Nice place, nice view on the mountains, you eat very well, cozy rooms, availability of the owners and the employees to the guests. Great for families.

Believe it or not, it was fantastic! One could argue that Ligonchio is not exactly the most recurrent name in the list of the touristic places in Italy. Fair enough. But things change, sometimes. I was there with some friends (50! ) and I was the first not expecting too much from the place…, but surprisingly the Rifugio was so good! The resort is completely wooden made (abete rosso), with rooms and chalets. I was in a chalet with my family. Everything is built in harmony with the surrounding nature. In the main building where you can find the reception and the dining room was wonderful. I shared some pictures. The food excellent! The second day we also had sauna and swimming pool in the SPA… So, if you are looking for a relaxing week (end), or you are a group looking for a quiet place where to talk/play/have walks… don't think about it. Just go. You'll find very nice people welcoming you! And, dulcis in fundo, it's cheap. Check it out!

Great place, I was there for New Year's Eve, the place is very quiet, the landscape really nice, the structure cute and equipped with spa, is the ideal place to relax a few days and eat very well.

Very comfortable and not at all obvious. If you want to spend some time in tranquility this is the right place. The Refuge is divided into many small houses as an "albergo diffuso" even if it all remains within the same area. Some of them are rooms and managed by the Refuge while others are mini-apartments, so you have to choose well according to your needs. On request you can even bring your pet as some of the "houses" are used with the fence. Within the area there is also a restaurant/pizzeria where you can eat very well. The staff is very reliable and polite ready to meet the needs of the customer. Ligonchio, but more precisely, this place is an excellent starting point for hikes on the many mountain trails that are present around them.

Shame because the hotel is beautiful but fails to defeat x tourism.

The property is beautiful, practically new, the rooms are large and warm, the staff is welcoming and the lounge is gorgeous. You will enjoy a beautiful view and you eat very well.

We stayed at the Eagle Hut with a Cai group for a weekend. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The indoor pool and spa area were a lifesaver after the Saturday excursion.
The structure dedicated to the restaurant and reception strikes immediately. The wood is the master, both in the rooms and in the ' common ' environments, giving the impression of being in an alpine area. Very good dinner and Curatossima also the presentation of the dishes (which does not spoil).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth considering for future tours in the area.

Pets allowed but… holiday ended before you start.
We made the reservation on 20/07/2016, today is the 13th of August 2016 day when we had to access the hut and start the long-awaited holidays.
We had specified to have a small dog so they allocated the room with a balcony, and up here all well.
Arriving at your destination after 2 hours drive, we do not find any indication for the reception desk.
We are indicated by the restaurant staff where to contact us.
Mrs. Mara with whom I had made arrangements and shipped the deposit of €175, I interview on the age and the breed of the dog.
The problems begin here.
Our dog is too small, according to their criteria, to be brought on vacation and stay in a structure like their own. But I say, if you admit dogs, then be clearer and if anything the interviews do them at the time of booking.! With displeasure I understand that my puppy of 5 months, 8kg is not well accepted.
Looking for a solution I propose a security deposit of €300 for any damage caused by the dog. But joking!
Then I would recommend to take advantage of the balcony, which for the other was to be single but it turned out to be in division with another room next to make the dog stay so not dirty.
We didn't…
To my dissent I ask for the return of the deposit and holiday ended before you start.
