Hotel Demo is located close to the train station and other transport facilities. The hotel room was very small and the bed was not great. The breakfast was good and the staff pleasant. Overall, good value for money. I now realise that we visited during a special event and that most rooms would be much bigger and the stay more comfortable.

Quick stop in Milan over night, perfect location to central station, only 10 minutes. Nice clean room, 3 beds, very comfortable, bathroom clean, shower hot. Gave free products, air conditioning. Breakfast included was with lovely coffee, croissants, cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, jams, toasts, perfect. Helpful staff, good stay.

The room was quite small (not a problem) but the bathroom was simply way too small, measuring maybe 1, 2 x 1, 2 meters. To fit a toilet, a shower cabinet, a bidet and a sink in such a small room makes it close to impossible to use properly. Staff was friendly. No minibar (but it's possible to purchase beverages in the lobby) and the safe did not work. For a place to only sleep its ok, but there is room for improvements (literally).

Hotel is old. Elevator really small. Staff attentive. Best feature: 5 minutes walking distance to train station.

Hotel for one night. Convenient that is near the station and bus station that go to the airport. 7min walk

Terrible smell & hygiene. Very outdated standard (once you pass the deceptive reception). Not very helpful staff either.

Terrible room, as soon as you’ve walked through the reception (which is is very deceptive). My wife had booked the room, but couldn’t bear the smell/dust etc, so we decided to ask kindly for half the payment in refund — which the guy in the reception gave a blank «No! » to. Had he done so, I wouldn’t be bothered to write this review, but sure as h*ll would, after that experience. A definite no-go, unless you don’t care about standard, fresh smell & dust.

I stayed at the Hotel Demò in the last days of June 2018 for a pleasure trip as a couple. The hotel room was to say the least ridiculousine size, absurdly small. The bed, placed immediately at the entrance of the room, was practically a little larger than a square and a half and barely entered the room, so much so that it remained attached to the wall for two sides. The mattress was scuttled and the sheets in some stained places. The furniture, from the late 1990s, was quite clean, but cumbersome and clumsy. The bathroom was tiny, the sanitary pads wedged in the corners of the room did not even allow you to sit comfortably. The shower small, but at first glance clean. The daily towel change was carried out. The room was very noisy given the plasterboard walls and very thin doors, especially in the early morning when already at 8 am the neighboring rooms were being cleaned. The reception staff were quite helpful, although in some cases they were annoyed or inattentive. The value for money, in my opinion very poor, given the over 65 euros per night. The only positive note is the convenient location for the Central Station and the Sondrio stop on the M3 line. A three-star that actually deserves barely 2. Absolutely not recommended.

RUN AWAY! Macroscopic, noisy and very old rooms. And they make you pay for a description of room that doesn't exist!

Air conditioners not working, the trivial excuse was the sudden change in temperature… The rooms from a bed, are tiny, as well as the bathroom, you have trouble moving, also the hot water of the shower, arrives after 5 minutes. Just enough cleaning. Merits: A very polite part of the staff. Location, less than 10 minutes from Central station.

Hotel good only for the location (it is in fact a few steps from the central station of Milan). The rooms do not have very large size and the furniture looks outdated. The rooms are also decorated with paintings made by the owner (tastes are tastes). Recommended for the location and only for that.

Well located hotel near the central station but it has nothing to do with the standards of the current hotels.

Malísimo. Fui con mi familia. Una habitación de terror no había lugar para pasar entre las camas, (uno de los colchones era horrible) (la tapa del inodoro rota) la habitación quedaba en otro edificio, hay que atravesar un patio, atrás del que da a la calle, y es compartido con departamentos que no son d el hotel, por la noche se escucharon movimiento de camas.
Carísimo, 180€ y no los vale!. La conserje de la noche, muy mala atención, el que está de madrugada es más amable. Lo elegí por la ubicación pero no vuelvo a elegirlo nunca más!

Lousy. I went with my family. A room of terror there was no place to pass between the beds, (one of the mattresses was horrible) (the lid of the toilet broken) the room was in another building, you have to cross a courtyard, behind the one that faces the street, and It is shared with apartments that are not the hotel, at night was heard bed movement.
Very expensive, € 180 and not worth it! The concierge of the night, very bad attention, the one that is at dawn is kinder. I chose it because of the location but I never choose it again!

Hotel near the central station of Milan and close to tram and Metro stops offer a good breakfast the rooms are basic but clean.

