Restaurant is expensive, with little reward; Fragments of shells in the pasta, uncooked steak, wrong dish contents (asked 3 times to replace), oily, un-cleaned, dirty seafood, deep-fried without spices. Also served without proper cutlery. All this did not convince the waiter to apologise (or much to listen), and he kept arguing. Wine was nice, but we shall not return. Hotel is very nice, with helpful staff. Village around is charming.

Romantic, beautiful old tavern with a breathtaking view to the lake Como. Breakfast was excellent.

Very pleasent and cenic with extraordinary view to Como Lake. The food was very good, with very fresh pasta. The prices, count with about 40/50 Eur a person.

This hotel is perfect for a quiet place right beside the lake and away from the busy parts of Lake Como. However, you can easily get around by boat direct from the hotel or if able enough it is fantastic to walk on the greenway along the coast.

Restaurant and hotel by the lake, close to the Comacina island, very nice and particular. Great food, prices a little above average, but location and quality justify them. To try.

It's a very nice romantic place. Just great! There's a pier, we can take a ride on the ship, near the bus stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They're also spoken in different languages. I was thrilled to eat. I'll be eating with the:-) family soon, _

Beautiful hotel on Lake Como. Romantic place to spend pleasant days on Lake Como. Located close to all the major points of Intetese of the area. Straconsogliato.

Wonderful location but hugely disappointing stay. We arrived on a VERY warm day to find no air conditioning in the room. We asked for a fan but none were available. Nearly 40 degree's and a lot of noise coming from the town further down the lake meant very little sleep that night. The manager didn't seem to have the comfort of his guests hgh on his list. And the poor quality of food at breakfast left us feeling ripped off. The location is superb though, right on the lake and convenient parking, but that's what you're paying for.

Our experience in the restaurant I must describe as absolutely hideous. It was such a beautiful evening that we would never expect to be ripped off and talked to in a way we were by a man, who posed to be a 'manager' when we asked to explain a double charge for a dish which supposed to be 'for two' on our bill. This man just turned his back on us and walked away and then, when I went for explanation, he just started shouting. Probably because this was the only known to him way to prove that he is right. Talking about the quality of the dishes, we are familiar with an Italian casino, and when 'risotto' arrived, it was just rice covered with fried on before oil. We paid 102 euros and left the place being very disappointed and hungry.

A wonderful small hotel that lives up to all the visions of staying at the lake. 19 rooms, but try and get one of the Terrace rooms or balcony rooms. Quiet, peaceful, with an accommodating staff. Breakfast by the lake was great. Dinner is served at 7:30. A little late for us, so we went out a lot. All this place needs is a 5:00 Happy Hour and a 6:30 dinner. Will come back here.

Council appetizer of cheese, risotto with fish from the Lake and Parfait with dark chocolate and coconut. We will visit.

The hotel is extremelly clean. I must have been renewed recently. We did not get the most expensive room, but it was really nice. The manager (familly owned business) was really helpful and friendly. More than that the hotel is litterally by the lake. If you are looking for a reasonably priced nice hotel go for it.
