place for a Florence Trip! Not a modern interior but that is what makes this place so special. You are in Tuscany and you can feel it. The staff & people are WONDERFUL! Everybody, reception, housekeeping, bar tender, so helpful and friendly. The Rooftop teracce is stunning. Breakfast simple, but enough to start the day right! So for a few days in the heart of Tuscany — PERFECT Place!

The best place to stay. 1. The comfortable rooms which are very royal as the hotel name says. 2. Very kind people who guides about the city very well. 3. Very close to city main bahn. 4. Lavish interior and breakfast. Worth the money. As fantastic as Florence!

Location is very central, walking distance from main train station and top attractions are just on walking distance. Room and Bathroom was spacious for family and baby cot was also provided. Market is around the hotel and main market is just behind the hotel. Staff was helpful and speak English.

We found the air conditioning was not working during a heat wave. When I asked they agreed it wasn't working but they were having trouble getting it fixed. 4 days into the holiday still not working and they are reluctant to supply a fan. The heat has been so extreme weather have not had a full nights sleep since we got here. Absolutely appalling. Finally supplied a fan with a split in the outer wiring insulation. Staff defensive and unhelpful. Finally got aircon working. When we returned and checked TripAdvisor there were a whole raft of complaints from other guests with the same complaints. Can't see how they justify 3 star hotel rating. Breakfast was a very claustrophobic experience, very crowded, awful coffee and kept running out of cups. Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If it wasn't for the fact that the location was so outstanding this hotel could not stand on its own merits.

Decent rooms, good service and a roof terrace with great views over Florence, would recommend!

Located in the center of Florence the hotel is a little dated but comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the guests.

Structured on several floors, in the centre, a few steps from the central station and the Duomo, it offers to the clientele a panoramic terrace.

Problem is the room the gave us was really small for a couple and a baby, no storage other then a wardrobe a table and a press which contained a fridge so baby clothes were stacked on the table with baby food. Had to change the baby on the bed. Had to ask for a kettle for the room so I could make bottles. Unfortunately the top floor and terrace was being renovated so lots of building work was going on during our visit, which wasn't too much of a problem as we were out touring most days but very noisy on the days we were there plus it would have been nice to use the terrace as it was one of the reasons I booked the hotel.

Hotel very well located, from here you can go to all important parts of the city including train and tram, clean and its staff very friendly and correct, for putting some little sticky at breakfast, quality/price…

Discouraged! Hotel for foreign tourists. Caustrofobica room. Holes in the walls. Carpeting. Old stoves out of use with electric cables discovered in the already narrow rooms. Problems with sink drain. And more. Old and poorly maintained structure. Breakfast just enough. Friendly staff.

The hotel is in the old centre of Firenze, great position! The breakfast was good and so was the coffe. The heat in our room doesn't work at all in the first night, but after we talk to staff, the second night was better, but still doesn't work properly. The hot water was also a problem. After all, the hotel win with the central position, the kind staff and good breakfast.

The hotel in terms of location is perfect, close to the Duomo and close to the train station. I have been given a room that was outdated and small, may have booked with Booking has its drawbacks. Second floor overlooking an inner courtyard that did not reach the light. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the room was quite cold. The heating system left a lot to be desired. The terrace I have not seen I imagine that will be fine. The stars receive them for the staff treatment, that has been 5 stars.

Excellent staff and impeccable facilities. My room and its bathroom nicely spacious. The location is perfect, close to everything. The ambience is remembered to Florence. Would come back safe.

There is no parking space and difficulty with hot water in the morning hours. Too small shower stall with klejonochnymied curtains. The air conditioning in the room is noisy. But it works on cooling and heating. There are no irons and ironing rooms (do not provide services for smooth-washing) but very close to the main attractions!

Beautiful decoration Nevertheless the comfort of the rooms remain quite sketchy. Low light near the bed and covers of 1950… The reception remains very attentive.

Good value for money, we stumbled upon a room on the fifth floor with a nice view and the big balcony. Rooms a little dated, but comfortable, and helpful staff.

Very quiet and spacious room, friendly staff and quite rich breakfast. Economic Perdipiu. Too bad for the bad smells coming from the bathroom and the bed a bit hard.

Good: location, cleanliness and breakfast complete and varied.
Bad: very old furniture, almost flat pillow and many mosquitoes enter the room.

Room was very cold, even with the heat blasting all night. There were no blankets in the room — we were only able to get one thin one from the front desk which was insufficient. The mattress was worn out — bedsprings poked my hips and butt all night. Good location, good breakfast, nice staff, but we would not stay there again.

It is very well located near Santa Maria Novella, is comfortable.

After spending a night with what I can only assume are bed bugs running across my pillows I couldn't wait to leave this hotel. Very old, decor! Defivteky needs an upgrade! Tiny bathroom with broken shower door, problem with drainage sovwas oaddling in water that leaked all over the floor — bath gel amenities, bath & shower gel available next to sink not in shower and no where to put shampoo or conditioner etc and shower was hardly big enough to even bend down! Old bedding (not sheets) didn't feel clean! Only 3 hangers in the wardrobe and took over 2 hrs to get more! Walls were so thin I could hear conversations words for word, I could even hear when the rooms next door ran their taps let alone flush the toilet! It was like we were in the same room! There was so much noise from the alley below that kept me awake along with the noise from surrounding rooms which is why I saw the bed bugs/insects on my pillows as my light was on because I couldn't sleep! I told the staff that night I would be checking out and they still tried to charge me for the rest of my stay which I refused to pay! This place isn't really worth one star to be honest — in my opinion it's not even a good bed and breakfast, more like a bad hostel than a hotel let alone a palace!