Nice place, I give it 4 stars because there's in the room, no air conditioner. But the hotel is pretty nice.

Room remedied by a portion of the apartment, just renovated but with little pleasant smell of smoke. The breakfast is not that good.

This is a 1 star hotel with an ok lobby, nothing special. There are a lot of horrible hotel in Europe, but this one in Milan takes the cake. The size of the rooms and bathrooms are small and the decor of place is outdated compared to the main lobby. Which host some of the worst staff in Milan. The staff is is incredibly unhelpful and often very rude. Some of the hotel staff members act as if they are doing 6 different jobs at once, while making a big deal over every little request or thing (even if you bring someone to your room for the night). In all honesty save your money and stay somewhere else and buy a pizza next door at Why not café. You will be happier and better off!

Wonderful breakfast but terrible bathrooms. You may like because it's not expensive but it doesn't have an excellent quality.

Very bad decoration. Shameless self-promotion in every place of the poor painter who manages/owns the building. Sleeping or inappropriate staff. Rooms from the furniture laughable. High price for the only mediocre quality.

Hotel Caro, €130 the night, crappy, poorly decorated and with lousy service from its employees.
Located just 8 minutes from the railway station and 25 minutes walk to the historic center.
The decor is bad, scarce and cheap.
The breakfast is of low quality but it fulfills its function.
In our case the room was just a nonsense.
It was accessed from the hotel bar. The toilet at the bar was on our side and we had to keep the window closed because at 1 meter were all the garbage cans of the adjoining building.
We traveled two families (4 adults and 4 girls). We had booked 2 rooms with 4 months in advance and upon arrival we were divided into 3 rooms to each worse.
After much arguing we got to Unificasen in two rooms, one by the garbage and another in another building.

This is pretty good for a short stay, the rooms with three or four beds are pretty tight. It is close to a metro mouth to get to the center in 4 stops.

Good value for money The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. It is very well located, 200 meters from the Central train station, and the subway, which makes it very fast to get to the center of Milan. Being so close to the train Estaciónb makes it very convenient to move from the airport and also to other cities by train.

Small rooms, but conveniently located by Milan's rail station (Centrale). If you have time, get futher into the city center. If you need a quick place by the rail station, then this works.

The receptionist was not friendly and does not understand English. The room that we stayed has the stench of spilled beer. I mentioned it to the staff, but no action taken by him.

Good value for money. The facilities are viejunas but it has more or less of everything. Very close to the central station.

Except for the receptionist who are very unfriendly, the room is nice although ours had no view. The breakfast buffet is fine and the waiter is very friendly. Well located, in four minutes you are at the station, you have a super round the corner and in a bar right next door (why bot) you eat great homemade food with a fantastic deal.

Works for 1-2 nights. No hot water in the shower. Dirty shower head. Small bathroom. Very poor breakfast. Good location.

Good location. Room very basic, no kettle etc. Air con barely cool. Shower floods the toilet floor. My room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast not included, separately charged.

Close to the train station, easy access to metro services. Affordable, clean and free Wi-Fi makes it not a bad option.

Terrible experience. Thankfully one night. Room overlooking the garbage cans. Filth filthy room and bedspreads. Miss the reception unfriendly.

I stayed for just a few hours.
Upon arrival, though nearly in full night out, reception staff helpful and polite. To get to the rooms you have to take an elevator a bit dated but overall usable. The room size was adequate, clean and warm. Bathroom not very big but clean.
In the morning breakfast average. The price definitely not among the cheapest having such a central location.

The best part of this hotel is that the rooms are quiet. No city noise at all and that is a big plus in Milan. Room and bathroom very clean. Location is also good, short walk from the train station and subway. The staff is very professional and friendly, multi lingual. Breakfast was a treat, coffee excellent and food very fresh. If you are planning on dining out choose Friends which is just a block away from Hotel Demo. It was recommended by the day manager. We stayed two nights in late April and would definitely stay there again.

Shabby hotel, noisy rooms, bathroom with hot water problem, average breakfast, and finally completely screwed up mattress (springs came out everywhere) and even with these shabby benefits, he dare to charge the Wi-Fi… except advantage, not very far from The central Station. In short I highly recommend this hotel!

Definitely unfortunate, but the horrible room under the stairs and the casino at night did not play in their favor. Great to just the proximity to the station.
