Bed and Breakfast

Perfect location for people who like to discover cities while walking. Fantastic rooms with lots of design details. Every room has his own bathroom. Very friendly stuff and owner Loredana. Perfect breakfast and lovely terrace. We enjoyed our stay there a lot and can highly recommend to stay there. Thank you guys for everything!

While in Catania we stayed at the Bellini B&B. We arrived a little early and first climbed several sets of steep stairs with our luggage to find the doors locked. Calling the local Italian phone number on the door Loredana said she would be right over. About 15 minutes later the door open and we were greeted warmly an offered conversations in either English or solid German. We then learned of the elevator (smile) we could use in another part of the building that was slow, oddly designed, small, but very helpful. The location is excellent for exploring the center of the city and is next to a walking park. Many excellent restaurants are nearby including one directly below the B&B. We had a car, and a garage with parking services was offered at a reasonable rate just around the corner. The garage is not a part of the B&B, but it was safe and watched by the business running the service. A supermarket is across the street. The room and bathroom is clean, had a small refrigerator, in a quiet area, the bed was OK, and for Italian standards is well maintained. Breakfast was generous, home made, and the baked goods are tasty. We did have a price difference in the breakfast cost vs the website advertised cost, but we did not call it out. For coffee you might want to consider other options, or hand make your own as we did. Driving in and out is “OK” but you must have nerves of steel and a good navigation system to drive anywhere in Sicily.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Bellini Home B&B. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious and made us feel right at home. The breakfast is simply delicious with homemade Sicilian cakes and pistacchio cream. The rooms are spacious, well air-conditioned and very quiet (even though you are in the city centre). Everything was clean and Covid regulations were respected. The terrace for enjoying breakfast is lovely. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the main sites of Catania. The Bellini Gardens next door are a nice escape from the heat on a summer's day. We look forward to staying again on a future trip to Catania. Grazie mille!

The fabulous reception of Loredana, the beautiful spacious rooms and equipped with every comfort, the central location, the excellent breakfasts… impossible to spend a few days at Bellini Home without leaving fully satisfied!

We stayed here for 1 night, after CityFair B&B cancelled our reservation on us.
Pluses:
1. Incredibly warm, friendly staff.
2. Clean, quiet, secure.
3. Fast, free Wi-Fi.
4. Kettle and refrigerator in room.
5. Lovely villa rooms with vaulted ceilings.
6. Free breakfast buffet with homemade treats.
7. Nice little terrace off the breakfast room.
8. Good location right off Via Etnea.
Minuses:
1. The villa is lovely from the outside, and the rooms are nice. But entering the villa courtyard is a construction disaster zone. Be aware that the B&B is far nicer than the entryway suggests!
2. The construction zone issue also resulted in all the water being shut off at 11pm. We had to call the management and wait for a repairman until about midnight.
3. Not much of a relaxation/lounge area in the B&B. There is a single sofa in the hallway, but not so relaxing or inviting.
4. Be warned that there are 4 or 5 flights of stairs up to the B&B, and no lift.
Overall, I recommend!

Two couples traveling together chose this B&B for its location, price and reviews. We had the two large rooms overlooking the front garden each with a balcony. Loradana was very gracious and helpful as was the staff. The breakfast room was bright and spacious and the many food choices was amazing! The pastries were as delicious as they were beautiful and the coffee was great! There is also a nice breakfast terrace. We found the foam mattress much too firm but our friends liked it. The only caution to travelers is that there are 62 stairs up to the front door.

Good breakfast & and very cosy and clean but most of all the staff is amazing. Thank you Loredana for a lovely stay.

Nice and Neat. We came for our anniversary and we enjoyed it especially for the very good reception and helpfulness of the staff.

For me the best B&B of Catania, cool rooms, clean and quiet, breakfast abundant and with a lot of choice.
Impeccable Service, Mrs. Loredana is always very available.
Try it in person, you will be fine.

Courteous, clean and kind! Bellini Home is a great opportunity for the traveler to Catania. Excellent and abundant breakfast, from the B&B 5 minutes walk and you reach the central areas… Perfect I would say! 5 stars all deserve.

The accommodation is ideal and the owner charming. Exquisite decoration. It is very well located, very close to the centre and in an easy parking area (although Blue area). Breakfast is large and varied; with homemade cakes. Totally recommended!

Value for money was perfect! It is a good place to stay at night when you visit Catania. Good breakfast included, friendly staff, good cleaning. The building might seem old and creepy but all Catania is this way. It is a good central location, has supermarket across the road, and is 3 minutes by foot to via Etnea (best street for turists in Catania). Has balcony, ac, safe, soap included, clean towels, all under 100 euros/ night in late September.

What a wonderful place to stay! Loredana is a very heartwarming and helpful person, I felt like being home within minutes. Very good bed, very nice breakfast, nice and cozy room, the whole place with lots of details. Fantastic!

We spent wonderful days in Catania in April this year and enjoyed staying at the Bellini Home. Loredana spoiled us with her breakfast incl. Even baked cakes, for which she was still standing in the kitchen until night. With her sympathetic warm-hearted manner, she takes time for the guests and stands by her with advice and deeds. And… she speaks german! We are looking forward to 2017

Nice clean rooms, a bit of a walk up two flights of stairs, not ideal if you have walking disabilities. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but walking distance away from via Etna and the main attractions.

A beautiful bed and breakfast, rooms tastefully decorated, clean and perfumed. The kindness and availability of the owner and his collaborator always courteous and smiling, I add the proximity to the historic city centre to walk to monuments and restaurants. The building is under renovation and is on the second floor, street traffic feels if you have sensitive ears like mine, but you can also request the soundproofed room. Great stay.
