The place and the setting is very nice but the details are missing at this place. No eggs for breakfast and the same spread everyday. Pool is filled with bees. For the price I expected a lot more but I would call this place just average.
Heaven on earth: perfect for a Chianti retreat: Guido was a perfect host, he has always a good tip or a restaurant recommendation for you, and the included breakfast and aperitivo were amazing! Perfect location to discover Chianti! Very comfy bedrooms. And what a view over the Chianti! I fully recommend this hotel, it's an heaven on earth.

La Locanda is a very pleasant place. Guido is a fantastic host. He looked after us from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. The aperitivo he serves every evening is a beautiful touch. The location is sort of remote but that’s the beauty of it. You hear nothing but nature and even come across a few deers at night. It’s still 10 to 20min drive to pretty villages and great restaurants. The pool has insane views over the rolling hills of Tuscany. We travelled with a small kid and it’s a comfortable place to stay with a child. Loved La Locanda. And thank you Guido for a great stay.