Everything was excellent, flawless really. We got a big cozy room and the breakfast had a wide variety of foods. The location is great, as it's close to the train station. I'd recommend it to anyone and would return to it myself if I were to return to Florence.

Very convenient location near the train station. Rooms are simple and the pillows are good. We had two towels in the bathroom and then three, what appeared to be, pillowcases. No floor towel, no hand towels, no washcloths. Odd. When room service came, they left a floor mat but didn't change the hand soap dispenser, which was out of soap. The A/C worked well and the room was pretty clean. The bed was comfy and the pillows were great. Breakfast was good and in line with other European hotel included breakfasts. Overall, I would stay here again.

A friendly and strategic hotel. Immersed in the street of the markets in Florence, it presents a pleasant aesthetic, friendly staff and an essential breakfast for all tastes.

We had some issues staying here. The room we were initially shown into smelt like sewage. We got another room once the staff confirmed the smell, but it was far smaller than the previous room we had paid for. The bathroom was rediculously​ small, as a guy, you couldn't stand to urinate because the sink was in the way, this seems strange by even European standards. Walls were extremely thin and could hear the rooms next door and constant furniture shifting (? ) upstairs. Additionally our room was right next to the hotel sign overlooking the street so night did not some. The "international" breakfast included was far from international — think small continental. Staff were helpful and accommodating when asked, however I'm sure there is better value elsewhere.

Good breakfast I tried numerous B&B, but I never found a breakfast so varied and at the same time very pleasant. The rooms are clean and adapted to a 3 star.

Polite staff, great location, but the room too small little soundproof and with shower where you could barely fit a person. Also the cleaning ladies are not attentive to the entrances and the exits of the customers because often they happened to come into the room when we were still there. Breakfast of poor quality, there was even served the water of the fountain in a bottle and the coffee was to say the least undrinkable. Nevertheless we were treated discreetly, we were offered a bottle of water taken from the fridge bar and gifted as a gift of local cantucci and a bottle of red wine.

Hotel very well located 10 min walk to the main monuments of Florence. Nice room with traditional Florentine style. Very friendly staff. Only breakfast is not up to par.

Excellent location! Only a 5 minute walk from the main train station and a short walk to all the main sites. We had a very nice room with small balcony and beautiful view of the Dome of the main Basilica. Excellent friendly staff and a very nice breakfast.

A great place to stay, close to everything, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good, no complaints. Will stay here again.

Decent room, very comfortable bed and very good location. I personally think the breakfast there lacks a couple of things, but good overall. On the bad side, the Wi-Fi is extremely bad. The speed is barely enough for a 480p YouTube video. Also, I'm from Spain and I can only plug my devices in two of all the sockets in the room. Quite frustrating.

We had a large room with a queen and single bed. Big bathroom and lots of space for luggage. Location was walking distance of everything. Would definitely stay there again.

Great little hotel. Staff was very nice, good breakfast option for food, coffee, juice and fruit. Rooms were nice and big. Decent location, close to trains as well as a short walk to lots of places we wanted to visit. Had some good nightlife down the street outside of it which made for good fun and easy travel to get back to our place.

The hotel is near the train station (5min on foot) and downtown Florence is in convienient walking distance. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The downside of the place is the worn out and shaky bed, the small shower (hardly working, especially if you prefer hot water) and the noise (street in front of the hotel, the water in the pipes when your neighbors shower or flush the toilet, people walking in the hallway).

Favorable: Its location near the train station and five minutes from the tourist areas. Unfavorable: Room, described as "upper", very small and poorly distributed. The toilets in the bathroom very old and repainted white. The window of the room, the fifth floor, overlooks a courtyard full of scrap, utensils, rusty and outputs of fumes. The terrace that they advertise on their website is closed and you can see some metal chairs fully oxidized. Of course it is false that for stays of four nights you obsequien with a bottle of wine. Not speak English at the reception and don't give any indication if they query something. The breakfast is always the same and quite poor. I shall not be seen there.

Thank you to the hotel staff, friendly and informative. Hotel is located close to the train station, market and downtown Florence. No thank you for the weak Wi-Fi, paper thin walls, stained bed sheet, 2 foot by 2 foot shower (had to shower with the curtain open to fit, I'm 185 pounds, 6 feet tall), and no thank you for the broken electoral wall outlets.

Not great beds, sign that says not to flush toilet paper, and not good for lite sleepers, very loud traffic noise. Room was pretty and had remodeled bathroom and some nice views. Hotel staff nice and helpful.

Got single room for 4 nights at a good price. The room is overall decent, no view and Wi-Fi takes very little but it is clean. The Hotel is just 4 steps from the Medici chapels and the station s. M. N. Central enough. The breakfast is of sufficient quality. All in all a sufficient 3 star hotel.

What a disappointment — thought it would be good to be remained in the sister hotel Hotel and that was great — this is nothing like his sister. The noise from the adjoining room kept me awake all night, the bathroom was so small, could hardly walk and close the door, the bathroom was lined with rust points and the establishment as a whole was dirty — we had to go early because of the State but they refused to refund any money — we had to pay again after another hotel.
